"Handicraft Shopping This shop offers a wide variety of high-quality handicrafts from all over Oaxaca . You'll find a room devoted to woolen rugs, one to woodcarvings, and several to ceramics. On my most recent visit, I couldn't resist picking up a "Catrina," one of the female skeletons associated with Day of the Dead festivities, as well as some decorative cut paper."

Fantastic, well organized market with all the major arts and crafts. Oaxaca is known for. More than one of our tour guides suggested this place for fair prices and high-quality work. We bought some delicate items, and they wrapped them extremely well for traveling. We would definitely come here again.

Depends on what you get. I loved my tapete and ceramic stag. But the clay cups I got were not kilned - 3 of the six burst on the way home (despite being wrapped in bubble wrap) and the other three that made it leaked through the clay (again, because they were only bisque fired, not final-kilned). Makes it kind of worthless from a mug perspective. The other stuff was fantastic though.

It was so nice to support this collective of almost 60 families. Congratulations on their well-deserved win for Dias de Los Muertos decorations. It was well-thought out and meaningful.

The place is cool if you want Oaxaca’s special crafts all in one place. Little events you can go to, like painting alebrejes. In that activity you choose the animal and paint it. So many bugs. I got 4 bites and my friend got 19.

This store is packed with beautiful items! Home decor, clothing, jewelry and accessories. I stopped in for a quick browse and I couldn’t help but walk away with a gorgeous bag! At first I thought the store would be expensive but they have some of the best prices I have seen!

Beautiful regional crafts. Reasonable pricing on some stuff. Over priced on others. If you missed an opportunity in your travels you can find the item here.

Great store with all variety of products in one place. It's a bit easier to browse and less crowded than the markets.
We went here first, then to the markets thinking the markets would be cheaper, but to our surprise in many cases the prices we saw here were cheaper!
Worth a visit if you're in this side of town.
