La Casa (Tübingen, Baden-Wurttemberg) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"In this chic, upmarket hotel with a Spanish/Moorish touch, you will find that the rooms giving onto the interior courtyard are quieter. The service is friendly and the two-part leisure area is attractive with the light and airy Spa La Casa in the eaves and the attractive Arabian Bath hammam with its 1001 Nights decor. The restaurant serves regional and Mediterranean cuisine." - Tablet Hotels

Cozy Latino spot with real flavor and good vibes. The food was delicious—comforting and well-seasoned. Big props to Julia, the only server working, but she handled it like a pro. Super friendly and kept things smooth the whole time. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out.

We enjoyed our lunch. The vibe is so lovely, food was great. We had oxtail, Cubano sandwich (awesome!!) and cafe con leche. Price also reasonable coming from the eyes of Asians.

Cheap and amazing! You honestly can't find a better deal anywhere. It’s a tiny restaurant, but so worth the wait. The food was incredible—flavorful, fresh, and just hits the spot. Best part? You can bring your own wine and they’ll turn it into a delicious sangria with fresh fruit and juice—for just $15! Such a cool touch. The people working there were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Don’t just take my word for it—go try it yourself!

They need smarter people working here or it will cost them business. Came around 11 AM to get a steak and egg sandwich, I see that the meal with rice and beans is actually cheaper than how she charged me for the sandwich so I asked to switch and the lady was so confused, flustered, not mention aloof. She had the comprehension of a child, and no one wants to deal with this level of stupidity when trying to simply order food, especially when hungry. Also, I said it in English and I said it in Spanish so it wasn’t a language barrier, then she calls a manager wasting time im paying to park, to ask how to ring it up. Lady just charged me the $20 how is this request so difficult!?!?!? Just go to La Isla around the corner, the food is better and the staff can complete simple orders.

Total Score: 6.40 Bathroom: 4/5 Nice decor, but slightly icky. Customer Service: 3/5 I think there was only one person working and it was hard to get a hold of him when I finished drinking my water ☹️. Otherwise they were super nice. Ambiance: 5/5 Very colorful and vibrant. Loved the paintings and the floral decor!! Food: 2/5 Everything felts slightly off. The chicken I had was slightly dry, the empanadas didn’t feel fresh, the rice was seasoned weirdly. But food is food. The tostones were like eating cookies cuz they were also super dry. Wow: 1/1 The decor really wowed me! Total Score = BR + CS + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW

Google
I rarely write negative reviews but this is at the very minimum the third time I’ve ordered food from this place and have gone home to missing multiple items I have ordered and paid for. I really do love the food and drive over 45 min just to get this specific place because the food is very good. But at a certain point it is unacceptable to be this carless when packing food orders. This seems to be a common theme here and it’s a shame. I shouldn’t have to travel an 1-2 hours there and back to not have my complete order. Do better please.

Google
Food was greattt and reasonably priced. All entrees come with two sides and the options for sides are even more enticing. The only issue with the entrees is that not all of them are available on all days; you might fixate your mind on some dish only to realize that it's not available. But finally all that we got were not only tasty but the quality of the preparation was quite superior. Even the fried things do not at all feel oily and I had an entire steak but didn't feel overeaten. All over really a good food experience.

Google
Best Hispanic Food around. Nice little place with great service and an affordable menu. Highly recommend. The food was top notch and full of flavor. You can tell the food is prepped and seasoned well. Highly recommend the garlic shrimp and chicken specialty dish with rice. I also highly recommend anything from the lunch menu. Sizeable portion of food - actually enough to be split between two people. If this is your first visit, try to sit in and eat. Taking the food to go doesn't have the same effect. Inside is small though so it can be a bit uncomfortable during popular times.

Yelp
The food here is amazing! I had the Mongo and chicken. Their Mofongo is the best I have ever had. The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Though it is a small restaurant, it has a great ambiance for a dinner date. The staff was also attentive.

Yelp
This restaurant has become a go-to for me since moving to Hoboken. I became a "regular" once I tried the Guava Cheesecake, what I think is the best damn slice of cheesecake available in town! My usual order includes fresh made-to-order iced coffee that never fails to wake me up, it's some of the strongest brew in town rivaling hip cold brew shops. The empanadas are home-made and a must-have before I go into work. There is a beautiful dining room with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. They have lunch specials available with a variety of choices that change daily. I love coming out to eat with friends here since it's BYOB and they offer amazing sangria mix. The customer service is excellent, you will feel welcomed and taken care of every time. I have interacted with every staff member visiting frequently and everyone is always on their A-game.

