The Best Experience! The place is a bit hidden, but that’s part of its charm: only true connoisseurs of good food find their way here. The view is fantastic and the décor is simply delightful. The service was impeccable—friendly, smiling, and always attentive staff. And best of all… the food! Exquisite from start to finish. The pasta and meat had a unique, juicy flavor with an authenticity that’s hard to describe. I highly recommend the desserts—absolutely delicious! I would definitely return many times—too bad I live in Spain! But on my next trip, it will be a must-stop. Thank you for such excellent cuisine 💚

Tuscan restaurant located in a beautiful, remote area. To access the restaurant, you have to take a bumpy, dirt road for a few kilometers. The food was very good, but our waiter really wasn’t up to par - lousy and disinterested. Thankfully, one of his colleagues, Silvia, swooped in and made up for it (Grazie!). Vast wine selection to pair with the food.

Very good experience overall — a hidden gem tucked away in the woods, truly in the middle of nowhere, which only adds to its charm. The highlight of the meal was definitely the pastas and tiramisu. We tried both the ragù and tomato sauce pastas — simple, traditional, and incredibly flavorful. Sometimes less is more, and that was definitely the case here. We also had a half-matured pecorino cheese and some tomato bruschetta to start — both were decent. Then came the tiramisu, and wow — it was fantastic. Creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced — probably one of the best we’ve had on the trip. The setting, surrounded by nature and far from the crowds, makes it feel like a true Tuscan experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good food and a peaceful atmosphere.

Amazing place, food and atmosphere! It's like in stories that comes true. The road may look like dead end, but is ok if you drive with attention. I can not describe the beauty of the place in words!

The views that you see here are very unique. I cannot capture a fair representation with my camera. The personnel is very welcoming and the food is great. I have visited twice with a wine tour and I am fascinated.

Beautiful setting, and the mezzelune ricotta with truffles was incredible. We didn’t have a reservation and were thankful to be seated for lunch on the drive from Florence to Siena. Unfortunately the service was really poor - we waited about an hour for our mains, which usually wouldn’t be a problem given the lovely view and atmosphere, but the waiter was very rude to us. I asked for advice on what wine to order and he ignored me and told me to leave it to him very abruptly. He told us very sharply when we ordered a second glass of a different wine that in future we need to get a bottle. He was abrupt in all interactions and we felt quite uncomfortable which was a real shame given the great location and some of the great food. We’ve been traveling Italy for the past 2 weeks and this was the rudest encounter we have had unfortunately. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to come here sadly.

Really nice spot with a great view over the vineyards. The food is good but not amazing. We had artichokes, ham & melon as starters and a pasta dish and tomino with porcini after. Good service

A family restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine in a magnificent rural setting. Well worth the trek down a rough unpaved road above the towns of Panzano and Greve in Chianti. Best to reserve a table beforehand as it’s very popular and some are turned away disappointed.

Beautiful views and one of the best meals I've had hands down. We ordered a pasta with red sauce for the kids. And a truffle tagliatelle for us. The balsamic steak was perfectly cooked and flavored. Pictures or words don't do this justice. Don't skip dessert - the soft cheesecake and perfectly warm chocolate cake were just the cherry on top. We are going back because one time wasn't enough.

Our best dining experience in Tuscany. Our driver suggested it and secured the reservation for us. The service was friendly! It was quiet at first but quickly packed up after we arrived for our 12:30 lunch reservation. We had the best table in the house. Food was good! Amazing views. Very long windy drive to get to. Thankfully we had a driver. I can't imagine driving there myself.

Amazing !! I saw this restaurant while watching you tube videos for Tuscany and I had to find it where this place was . A little difficult driving there but so worth it . Definitely make reservations, as I saw people getting turned away. Had my first real black truffle experience! The half moon raviolis were made by angels .

Our tour guide took us to this place, and I doubt that we would have been able to go there ourselves. One needs a car or an organized tour to enjoy both the food and the view of this restaurant. I ordered the Pappardelle with Wild Boar as the main dish for lunch, and the taste was wonderful. We sat outside and could see the spectacular scenery of the Tuscan hills covered with trees and vineyards. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

Having been here two times over 4 years.. I can say that it is only the first two. I will return and soak up the dreamy landscape. Absolutely amazing. Superb service. Perfect food. Gorgeous view. Off the beaten path and genuinely touching. ..also delicious.

Needless to say this restaurant automatically should have a 5 for location/ambiance, given that it is overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of Tuscany - but then again you could put me in a dingy hut with this view and I would give it a 5 so let me put aside this bias. The wine was delicious - we had bottles of the brunello and rosso di montepulciano. The food was very very good- largely because it's Italy and everything is fresh/delicious. I had the tagliatelle with truffle which was superb. My friends however were not blown away with their dishes but this was probably their own fault... if a menu has real truffle on it - you better order it. The service was pleasant but very very slow and there were a lot of cats lingering about. Slow service and cats - need I explain more? TIP- Reaching this restaurant involves 3-5km of offroading so be prepared and try to reach it earlier. We reached at 8pm and had a 3.5hour dinner, which was overall a wonderful experience but the 30 minute drive back to Panzano was a tad bit difficult in pitch darkness.

This was the first restaurant we ate at in Chianti and one of the best. Whatever you order will be amazing. Not easy to find.

One of the best meals in the Chianti region I've had to date. Also a great value for the price. The view is amazing as well - this is a must visit along with the winery next door if you can go (Fattoria e Villa Rignana - see my review). Notables: we ordered the pomodoro pasta which I had 1.5 helpings of because it was so delicious, and the truffle pasta with a healthy topping of shaved truffles. The pear cheese plate was also delicious. The T-bone steak was ok (Americans do steak the best hands down, also Italians like their steaks very bloody so ask for it well done to get it medium rare) but expensive for the price (50 Euro+), as was the mixed salad. Was too stuffed for dessert but they have an ice cream freezer where you can pick your own ice cream (at the expense of 5 Euro each). There is an adorable doggie that roams around the restaurant which is a nice distraction!

Excellent restaurant in the area. Superb meat and pasta. We went three times and it was always full, people love it. It's far from the paved route, But that does not become an obstacle . THE BEST!!!

This place is within question the coolest spot in the region. The food is top notch. The location. Although challenging to get to, is stunning. With rolling vistas of vineyards everywhere. Please check out the hours prior to going. I also saw that George Clooney has been there as well. Great place.

First, the view is absolutely stunning. Second, our meal was excellent: pasta ai funghi to die for, amazing pasta al salsiccia e truffa. Then we had the wild boar ragu that was also very good (less so than the pasta, but 4.5 stars). Overall, a great experience!

A beautiful place and although almost everywhere here is delicious, this place tops them also. Lots of friendly locals and just a wonderful place to enjoy un chianti classico with each bite. The antipasto to share is the best and anything with tartufo (truffles) is amazing. My husband had a smaller tagliata steak and it was cooked perfectly. The grilled vegetables were also a delight. Unfortunately, both times we could not fit in a dessert but a smooth limoncello.

We came here as part of a food and wine tour. The lunch was AMAZING! Five types of crostini, pasta, salad, roast potatoes, mixed grilled meat...wine, wine, and wine! It was all wonderful and the views are breathtaking.

The best experience we ever had! Truffels perfect! Cheese perfect! Tsgliata perfect! Wine perfect! Location perfect! Moltoooo grazie!!!! Wish I could go there again!
