Food tastes OLD and reheated! The ambiance was gritty, sweltering, and noisy, which I don't mind, but the service left much to be desired. We had to take a menu from a nearby table and were served by a different waitress after our waitress vanished after taking our order. Ultimately, we had to settle the bill at the counter. The food, unfortunately, tasted stale and lacked freshness. The potatoes were lukewarm and unpleasant in texture and flavor. The meat breading was soggy, and even the tacos seemed reheated rather than freshly made. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

Friendly service and good food. Went in during an early evening rain. It has an older style interior than most places in the area but it was clean and comfortable enough.

This place was made famous by the movie "Roma", where Cleo and her friend meet their dates. The food was good, we had tortas de pavo asado and of romeritos (wild greens cooked in mole with shrimp and nopales). The server was very kind and brought us samples to taste. The only issue was the smell of oxidized oil that pervaded the place and made eating inside unpleasant for me. Take-away may be a better option.

Our waiter didn't do such a good job but you can really tell he was tired after an exhausting long day of work. Food was delicious plus the music was also beautiful. They don't sell any beer or liquor so drink before you show up!

A very good place to eat different taste tortas and some other dishes, more than 100 years open, gor that maybe the place seems sloopy but it's nice for sure.

Only came here to see if the story of the original cuban sandwich (torta cubana) was true. The food wasn't even that good and not worth the price, for the same amount I could have eaten somewhere else with better quality and service.

Yelp
I noticed this little boutique restaurant while walking along one of the many pedestrian walkways in the central part of the city. The ambiance of this restaurant is original from the 1950's complete with worn-out barstools and cafeteria style booths. The menu I dictates that this place was established in 1901! It's a rather small restaurant, but what they specialize in is only turkey. They offer no other type of meat besides turkey, and they have plenty of it! There were several options to choose from in the menu, but I decided to play it safe, and go for something familiar. I decided to order the pechuga de pavo con queso. This sandwich is not served with any side order of French fries, however, it's quite large and I believe it has filled me up enough for lunch and dinner! My Server was awesome, and she explained some of the other menu options. The sandwich was delicious, and even healthier than your average chicken sandwich that you can find anywhere. I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
This is an excellent little diner. Other than the food, the thing that I remember most was how good the service was, especially they were extremely busy at the time. I got the sopa with arroz, the chambarete de res, a soda de manzana. All told, came to 80 pesos, which is like 4 bucks. They even tried to stop me from overtipping, although I insisted.

Yelp
This place is the real thing. Excellent, fresh turkey sandwich, fast service, real mom and pop ambience! A delight and a bargain! I am proud the submit the first English language review!