Yelp
Food was cold. Steak had no seasoning. Waiter brought over salad dressing in the plastic Wish Bone bottle from the supermarket (needs refinement). No bar, BYOB.

Yelp
Delicious cuban food!! Got the ropa vieja with both black and yellow arroz and maduros. sooooo yum. I would opt for the black arroz over yellow when i go back. Service is so down to earth and accommodating. It's very very dark in here and there are maybe about 16 seats total in the whole place. Definitely would only ever go for parties of 1/2. food was better than the cuban imo

Yelp
I would have given this restaurant five stars if I were there only once. Second time my husband got food poisoning from some bad spicy mayonnaise from this place. He suffered from it for a week before getting back to himself. This place is very small, can probably fit 7 tables. If you are out there around 6 over the weekend, chances are you won't get a seat. So forget about it. You need to be there around 5, at least that's when the first time we went and we're able to be seated right away. Service is good. Servers are pretty friendly. The only thing I don't like is the spicy mayonnaise which causes somewhat a tremendously bad experience for my husband.

Victor Q.

Yelp
It's dependent on who is the cooking!!! The ambience is tight. I don't like the service on the sidewalk, this is a tight block with a lot of people passing through, the space needed!

Yelp
I popped into La Casa on a random Wednesday afternoon around 12:30pm to meet a friend for lunch. She was in the area interviewing for a job and I wanted to catch up with her. It was a little full, but we managed to snag a table for 2. We split an order of the yucca fries, which were fantastic. Spicy mayo dip was A+. I had the ham croquetas, ham, and swiss cheese sandwich and it was fire. It combined two of my favorite things when I have at a Cuban restaurant into one. It was so good. I will now dream about this sandwich. My friend had a shrimp sandwich and it was a huge sandwich. We were both stuffed by the time we finished. I will definitely be back to try out some of their other items. I know for a fact my husband would the mofongos.

Yelp
The fact that a cake already went bad was sent via DoorDash delivery... ugh it's heartbreaking and worrying - ordered for a visiting Latino friend who wanted to try the restaurant for its high review but she could have got food poisoned. We decided to leave a review/reminder here just to make sure people like us who are too busy to dine in could be aware of such situations :)

Yelp
If you are a hungry person, like I am, I would strongly recommend you to go to this place immediately. After walking for an hour or so, in the cold, trying to find an apartment I came here with my friend. The place is warm and cozy, and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. You could access the menus on your tablet and they are pictures to each item as well. I ordered the Tostones and the salad and the vegetarian Mofongo my friend had the chicken plate. We also ordered the empanadas to go. I will definitely come back here again especially if I live in the area.

Yelp
We had actually stumbled upon this restaurant as we came to find something also nearby. The place is pretty small and when we arrived there was one other couple there. We were brought lemon water and a menu that was on a tablet. We then placed our order. My partner got the carne guisada with a side of veggies and fries. I got the order of pernil with rice and beans, with a side of yuca frita. While waiting for our food a few more people walked in which then made the space feel extra small, the walkways are very narrow. It almost felt like there was no privacy or personal space. We got our food and I personally enjoyed what I ordered, especially the sauces they bring to your table. My partner on the other hand felt like his food was cold. He also mentioned that the food was okay overall. Nothing mind blowing. The food portion did feel like a lot, I had quite a bit of leftovers. I will note that the containers they gave us for our food were pretty small (I didn't ask if they had bigger sizes) and I was worried the food wouldn't fit, but it did- barely.

Yelp
Super a cozy place romantic with flowers and great decor. The food was delicious mofongo de shrimp in creamy sauce was everything. My husband had the churrasco with congri was perfect. Our waiter was polite and kind. The lemonade amazing !!

