La Cabaña Eco-Hotel

Beautiful property in the Coffee Region with a peaceful atmosphere and authentic countryside charm. The owner truly cares about the experience here and you can feel the pride in the place. They also have a wonderful manager who is warm, helpful, and attentive — he really enhances the stay. Highly recommend, and I look forward to returning in the future.

We spent two amazing nights at La Cabaña. The location is perfect—remote enough to enjoy peaceful nights, yet close enough to Salento for easy visits. The activities offered are great. We chose the 3-hour horseback riding circuit, which was beautiful. The staff is incredibly kind. A special mention to Eduardo, who picked us up at the airport and drove us back. The food is also amazing and great value for money. The menu features classic Colombian dishes, perfectly prepared and presented. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in Colombia and wanting to visit the Cocora Valley!

Everything about this place is perfect! The service, location, food, rooms, activities offered! We stayed by the river, which was so relaxing! The bed was very comfortable. All of the food we had was amazing. We went horseback riding which was really cool, and my husband got a massage which he said was great. The location is great also, you can easily get into the town of Salento, also easy to get to the Cocora Valley for hiking, and the coffee farms for tours/tastings. The whole experience was wonderful.

Incredible stay - an absolute highlight of our trip in Colombia. Sebastian goes above and beyond with his service. Staff will drive you to Salento town and it is easy to take a public Willy back to the finca, highly recommend staying out of town here. The horseback riding to Santa Rita waterfall was amazing and a must do!!!

This place is one of a kind. We felt like home from the first second and were so sad to leave after 2 amazing days. The food is amazing, starting from the breakfast, lunch and dinner - everything is freshly cooked and so delicious. Fresh milk from the farm and always hot, delicious coffee, whenever you want. Besides the beautiful location and the veeeery comfortable beds - our highlight were the people running this place. Sebastian, Eduard, la dueña and the rest of the staff are such lovely, warm and welcoming people. Thank you for this beautiful experience!!!

We had a wonderful stay at La Cabana Eco-Hotel. This is a family owned hotel, and the pride of the owners is evident. Everything was perfect - from the airport pickup/check-in, to the home cooked meals and excursion planning. Breakfast was delicious with farm fresh eggs, sausages, local fruit and homemade cheese - the perfect start to each day. I highly recommend anyone staying here to take a horseback ride with Hector - it is an awesome ride through beautiful terrain to a waterfall where you can take a dip - in very small groups unlike what you will see elsewhere in the region. Thanks so must to Sebastian for everything, and we will be back again someday!

This has truly been an amazing stay. We felt very welcomed surrounded by beautiful nature and the sound of the river at the back. Hammocks and couches to relax. Everyday a different breakfast buffet with fresh fruit. Free shuttle to Salento. Lots of activities. The room was cleaned every day. And last but not least, the family and personnel were super friendly.

We had the most incredible four nights at La Cabaña. For us, the location was perfect, in a spectacular valley 5/10 mins outside the beautiful town of Salento. The team running the hotel are so kind and welcoming, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, great food and lovely rooms. You are surrounded by the most tranquil and beautiful nature, and it's easy to get to Salento and the incredible Cocora Valley (which is a must visit). We cannot wait to return to this hotel. Loved it.
