We love the fact that it is a 3 or could be 4 bedroom house so our kids can all visit at the same time. Right on the beach and walking distance to all conveniences. Very dated and needs a lot of maintenance ... better and more linens and towels.... better and more kitchen utensils etc....

I was passing through Mazatlan for one night and was looking for a room with an ocean view that was dog-friendly. This place came up online and I booked it. Nice surprise! A large bedroom with bath and walk-in closet, a kitchen larger than my own, dining area, living room with another bed, and a roomy balcony with a view of the ocean. The ocean can only be seen from the balcony, and it's not exactly panoramic, but it's nice. The wifi worked sporadically. Direct access to the beach. Very comfortable, I will stay there again.

Not a fancy resort type of place, but truly clean, cozy, and RIGHT ON THE BEACH. We stayed in the big house which is very roomy and only inches from high tide. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and refreshing. For a simple, relaxing vacation, this is it!

The location on the beach is great and the bedrooms have AC units. The living room in the beachfront building is hot/humid because of no air flow. The water is not filtered and you need to use garbage cans next to the toilet. The beds are dormitory style.

Location is amazing! The main living areas don't have air conditioning and the furniture and decor is very dated. The beds are very uncomfortable but the bedrooms do have a/c so that is nice.

I reserved the big house... 3 bedrooms very bad beds only a piece of soap in each bathroom a sawer odor in all of them... Beach is beautiful, sunset and sunrise are amazing... But personnel is the worst in the world... Security guards are very old man... They fall to sleep and there is not security at all... The maintenance guy looks like homeless and cleaning ladies are not customer service oriented... The worst part of all was that a thief broke into the house and stole our computer... This event happened between 12:00 am and 6 am when all my family was sleeping... The broke into the house from inside the hotel!!!! And when I went to report the incident... They just said "we didn't see anything!" And turn around and walked away... Computer is not the problem but a thief in the living room willing to take anything, willing to hurt every one standing on his way out... We felt very unsafe... We talked to administrator and she said "we will investigate and let you know the investigation report, we are very sorry, we will talk to our personnel" ... I have to say this is not enough... So my recommendation is DO NOT EVER EVER STAY IN LA CASA CONTENTA IT IS NOT SAFE!!!!!!!