Yelp
Visited on May 1st around 7:30pm and placed a to go order. I paid for my order with the young lady behind the counter and proceeded to wait for it to be ready. The guy behind the counter who is the manger(Always wears a baseball cap and glasses) blew his nose and didn't wash his hands. Then a customer came in and asked for 2 empanadas and he went right over without washing his hands or any gloves. Disgusting Will not be going back Hope someone watches the cameras to see him in action

Yelp
I was craving mofongo and my friend suggested this place around the block from hers. It was so good and hit the spot for me!! We walked in ~8pm on a Friday and there were a few tables open so we got to choose. The decor was fun and I really liked the wall tiles here. Service was fast! I got the Mofongo De Camarones and Yuca Frita - both were exactly what I wanted. There was so much food leftover I had enough to go for a late night snack and a leftover lunch the next day. Just a note that the mofongo got really hard the second day and took quite some microwaving to get soft, so definitely try to finish that the same day if you can. Next time I'm around, I'm gonna stop by again and check out the other items on their menu!

Yelp
I love this place. The food is so good and they have these 3 sauces that they give you with your meals which just provides that extra flavor. We usually get the chicken sandwich, the grilled chicken steak with rice and beans. We love their Yuca fries with their white garlic sauce. In addition, they also have freshly squeezed orange juice too.

Yelp
I visited this spot this afternoon with some friends. I had high hopes since I had been here about a year before. Service: The staff told us there was an hour wait ahead of us as soon as I asked for a table but no one else was outside. The server was also little snarky when she took our order (she did not take time to answer our questions about the menu and started cleaning up our dishes before we were done with our food). Food: Three of us got the pollo y camarones al aljillo, probably the only thing to get here. We were put off by the limited selection of the menu (many dishes were only served on Tuesdays and Thursdays). Pictured here are the fried calamari and churrasco y camarones. Overall, the food was tasty. The churrasco was a little expensive in my opinion and left us feeling taken advantage of. Ambiance: The restaurant itself has a charming look but it is very compact. I recommend coming here with a party no larger than four people. Takeout the pollo y camarones from this restaurant, the only saving grace here.

Yelp
This place is PERFECT. I was blown away which is not so common. The inside is small but has a very intimate and inviting vibe that lured you in. Beautiful paintings, brick walls, florals ...a perfect date night spot. The food was AMAZING. We had every empanada and croqueta to start and they were mouthwatering to say the absolute least. For an official appetizer, we ordered calamari which was delicious and not greasy or too much breading. We also had the soup, breaded chicken, plantains and rice. Even the rice was phenomenal....I mean it's just rice but cooked so well! These people know what they are doing. Authentic flavors, perfectly cooked and served with a charming smile by Henri. We ended the night with a silky smooth flan. This place is BYOB where you can bring your own wine so they can make sangria. I'll def be back with my wine .
google avatar

Yelp
The atmosphere is super welcoming. The host let us in with 10 minutes to kitxhen close. We party of two shared the pollo with fried plantains, yucca and frijoles con arroz. Super light food for the night. Definitely recommend for great Mexican food in Hoboken.

Yelp
After 2.5 years of not having La Casa because I moved out-of-state, what a treat it was to come back and relive one of my favorite experiences from living in Hoboken. Going to La Casa has always been a joy: from seeing old faces like Melvin and Alan to eating the fantastic food and dessert, I wouldn't trade having a meal at La Casa for anything else. Really can't wait to come back again before leaving NYC/NJ so we can catch Russell, Henri, and Orlando! If you have any hesitation going to La Casa, just take the plunge and do it. Our first time here was when it first opened. Now, it's a staple for us whenever we find ourselves back in the city. We'll be counting down the days for when La Casa decides to open a franchise in Milwaukee. I would be lying if I said that La Casa isn't one of the reasons why I want to match back in NYC after medical school, so I can easily come back here once a week! Food: 10/10 Service: 100/10 Dessert: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10

Yelp
Always delicious food. Occasionally if the owner is there he will chat and is nice. When our orders are large they do forget a side or two but otherwise, really love this place!

Andrea C.

Yelp
I order a Mofongo con chicharrón, empanada con carne, Inca cola and flan and everything was really good. Customer was great and fast services. I really recommend this place. I will definitely come back.
google avatar

Noel E.

Yelp
All of the food tasted amazing. It's byob so brought Prosecco and they have this really good fresh squeezed orange juice for mimosas. And the service is very courteous
google avatar

Patrick F.

