"Handicraft Shopping This shop offers a wide variety of high-quality handicrafts from all over Oaxaca . You'll find a room devoted to woolen rugs, one to woodcarvings, and several to ceramics. On my most recent visit, I couldn't resist picking up a "Catrina," one of the female skeletons associated with Day of the Dead festivities, as well as some decorative cut paper."

Fantastic, well organized market with all the major arts and crafts. Oaxaca is known for. More than one of our tour guides suggested this place for fair prices and high-quality work. We bought some delicate items, and they wrapped them extremely well for traveling. We would definitely come here again.

It was so nice to support this collective of almost 60 families. Congratulations on their well-deserved win for Dias de Los Muertos decorations. It was well-thought out and meaningful.

It’s a co-op of artisans who have their own space. It’s better to buy here than cheaper places where the traditional items may actually be from China! Give your money to the artisans directly! Plenty to choose from.

Great store with all variety of products in one place. It's a bit easier to browse and less crowded than the markets. We went here first, then to the markets thinking the markets would be cheaper, but to our surprise in many cases the prices we saw here were cheaper! Worth a visit if you're in this side of town.

It was a lot of fun shopping here. Lots of little interconnected rooms each with their own craft. Staff is super friendly and will take the items you want to buy to the front check out and sort of keep a tab going for you. It makes it easy to shop around and have your items waiting to be purchased all at once. Very affordable and price tags on everything.

You can find just about everything artesanía-related here — from colorful alebrijes and handmade leather goods to beautiful textiles, lucha libre masks, and even locally made chocolate. Honestly, there’s so much to see it’s hard to list or even remember it all. Whether you’re searching for a small trinket, a unique piece to decorate your home, or a practical everyday item, you’ll find it here. Sure, you can explore other shops if you’d like, but this place truly has it all in one spot. Well worth a visit!

The best alebrijes collection I’ve seen in Oaxaca City. I bought the best miniature owl one and cannot stop looking at it.

Big artisan market with tons of different souvenirs, jewelry, pottery, textiles, and more; proceeds go to local artisan groups; very affordable, takes card, and will wrap up your fragile pieces to travel back home safely! Don't miss out on this one stop shop.
