The overall style of the restaurant complements the castle beautifully, and the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The staff were also friendly. However, when it comes to the food, it was really disappointing. The set menu is priced at €30 per person, excluding drinks, which is reasonable, but the presentation and taste—starting from the appetizers to the main course and dessert—were all a letdown. I absolutely do not recommend dining here. Just grab a drink and enjoy the ambiance instead. Hopefully, the quality of the food will improve in the future.

How could you not be impressed with Chantilly Chateau and the restaurant. Beautiful tender spot roast chicken and roast vegetables, just what is called for in a crystal clear winter day!

Very nice table inside restaurant , it’s casual , food is nice comes out fast but really came here to eat in the space ! Dessert was nice part of set menu … side veggies were good ! Chicken seems better than salmon

If you are visiting the Chateau and want to eat this is the default choice and as such does not have to try too hard to attract customers. Having said that the food was better than expected. We went on the lunch menu, the entrees were quite good but it was a pity my Taboule (or an interesting variation on it) was served straight from the fridge and was too cold. The Salmon main course was fine and the deserts a disappointment. Staff were friendly but a bit stressed by the rush.

They change their menu out seasonally, which I assume is why the reviews are so mixed. We came in winter and our food was delicious. The service was not great, but not terrible.. They kept forgetting to bring us silverware which was honestly pretty funny, and brought me the wrong dessert. It was still delish though lol. And the ambiance is nice

Chicken was very dry, but the salmon was OK. Quite crowded restaurant just under the castle. Starter and dessert were OK.

The service is incredibly slow. 30 min wait for the dessert that came with the kids meal. The pumpkin soup was good though. The kids chicken lacked flavor. Burger was fine.

I'm totally shocked that this restaurant has a series of 1 star reviews! You expect "museum" restaurants to be mediocre and overpriced. While it was expensive, the food was surprisingly good. We had a cheeseburger. Although we ordered it medium rare, it was more medium. The burger was fine, just expensive. We also had the special of the day, which was a shrimp and pea risotto. This was delicious and the risotto was cooked perfectly. My rating reflects the overpriced nature of the restaurant. The waiter spoke limited English. I would recommend this restaurant if you are on property.