Yelp
I'm thinking of moving to NJ just so I can eat here all the time! Popped in for lunch after seeing other reviews. It was way better than even its best review! Small, charming place with an obviously big local following. I had the mofongo and empañadas. Both were off the chart delicious. Fresh, flavorful. Lick-the-plate good! Service was welcoming and polite. Really terrific experience. Go there immediately!!! You'll thank me later.

Yelp
Came to La Casa on Easter Sunday afternoon with three other friends. This place is absolutely stellar in both the service and authenticity department. Food was great and came out very timely. The flavors are all there along with an assurance that nothing you are getting is prepared days ago. I Wouk certainly recommend this place for a date night (bring your own wine) as they make sangrias as well. La Casa really does feel like home
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
I love la casa! The food always tastes so fresh and authentic. I also love the fact that they'll make sangria with the wine you bring. We got the steak this time for the first time and it was perfectly grilled. The service is great and the food is exceptional.
google avatar

Yelp
Ropa vieja was just OK. I thought portion was small for the price. Its OK for a quick lunch.

Alexa F.

Yelp
Amazing place. Food was fresh, service was great, just a smaller spot. Good vibes and I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I catered from La Casa after eating at their restaurant once and it was the highlight of my party! Everyone raved about the flavor of every dish. I got full trays and still had so much left over (yay me - lunches and dinner covered this week!). Everyone had seconds as well. There was 18-20 people and I ordered the below trays: Rotisserie Chicken (thighs and drumsticks) Ropa Vieja Arroz con gandules White rice Pernil (1/2 tray - but still had leftover) Red beans Black beans Empanadas (beef, chicken and cheese/guava) Quantity, Quality and ease of ordering
google avatar

Ayanna F.

Yelp
STANDING OVATION! We ordered a straightforward meal of yellow rice, black beans, a veggie sandwich, a cheese and guava empanada, & a salmon salad (whichever one has mangos). WHYYYYY was it all so good?!!! Portions are MASSIVE, & there's plenty of outdoor seating. It also appears to be BYOB. If I could eat this for every meal I'd be in Heaven! The veggie sandwich was just veggies on bread- not filling, so skip this. The guava & cheese empanada was so satisfying and balanced! Very filling, this could be half of your meal alone. Salmon salad had no dressing at all and didn't even need it. SO good, and the shrimp was so crispy that I could even eat the shells. Maybe my first time ever... Amazing. Rice and beans- you only need to order the yellow rice, it already has beans in it. But yeah, so good that this should be a staple in your life.
google avatar

Melanie C.

Yelp
Amazing and authentic Puerto Rican food!! Restaurant has great ambiance, perfect for a date night or small group of friends. Very welcoming and attentive service We ordered the tostones rellenos with shrimp, pollo asado with arroz con gandules and plantains and churrasco mofongo. Everything was delicious but the monfogo was a standout dish! Planning on coming back soon to try more menu items
google avatar

Emily N.

Yelp
My favorite Latin restaraunt in the area! The portions are huge, and it always smells like chocolate cake. you need to try this place, it's amazing.
google avatar

Krizia C.

Yelp
Love this spot! Feels like home. Classic Cuban and Dominican dishes.I've only come for breakfast so I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but food and service was amazing. First off, many Latin places put cafe con leche on menus and it taste nothing like how it supposed to. Taste like a latte. Not here ! This place knows how to make good Latin coffee. Tostada on point! Flattened with the bread presser and great balance of butter and crispness! Fried eggs and bacon on point. Tortilla on point. Classic good tasting Latin breakfast. Empanadas, amazing. Get the beef and the guava y queso. Shoutout to the staff because they are attentive, kind, and fast.

