We had a delicious breakfast here. We ordered the homemade peanut butter toast and café de olla, both were amazing. Prices are very affordable and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. All the products are natural and organic, with no added sugar, which makes the experience even better. They open from 7am, perfect if you like to have an early, calm and relaxed breakfast. I honestly think I’ll be having breakfast here every day while I’m in Punta Zicatela. ✨

An absolute gem of a place! Right by the beach, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and relaxed. The staff are great and welcoming, and the food… honestly incredible. The fish tacos were the freshest and most delicious I’ve had in Mexico - full of flavour, beautiful fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked melt-in-your-mouth fish. I’m still thinking about them and I’m very sad I live so far away… I could eat them every single day! A must-visit in Puerto Escondido!

Absolutely amazing! Farm to table, fresh, full of flavor and 100% organic . The owner of this restaurant hand picks all of his produce each morning. I fell in love with their passion fruit / habanero sauce 🤤! - this restaurant is full of integrity , from their produce , to the diligence in their presentation of plates. There is another amazing location in Zicatela , inside Casa Badú - also amazing with two beautiful women there, ready with their kind and sweet smiles. My favorite is by far the fish tacos paired with the ginger/ passion fruit smoothie . Mind you, they put a whole avocado in each taco . Amazing! Chef’s kiss 👨‍🍳 Can’t wait to see that habanero / passion fruit sauce at Erewhon or whole foods one day 🫶🏼

Amazing food and best fish tacos! We had lunch there, with the option to have fresh fish served in 4 different ways. The menu is not long, which we liked, as this is a prime example of ‘doing one thing, but doing it great!’ . We had the tacos and the tostada and they were both amazing - super fresh and juicy grilled fish, fresh ingredients and the best sauces (highly recommend the passionfruit and the soya with the fish). Great juices as well. Moreover, the service was incredible and the place is spotlessly clean! Highly recommend, we will go there again!

Great fish taco and veggie taco, super fresh fish they get from local fishermen it seems, and flavourful veggie and quite big portions. The acai bowl is generous and contains a lot of fruit and nuts, so very nourishing too. The only thing missing is a bathroom there!

The best açaí bowl I’ve ever had! We came back every single day in Puerto — it’s that addictive and that incredible. Fresh fruits, the best homemade peanut butter, crunchy coconut… pure perfection in every bite. The team is amazing too; it’s a lovely family-run spot with the kindest people. Highly recommend!

Don’t go. Acai is heavily overpriced (250 pesos) and tastes mostly like sugar and banana (don’t think I have ever eaten an acai that sweet). To top it off, portion size is tiny and level of friendliness is non existent (you are being shouted at for wearing shoes ?!) also, why would you want to take off your shoes in a place surrounded by construction and muddy roads.

Really friendly, chilled place just off one end of the main strip, serving amazing fish dishes, including tacos, tortas and tostadas. I ordered two fish tacos for 200 pesos, made with grilled tuna steaks which were excellent! Highly recommended and way nicer than most of the big commercial fancy places on the Main Street.
