Dined on 12th Feb- Cozy environment! Amazing food! Service was good! We only ordered 1 Faraonta and 1 Brasto for dinner as we weren't that hungry. The seasoning was to point! I even dipped my bread to wipe up the leftover sauce! It's finger licking! Yum! Definitely recommended!

Amazing in every aspect, the food, the wine and the service were outstanding. The staff new the menue and recommended the prefect wine paring for the meal. Not cheap but definitely worth it. One of the best Milanese risotto in Milan.

This was one of our favorite restaurants on our entire trip to Italy! It is definitely a "neighborhood" restaurant where they treat tourists just as well as the locals! We never thought we would be eating a meal at 10:00 at night, but we are so glad we stopped by! The risotto was amazing, the wine was fantastic, and the service was wonderful! We loved how the servers would stand on old boxes and chairs to bring bottles of wine down from the high shelves! Before we left Milan for a four-hour train ride, we stopped by here to see if they would sell us a bottle of wine for the trip! Not only did they sell it, but they uncorked it and provided cups! They are just the friendliest! I hope we get to come back again someday!

I honestly can't understand the four star rating we had lasagne and agnolotti and t was amazing. The service top notch and the waiter was brilliant speaking English and helping us with our Italian. Just so good!! The picture is all you need to see.

Where do the chefs eat? Here is one. Fantastic food and wine, right mix of tradition and nouvelle cuisine.

We had a wonderful time dining at La cantina Di Manuela! We started with aperitivo of wine and the house appetizer and sat outside on the street surrounded by neighborhood locals. It was so fun to see Valentino and his staff interact with all of the usual customers and get a glimpse into the life of living in Milan. All of the staff treated us so warmly and our server was so patient and kind as I attempted to practice Italian. Our server helped us pick the perfect bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon to pair with our meal and was very respectful of the price ranges we set. I cannot speak highly enough of the traditional Milanese risotto! After trying several at other restaurants in Milan I can say this was by far the best one we had and the flavors were layered so beautifully!! That alone made the trip to Milan worth it. We finished the meal with a wonderful tiramisu that left me wishing we had ordered two! Well worth the visit and stop!

This is the best meal we've had in Europe and we've been here a long time. They know just how to season their meat. We'll be dreaming of this meal for years to come. The menu wasn't in English which tells you they cater to locals not the tourist crowd. The Google translate app steered us in the right direction. So so good!

Yelp
I was walking around the city and was craving Spaghetti Carbonara, so I just typed in "best Spaghetti Carbonara in Milan" into Google, and luckily for me, this place popped up on the map, and I wasn't even 50 meters from it. How cool is that?! Talk about convenient! Well, I think I was meant to be there that night :) From start to finish, this was 5 Stars all the way! I hadn't been in Italy for a while and forgot how good simple bread with oil and aceto/balsamic vinegar could be. The menu mentioned they had one of the top risottos in Milan, so I was curious, but my all time favorite dish is Spaghetti Carbonara and they had that too. This is when I met Kevin, a very nice gentleman, who recommended the Carbonara, so of course I agreed. It did not disappoint! I've had spaghetti carbonara dishes in Florence, Rome, and multiple other places (too many to count) and this was one of the, possibly THE BEST, I've ever had! Strong flavor and crispy bacon that reminded me of American bacon, which you just don't see in Europe. For dessert, Kevin recommended Millefoglie which I had never heard of but it had berries with it, so I was sold. It was a crispy, flaky (pasta I think he said) that acted like a bun for the Chantilly cream and berries. It was very light and a nice finish to go after dinner. He also let me taste a dessert wine, which was a bit too sweet for me at first, but as I continued to very lightly sip it, it became quite delicious! I hope this review is helpful, though it's longer than I anticipated, but when you have a great dish and an even better experience, I had to write it all down! Will definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends when they travel to Milan! Grazie Mille, Kevin for the recommendations, and everyone for the great service!

Yelp
I have never gone to restaurants that are ad's on yelp, however I made an exception since Manuela had so many positive reviews and I was starving. I now remember why I had this personal rule in place. Everything I had was mediocre at best. I can easily find better Italian food in New York City. Though, staff did speak English, were attentive, and welcoming.
