La Casa del Chicharrón

While I love most Mexican food, this particular dish was not for me. I loved ALL aspects of the dish except the main one - the pork fat. I had a similar dish in Colombia, but there the pork fat was fried and rendered edible. Here however; the pork fat was just tiny cubes of gelatinous adipose tissue. Nope. Not for me. Take out the pork fat and the rest of it is pretty damn delicious. The sauces, the candied sesame seeds, the thinly sliced ornamental avocado juliennes, the fresh carrot and cabbage, the smear of cream and (my favourite) the way the base-cracker slowly gets soggy and flavourful as you eat your way through the generous and well-priced snack - it’s worth one 20-minute wait in a fila (queue).

Not bad, but they can get them better. In my opinion, the chicharron once it gets wet it becomes a bit harder to bite. Too much cabbage and should have cueritos in a chunkier way. Te rest is ok. Sizes are perfect, and prices super! I would not mind to have corn on my chicharrones too.

It's cheaper and faster, the flavor is good, and the size too, It's a great option when you don't have much time and money.

Pésimo!! Servicio, atención y producto Eran mis favoritos hace unos meses, pero al parecer cambio de dueño y ahora son horribles, no tienen organización el tipo q despacha se la pasa gritando y hablando de forma déspota, y bueno el chicharrón horrible pura col mal picada y pasada los demás ingredientes brillan por su ausencia no compren mejor un helado o otra cosa

Ya no son señor chicharrón, son nuevos dueños y la verdad PÉSIMO TODO! La piña estaba echada a perder casi casi sabía a tepache y estaba medio café, no le ponen limón, los cueritos mal picados, la col en mal estado, en general todo mal, SOBRE TODO la organización, ahora resulta que primero tienes que pasar por tu turno y dejar pagado y después volverte a formar para que te lo den, no vuelvo a regresar. Estaré atenta al nuevo lugar de los dueños originales, porque esos estaban deliciosos.
