We stopped in on a very busy day, it is the Sommer months here and so there was a long line of people waiting to get in. We waited almost a half hour to be seated. The tables are much too close together - our neighbors kept on bumping into us and we couldn’t sit comfortably. We asked to put our order in immediately since we had had plenty of time to study the menu and it took the server five passes to finally stop and take our order. We asked for lemon juice for our chicha and never got it. The owners are extremely friendly, but also a little bit overboard with the schmooze. We just want to sit down and eat not have you tell us all the great things about yourself. Let the food and service in atmosphere speak for itself. The food was decent, I like that they don’t use any MSG and Source locally. We had the patacones with Honey, (it’s not honey. It’s like a sugar syrup ) and it’s the only time I’ve had bananas that were breaded, and deep-fried, but it was tasty in a different kind of way. The leche de Tigre was really refreshing as well. We also got the breaded fish, which was very fresh and cooked to perfection. My friend got the mixed chaufa with seafood and really enjoyed it. Plates are big here so you can share. We would probably go back at a less busy time and request to have a table with a little more space around it so we’re not bumping into others.

This was a fabulous experience. Everything from the food to the service was excellent and fresh. If you're ever in the area of La Punta Callao, I would highly recommend trying out this family owned establishment.

The food was from another planet. The portions are immense and the flavors of the seafood were outstanding. Everything tasted like they just took it out of the water. Service was outstanding as well. Waiters were very attentive and my food arrived fast. I would come back to eat here a million times.

OMG!!.. what a great place to eat... my family and I went here as we have read a lot of excellent recommendations of the place , but it went over any expectations, the food was amazing. The mango cebiche is a most in here, as any other dish, the staff was incredible, ELIO was our waiter and he went above and beyond. Eating here was one of the highlights of coming to the Punta in Lima, Peru. Prices are reasonable for the food quality you are getting. Without any doubt 5/5 stars.

Great experience. Peruvian style food with a signature touch. Go for the bandejas and leche de tigre. The owner is a great guy and the service is excellent

Went with the two recommended options (Tricolor tiradito and Causa), supposedly award-winning dishes. Word is, it's Gastón Acurio's favorite seafood spot in Lima (aside from La Mar, I guess). Anyways, it was excellent – very fresh, with a notable wait time (1hr) on weekends. The Olivo was fantastic, outshining the others. I'd love to return and explore more options. This place, in my opinion, beats El Mirador – it's more affordable, with larger portions. You can't go wrong; just be ready to wait!

This place is a gem in the city of Callao. One if not the only place in the city where they blend the classic taste of peruvian food with other citruss tastes that make them unique.
