Spent 6 days here and I wouldn't recommend to a friend or repeat. The rooms are nice, it's super clean and location-wise you're about 45min - 1.5h from the east, north or west coast so good beach options. The village is super quiet, one restaurant and a café but lots of turns on the way there (usual for the island but worth noting) so beware driving back in the evening can be tiring. What disappointed us was the service. This hotel has 9.5 in Booking which is a lot so we expected a great experience. Unfortunately we felt like we were being told off for just being in the building, checked upon every night when we came home (the owner came in especially to check on us and point out something that wasn't up to her standards - a different thing every day) In general the owner's attitude resembled a stern teacher keeping naughty children in line and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. 1. Our personal belongings kept being moved every day by the cleaner - rearranged, put into drawers we wouldn't use, moved from one shelf to another, from the bathroom to the bedroom etc. We kept moving our things where it's comfortable for us to use but they kept moving them back where they thought our belongings should sit. Nothing was in the way of them cleaning and it became strange after a few days of having my skincare bag moved from where I left it and used it. 2. We were told off for putting our food in the fridge as we had to take out the water and cans of coke in order to fit it in. This is a 3* hotel, I expect to be able to use the fridge and water won't go bad in the heat. A note was left flagging our wrongdoing. 3. At check in we were asked if we'd like our breakfast at 8, 8.30 or 9, we went for 8.30 but the one day we asked to have it at 8 (to accommodate a boat trip) we had to beg and had a full on negotiation, being told how uncomfortable that is for the host, not possible and that we had to settle for minimal breakfast if we insisted. The breakfast is super minimal anyway, no fruit or veggies, a couple of supermarket cheeses, a couple of slices of toast and one croissant per person. You have to pay if you want a second coffee. All in all inflexible to make people beg for this as a lot of hotels would offer a packed brekky to support. 4. You stain the tablecloth while eating? It is immediately pointed out to you with a disappointed look and waved finger - not up to standard. 5. Were told off for some drips of water on the stone staircase when taking out our washed swimwear to dry. The stone staricase that is washed with water daily. The owner made a point of telling us off. We were the only people at the hotel at that point and the temperature was around 39 degrees so the water had evaporated by the time she explained the issue and made us apologise. 6. She genuinely came in every night to check when we've come in and to tell us off about l'issue du jour. We felt unwelcome and like we had to constantly apologise. This is a 3* hotel, I've never been treated like this in a hotel ever before and I think they need to address their attitude. Not professional, we left with great pleasure.

The hosts, Pina and Vanni, were engaging, helpful and very pleasant. Nuchis is an outstanding town to just relax, take walks, be amongst the locals and have a nice meal (especially at Ristorante Il Melograno). There are numerous little chapels to visit and there are several historic sites within a short driving distance. It is a nice place to decompress, enjoy the outstanding views and sample an interesting part of Sardegna. As noted in another review, the breakfast is tilted toward carbs/sweets (which I enjoy!) but others might prefer more fruits, etc. I believe that Pina and Anna do a lot of the baking and they do it quite well! Plus, the cappuccinos and caffes are quite nice! I thought the rooms, bed and air conditioning were just fine! The hosts also have some information that highlights local attractions and historical sites. They have typed this up in several different languages, which is useful since most of the other lodgers were from across Europe. Nearby, there's Tempio Pausania which has a variety of different restaurants and shops and a lovely tree-lined park. If you do visit the Nuraghe Majori site, please do check out the restaurant located there...especially if you enjoy grilled meats! I very much enjoyed my visit to Nuchis and La Casa Di Babbai!

I ended up here almost by accident (the location is quit random!), but I’m glad I did. The hotel is lovely, and the staff very friendly. Only the owners son speaks English. The building is oozing atmosphere, and the room was clean, bright and well appointed. The bathroom for a single room was massive. Breakfast in the morning was very continental, but got me through til lunch. The part gift of a few chocolates was very nice. Highly recommended.

This lovely hotel is in the narrow streets at the centre of the quiet, ancient village of Nuchis. The owner was extremely friendly, and recommended us a great route to walk in the woods, and a restaurant with wonderful food for dinner. We had a comfortable, well furnished room for the night, and a great breakfast in the morning. If you are staying in this area, this is a really good hotel in a charming village that really feels part of the local countryside, but is only just outside Tempio Pausania.

We found this place by chance. Loved the old building beautifully restored. Liked the fact no staff at night so it felt more like you were a tenant than hotel guest! Family who run it could not be kinder or more attentive. Loads of local info about things to see. Restaurant very near eg 3 mins walk. Lovely light room with tasteful decor. We found no negatives but a tiny area for improvement would be the breakfast. It was fine but the bread seemed from a packet and rather uninteresting. As we left we were given chox to take away which was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place.

This BB is in a lovely village in the middle of nowhere. We arrived in the afternoon and everything was very calm. I thought this would be a perfect place to sleep. I was so mistaken. In the evening the village became very lively. People and children were talking and screaming on the streets until the late hours. Then started the "show". Either there was a flaying-house near the village or stray dogs were wandering nearby, but the dogs were barking ALL NIGHT without break. We didn´t sleep a wink. In the early morning I wanted to close the windows and turn the air-condition on to have some sleep but the power supply for the air condition was cut-off. Breakfast was very poor. We stayed here one night for 95 euros. Very, very overpriced. Owners are very nice but they do not speak a word of English.

Very lovely couple that own this place, they waited for us up to midnight, it is a very small place but the bathroom is huge and the breakfast was very nice. I do recommend as a getaway from big towns

Cozy and clean. In quite and nice little village, with splendid small native restaurant in 2 mins walk. 5 mins drive away from supermarket/gas station/etc.
