This is one of the best places to have an authentic Italian bite in Neustadt. Feel free to order any pizza. They are out of this planet!. Their food is worth every cent.

Horrible service. Worst of all restaurants I've been in Dresden.

After hearing many recommendations from friends we went as a party of four to eat dinner at La Casina Rosa. In short, we were very disappointed, the food was average at best and the waiter was arrogant to borderline rude. I had some decent smoked-salmon pasta but it was much to spicy without even mentioning the green-peppers in the menu. My wife had a very expensive fish plate (~24€) which was very plain and disappointed her. The waiter was alone, but it wasn't very crowded and he was quite slow with us while finding time to chat with the italian family on the next table and even blow up some fireworks outside the restaurant...We went there on new-year's eve, so maybe they were understaffed but this is what happened to us...

1 star is probably too much. Friends told me this place was supposed to be good, but overall it was just disappointing. The food was average, the service terrible - basically it took way too long to get food that was horribly overpriced and solala. Safe yourself the hassle and go down the street to Vecchia Napoli instead.

Took a delivery pizza and it was definitely one of the best in Dresden. However, more expensive than other places and you miss out on the nice atmosphere in the restaurant itself.

Great Antipasto, especially Vitelli Tonnato. Pasta best i‘ve had in Dresden so far. Only Italian was spoken in the kitchen. Best thing might have been the service - rare moment of „nothing to complain about“. Wines were okay. Pasta + Pizze cheap, secondi rather expensive. Will come back. Liked it a lot.

One of the best places in Neustadt to have fish. The pumpkin shrips soupe is something! The meat and pizzas are also really good. They also have great soundern Italy wines for decent price.

3.5 stars. Multiple sources raved about La Casina Rosa, so we made it a must-go during our Dresden trip. Without reservations, we knew to go later in the evening (~9 PM), and luckily, we were able to get a table from a no-show. La Casina Rosa is a small place, no more than 10 or so tables. The ambience was comfortable and intimate, and with the wall painting of what looked like Tuscany, one could imagine having a decent Italian meal. The server was friendly but slow in attending us. We ordered a house salad, "Pizza Casina Rosa" (tomato, mozzarella, spinach, garlic, and parmesan), and "Tagliatelle alla Molisana" (lamb, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and rosemary). The food was nothing out of the ordinary, but it was delicious. I love the combination of Molisana. The unfortunate mishap came when our server completely forgot our salad. We could have forgone the salad, yet we still asked for it when our entrees came. Instead of bringing the salad during our meal, the server brought it after we finished our dishes. It was literally having salad as dessert. That was a first for me. After the salad, the server didn't come back to check on us for anything else, so after some time, we forwent the actual dessert, paid our bill, and left. Perhaps this place is overhyped or we just had an unusual experience.

We ordered the 4 cheese pizza and pasta tagliatele which were both good. The pasta was with meat that was too cooked and the dish was pretty small but still really nice. Prices aren't too high and the restaurant was completelly full. We would recommend especially because it is outside of the touristic area and just nice to feel you eat like a local. Service was nice..no English though
