Stayed 2 nights here. Beautifully located on the hillside at the entrance to the Colca Canyon, with stunning views from many rooms of the surrounding volcanoes — including the smoking Sabancaya — and down into the canyon. A great base for hikes in and around the Colca Canyon (including to some Inca ruins) or for visiting the canyon itself and the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where condor sightings are possible.||The terrace is wonderful for relaxing, reading, or simply gazing into the canyon. Drink prices are fair.||Rooms are very basic (no hairdryer, maybe available on request?), but overall full of charm — especially the main lodge, which has the cozy feel of a mountain retreat with a welcoming fireplace. We were particularly charmed by Tiago, the baby alpaca who was always hanging around us — absolutely adorable!||Breakfast was rather simple but fine. As there are no options for eating out, you probably find yourself with having unch and dinner there. Was once excellent, once good. Excellent, especially when served buffet-style — good variety and delicious flavors. The à la carte option was fine, but not as good as the buffets.||While the accommodation is quite simple overall, it’s clean, and the combination of its remote hillside location and genuine mountain-lodge atmosphere left a lasting impression. One of the most beautiful places we stayed during our trip. Because of the very basic room-setting 4*.

Nice views. Quiet. Few flies in room when we arrived and as we splatted them we found evidence of previous deceased flies! The heater in room has a gas flame (and as far as we could tell no carbon monoxide detector). The food was ok but not great.

There is a story about a princess that used to live in this hotel. When you go through the front door it is just so cute and lovely. The people are very polite and accommodating. |The food was amazing. We got homemade meals. The view over the valley was also very pretty. Especially with sunrise!!||Just a great place to stay! We would recommend ❤️

We stayed here as part of a tour through Colca Valley and it was a beautiful hotel. The staff were nothing but lovely, and the rooms were comfortable and warm even on a night that went below 0. Showers had great hot water and good pressure, views were incredible and the food at the restaurant was lovely. Can't recommend enough!

Hotel was beautiful!! We stayed here as part of a tour. Staff were all lovely, food was great and the view was incredible. We had buffet breakfast and lunch and al la carte dinner and it was all lovely. Room was nice and warm even though it was freezing outside. Great experience all round.

Went for lunch whilst travelling through.|Views are amazing. Had lunch served by staff all from the village, watching the view of the canyon. |Food was amazing plenty for vegans. We had a cooking lesson to make the local dish at the table.|If passing it is a great stop.

This lovely lodge was part of our organised trip. The rooms are lovely and bright with a little heater which was needed when we visited. The grounds are really nice, mountain views and a resident llama grazing by day. This place is out of the any city or action, so after your evening meal highly recommend going out and doing some star gazing, they were wonderfully bright with no light pollution in the area. The meals are all buffet style but are freshly cooked and tasty. The extra charges for wine were really reasonable which was nice. The wi-fi was a bit patchy but whip cares when you’re somewhere so beautiful.
