We came here for lunch and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We started with beef carpaccio, rockmelon with ham, and mozzarella with tomatoes – all super fresh and full of flavour.
The pastas were excellent too, especially the short pasta with truffle and sausage, which was rich and creamy, while the tomato sauce pasta was simple but delicious.
The dry-aged Danish “Viking” steak was the standout – cooked beautifully, really tender, and packed with flavour, with a fresh garden salad on the side. We also shared a lovely bottle of local red wine that paired perfectly with the food. On top of all that, the setting is stunning and peaceful, and the staff were welcoming and attentive without being over the top. A fantastic long lunch in the Tuscan hills that we’ll definitely remember.
