La Carinderia

Came with high expectations but they were not met. The waiting time was incredibly long (1.5h). Food looked good at first sight but was not ‘wauw’. The three pastas we ordered were good but rather average to a bit boring. Carbonara was the ‘best’ one out of the three. Nice environment though and friendly service.

We had dinner here one night and loved it so much, we came back for lunch the next day. The food is outstanding. The handmade pasta in the Spaghetti Amatriciana was spotted on, and it was awesome. I also loved their shaken lemon iced tea. A perfect refreshment from the heat.

We LOVE this place! We come here multiple times every time we visit Siargao. The lasagna is truly the best I’ve ever had. You cannot go wrong with any of the pastas. Ube tiramisu, calamansi tart and the mango panacotta are 10/10 as well. Just go!!

The menu posted on google maps is outdated, they have a new menu with more options. Hand made pastas! We really liked the croquettes, carbonara, and lasagna. Carbonara was authentic and tasted good, it didn’t use cream. The lasagna was very flavorful and liked how the edges were crispy. The Nduja ravioli was not bad, but was very rich, so cant have it on its own. Its better shared. We didn’t like the tagliatelle al funghi porcini, lacked flavor. Tiramisu was just ok. Consistency of their dishes needs a bit of improvement though, the first time we ate here was better than the second time. The guanciale of the carbobara and the edges of the lasagna weren’t as crispy during our second visit.

We had dinner here and the pasta was great! We had ragu bolognese and seafood pasta with shrimp. It was so good! They also had quality service and are very accommodating. One of the employee, Enrico, is your guy in the house. He serves well and attends to your needs. He communicates very well. Overall, the experience we had was perfect.

The food was good and well presented but considering the price, the portions were small and we still felt hungry after. They also surprise charged an extra service fee on top of that like just include it into the food price, what's next, you have to pay for sitting on the chair? You can get much more food for a cheaper price in other restaurants in the area without loss of quality.

What a lovely place- We stopped here for a late breakfast. Lowena was our server. She was friendly, helpful and she just did not stop - cleaning, polishing tables - she recommended a lovely desert Ube Tiramisu and it was divine!! Lovely atmosphere. Would certainly recommend this little place!!

We dined here every day during our stay, for 4 times. We kept coming because of the delicious food, the refreshing aperol spritz, and the great atmosphere and service. We tasted the pomodoro, bolognese, fungi, and the caramelle. Our favorites were the caramelle and the pomodoro. The pasta itself is perfecrly made and cooked, and the gravies are so rich and yet delicate. They even serve gluten free pasta! I felt like I was eating a great Italian chef dinner.