Yelp
La Casa has officially become 'The Restaurant' we will visit often! It's literally a hidden gem! Cozy and romantic! It's a small first come first served business that fits about 15 to 20 guests but the details and service are superb. Most importantly the food was impeccable!!! The hubster and I went with an empty stomach bc I had looked at the menu prior and new what I wanted to try... I'm a fat kid at heart! To start we ordered the guava & cheese empanadas (sweet and savory) and the stuffed plantain cups with garlic shrimp- so good perfectly seasoned shrimp and the perfect crispy toston! For the Entree I had the famous pick based on reviews lol... the Chicken and Shrimp in garlic sauce with yellow rice and pigeon peas and fried yuca. It was absolutely delicious and the portions are massive lol! Wanted to finish and devour it all but needed room for dessert. The husband had the Grilled Skirt Steak and Grilled Shrimp with pigeon pea yellow rice and sweet plantains which of course I took a few of. ;) Last but not least we couldn't leave without trying their dessert. I had the guava cheesecake - the best creamy, sweet and tangy cheesecake I've had in years. And he had the tres leches cake. He raved about how delicious the food was and so did I. Don't forget it's a BYOB! We brought our own and for $12 they make sangria for you! So perfect! Can't wait to go back! Thank you!
google avatar

Tian G.

Yelp
Their food was so delicious! Well-seasoned and not too heavy. The portion is really good given then price and the location. Their staff was also friendly. Was not expecting such a great and filling dinner. Thanks for the great food!

Yelp
It's my second time here, and this is definitely a top notch spot. Henri served us for the second time as well. Customer service is top notch, as everyone that works here is paying attention if you need assistance. The food is excellent! The flavors scream Latin cuisine and that the food was made with love. If you're in the area give this place a try if you want some good food. Best, Eric

Yelp
May have been the best dining experience I've had in my life. Everything was beyond a 10/10. The place is small and unsuspecting from the street but when you peer in, it's a darker cozy dining environment that only seats about 18 people in tables and 5 people at the bar. Its smaller but it doesn't feel squished.. it's cozy. It's decorated for Christmas right now so that totally added to the vibe. The staff was nice and helpful right away. The menu doesn't have any alcoholic beverages but the place is BYOB and they will make sangria if you get the wine. The water they serve is automatically lemon water (ok, tyvm). We started with tostones rellenos and my GOD they were the amazing. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside plantain cups filled with a light and delicious tomato, onion, garlic etc that was warm and so so good. Then we shared a Cuban sandwich - bessssst Cuban I've had, not dry, great flavor - and the Chicken and Shrimp in garlic sauce - sooo flavorful and creamy but light. The yucca fries and plantains that we had as sides were perfectly cooked and the yucca fries weren't too hard. Every other time I've had them they weren't near this good. Safe to say we're only here for 3 weeks but will be back at least 2 more times. The most delicious meal I've ever had.

Yelp
Only ok nothing special Was looking for a more elevated experience based on the positive reviews

Danny S.

Yelp
Great food and attentive server. I had the oxtail, my wife the garlic shrimp and son the grilled pork chop. Sides were white rice, maduros and tostones. Will definitely come back.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Which is hard to believe since it's a block from the Path train, but it blends in and is easy to walk by over and over without ever trying. Don't make that mistake. Try it. Entree portions are very generous. Food is delicious. Service is great. Coffee is amazing. My fiancé is Puerto Rican and she says the food is authentic. I got the chicken with garlic cream sauce & spinach and I am happy I did. Tried some of the mofongo also and it was tasty. A nice touch is the sauce they have on the table. Something like a chipotle mayo? Whatever it is, I'm a fan.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Would give it a 3.5 to be honest besides the cuban sandwich which that was a 5 star sandwich!! Churrasco: 6/10 too greasy and not tasty and the plantains were burnt Cuban sandwich: 10/10! Only yummy thing from that meal tbh
google avatar

Yelp
After a weekend after in Long Beach Island, we come here and it was such inviting place even though we were casual post beach looking . Unfortunately, I have been ordering slightly boring lately because I'm on keto diet but my boyfriend ordered the award winning dish! Shrimp mofongo , one of the tops ones I have had outside of Puerto Rico!
google avatar

Yelp
If you get anything from this review it should be this - try the guava and cheese empanadas! They're amazing, and a couple of them make a great lunch. I had dinner at La casa on a Thursday night around 5:45pm and they were able to seat us immediately, although it is a small restaurant. We brought a bottle of wine that was 3/4 full and they still made us sangria with it, which was very yummy! I assume they add juice and fruit - it came out great! I had the chicken and shrimp in garlic sauce, which came with two sides. I got veggies (which I wouldn't get again, they were just regular) and the plantains (which were delicious)! The portion sizes are huge! I'll definitely be having my leftovers for lunch. The value is amazing, if you're in Hoboken I recommend trying it out. Just a note that only the downtown location is BYOB, not the uptown one.
google avatar

