Went early and it was a bit quiet. Absolutely legit Peruvian food. Not mexified or turned into some sort of fusion. They seem to cook with the most authentic Peruvian ingredients one could find in there US! I have probably been to over 50 Peruvian restaurants in the US and this ranks at the very top! Only negatives were that it was a bit pricey (quality over quantity) and my beer was very pricey. Otherwise nice and clean restaurant with awesome food! Will be coming baby in the future!

We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a good dining experience. All the food items were good as well. The service could be a little better as the servers were not there, and we had to get their attention. They do provide a good quantity of food for the prices. It is a casual place, so definitely check them out.

As peruvian. I have to say they have traditional peruvian food. Excellent taste, no fusion with American. It's like eating in Peru. As soon as you come in they give you Canchita, with aji. Which is what we get in peru in cevicherias. We had carapulcra with sopa seca. Trio Marino ,.causa limeña. And papa huancaina

We had a great dining experience at La Caleta! The food was delicious, with rich flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The service was also fantastic! La Caleta might look a bit outdated, but that's part of its charm these days! Definitely recommend visiting!

I recently visited this Peruvian restaurant, and while the food was pleasantly acceptable, the service left a lot to be desired. The dishes were flavorful, and the flavors of Peru really came through, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor service. The server did the bare minimum and seemed more interested in staying distracted on his phone than paying attention to the patrons. It wasn’t very busy, with only three other tables occupied, so it’s hard to excuse the lack of attentiveness. Not once did there server return to our table to ask if the food was to our liking. I felt like I had to wave him down just to get his attention. Thankfully, the DJ and his Assistant kept us from having a worse experience. They did their best to keep the atmosphere lively and energetic. This kind of service really impacts the overall experience and is likely to deter more people from coming back. If they could improve the customer service, it would be a much more enjoyable place to dine and enjoy their late night entertainment.

This place has suuuuch delicious food! The waiters are very sweet and attentive and every time i’ve been there it has been a surprise! I tried cuy for the first time ever, which was such a surprise! Since I had a hard time with the head, they sliced it into pieces for me. My partner had the Seco a la Norteña meat and it was so so so soft and flavorful. I would go to this place every week if I lived closer.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a whim. We don’t know much about Peruvian food. Ok, we don’t know anything. But this is a really nice place. The waitstaff was extremely polite. And fast. And the one entree that she and I shared was delicious. The stir-fried chicken is great. A combination of rice, chicken, plantains, some sort of noodles (maybe based on egg??), and I have no idea what spices and seasoning. But it was wonderful. When we’re in the area we’ll surely stop back in.
