Found it difficult to find restaurants in this town so ended up eating here two of our four night stay.
Lovely interior and very good staff.
On the first night we ordered too much (generous portions). Also the food came too quickly for our liking.
On second visit ordered a dish to share then after a wait ordered a secondi and contorni to share, perfect. Would recommend.
Also does house red wine by the litre which was good.
Our favourite dishes were the pasta with n'duja and the pork plate. With coffees and water the bill came to 68 euros on our first visit and 58 on the second.

Located only 5 minutes from the main pedestrian street of Corso Garibaldi in Reggio Calabria. It is worth finding your way to this smaller neighborhood restaurant. We were greeted warmly by the staff who went out of their way to help English speaking customers when everyone else were locals. There is an English menu. This place offers both pastas and meat dishes. Portion size was generous. Food quality was high and served very hot. Authentic local flavors. A great selection. Not unreasonable prices. A half litre of the house wine only 6 euros. Pasta dishes were 10 - 14 euros. Nicely decorated place. If you want to eat authentic food like the locals, in a friendly atmosphere, this is a must try place! Edit: came back a second night - ask for the molten pistacchio cake for dessert!!!!!

Unfortunately i don't have the best experience trying italian food, i dreamed of going to a restaurant to try italian food, i ordered pasta with anchovies stroncatura, i couldn't even eat it with wine, it was very salty and the taste was like they mixed nutria fish in the sauce. i gave it to my husband i thought i felt the wrong taste, but he also said it was a strange bitter taste

Tasty pasta, very „meaty” place, be prepared to see limited vegetarian options.
Pasta is great, of course, every dish is rich, wine selection is very good.

Had two nights eating great food at this restaurant ! However, I would be interested to see last night after eating my partner and I had a very violent food poisoning episode all evening. I'm not saying it was from the food but I would be interested to see if anyone else has been sick. It has been very hot in Reggio!

Waiter was not pushy, well informed, and gave us an excellent wine pairing. He explained the menu very thoroughly and was very helpful. Service was quick and food was divine. We couldn't finish everything!

Yelp
Wonderful dinner. Highly recommend! Maccheroni with ragù Miele was incredible. Veal chop, bistecca and anatra were all well prepared and delicious.

Yelp
We had a fantastic meal here- really great if you're tired of pizza and pasta, as the menu is meat-focused (hence the name). We both had spectacular meat dishes (pork and beef), and a melted cheese appetizer that was amazing!

Yelp
Oops looked like I never reviewed this gem. A step up to the big boys table for the softest beef and veal you can find around this city. This crew takes your dining serious and provides A1 service to boot. Just sit down drink wine and order everything on the menu. Leave room for coffee and dessert. Much thanks to the crew! Be back in August...,,

Yelp
This was one of the most enjoyable meals of my life. 4 courses. Polpette miste then two pastas with local specialty ingredients, involtini di vitello, verdure grillate, fagioli, and gelato. We told the waiter to bring a local wine he recommended and my grandmother said it tasted the same as the wine her grandfather used to make. We sat there talking and drinking for 3.5 hours.