Yelp
Always a wonderful time worth a good amount of food. Very affordable and cool inside. Love this place as Amy go to when I'm in Hoboken

Yelp
4.5*s Every time I had walked past La Casa, it was packed both inside and out, and I continually would complain about how I simply needed to try it but kept forgetting. Well, I finally made it there and loved it!! We sat inside and praised the cozy atmosphere and authentic paintings on the walls. Our friendly server handed us tablets containing their varied menu for us to navigate. We had missed the fact that the restaurant was BYOB and would make sangria with your wine, but we will definitely keep that in mind for the future. The food was made-to-order, so it took a bit of time to arrive, but it was surely worth it. The portions were huge, and everything was extremely flavorful. I opted for the Grilled Chicken and Shrimp combination plate and simply loved how well-seasoned both were. The massive chicken breast had been pounded thin, and they generously provided 6-8 shrimp. I was also entitled to 2 side dishes and selected the Vegetables of the Day and Yellow Rice with Pidgeon Peas. The veggies happened to be broccoli and carrots, but these had been cooked in a garlic and herbed oil, making them really zesty and interesting. The large mound of rice and peas was made even more enjoyable, when I poured the white garlic sauce (in a bottle on the table) over it. My boyfriend had went with the Sirloin Steak with Onions. Given that the meat was topped with a hefty dose of sautéed onions, they wisely kept the steak on the milder side flavor-wise to allow the caramelized rings to add their kick. He also went with the yellow rice, but selected fries as his second side dish. Both of these meals cost only $15-$20 and were extremely satisfying. From the food to the atmosphere to the affordable prices and large portions, La Casa was a great find!

Yelp
Wow! VERY impressed with La Casa!! We tried their Garlic Chicken and I had shrimp with mine. We got a side of the fried eggs. So I've had La Islas garlic chicken and La Casa is WAY better!!! I love all of the fresh garlic and herbs! Shrimp and chicken was cooked perfectly!! Tender. Chicken was easy to pull apart. Just wish the chicken was a bit thicker! It's pounded pretty flat. Otherwise highly recommend!! The spinach is cooked in with the delicious sauce and tastes so fresh. Absolutely LOVE this dish!!! The side of two fried eggs were also cooked perfectly and perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper. I love that this is a side option. Very good. Fresh. We also ordered the iced americano. We are SUPER impressed!! Best iced americano in Hoboken thus far!! You gotta try one if you love americanos!! Excellent espresso!! Gorgeous flavor! We will definitely be back to try more items off the menu!! The owner, Russell is also great!! My boyfriend also tried their coconut cake, made from scratch there. It's very moist and so flavorful!! He said it's an excellent cake 10/10! Wish I could try it!! (It's unfortunately not keto friendly lol). Highly recommend trying this place!!! Prices are great too! Great quality, fresh foods.

Yelp
Excellent service! The food was great and the ambiance was on point. A great intimate spot for a date night.

Roxana E.

Yelp
Cuban sandwich- very good. Our work colleagues place orders every now and everyone is happy with their lunch.

Yelp
They are small and have an hour and a half table turn policy. Keep it in mind and you will have a great meal.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! I came here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend for date night and was not disappointed at all! The restaurant is small, intimate, and decorated very nicely. The lighting is very dim each table had a candle. When we arrived there was a couple of tables open and we had the option to choose where we wanted to sit. Once we sat down we were given two menus which were on a tablet so you can see what each entree and side looks like. They don't have alcohol but it's BYOB and who doesn't love that?! To start we ordered two beef empanadas which were crispy and seasoned very well. For our entrees we ordered mofongo with fried pork and pernil with rice and fried yuca. Everything was seasoned well and portions the are generous. The only thing that needed a little more salt in my opinion was the mofongo. Overall, I highly recommend coming here. The prices are inexpensive, it's BYOB, food is great, and it has a very romantic feel to it.

Yelp
This is one of the top 3 spots in Jersey City and Manhattan for Cuban fare! I stop by La Casa whenever I crave mofongos, maduros and even just a cubano. The food is absolutely delicious! And the staff is very attentive and sweet. Don't forget to try their table sauces and pack away a tres leches cake :)
