My experience at Casa de las Artesanías was truly unpleasant. From the moment I walked in, the staff’s attitude left a lot to be desired. There was a lady wearing a dress, but instead of offering proper service, they were indifferent and unprofessional.
They charged me $10 pesos!!!!!!!! to use the bathroom inside the store, which I find completely abusive for a business that receives customers. The worst part was that they sent the girl to tell us we had to pay, as if that were something normal. The way they handled the situation was uncomfortable and in very poor taste. In addition, the lady spent her time on her phone instead of providing proper attention. It is clear that they are not interested in offering good service, but rather in taking advantage of customers. I left completely disappointed and, without a doubt, I will not return.
It’s a shame that a place that should promote handicrafts and culture treats its visitors so poorly.
