Lovely Museum to visit. It's free to visit and when we went around we learnt a lot about their history in Lanzarote with the fab display of costumes, instruments, old props, books and magazines from the old days. It's very interesting to visit if you are nearby. The building is lovely and it's only a small walk around. The guy who was hosting was very welcoming and explained our way around before starting the tour.

I Was told by a nice lady 2 days ago that as a wheelchair user I would be able to enter the house from a side entrance . We returned today to find a very rude man in her place who looked at me and ranted something in Spanish and then walked away . My partner followed him to try and explain he eventually understood went around the side and said “It’s Kerpoot” I assume he meant broken . He then walked away and continued to pace up and down the road in front of the entrance. I found the whole experience very upsetting. As a capital city I would have expected better .

A beautiful romantic museum that periodically changes subjects of the exposition through new great photos and new interesting information on the history of Lanzarote. To my view a "must see" for a tourist in Lanzarote as well as locals of the island...

Wonderful small building always hosting interesting and well thought out exhibitions. This time Las Revoltosas, dedicated to women who defied the rules and created the first female "murga". Warm welcoming by staff.
