La Casita de Boudhanath - Spanish Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Visited this place after seeing mydarlingfood's post. We ordered the Non-Veg Tapas Platter and the Chicken Paella. The tapas were quite nice, and the paella tasted really good too — no complaints on the flavor! But the portion size was so disappointing 😭😭. We were three people, and it was barely enough to share. La Casita never disappoints. Hands down the best Spanish tapas in Nepal, in the most magical view of the Boudhanath stupa. And for those still dating—it just might be the most romantic spot in the city. Book in advance if you really want to be here!

This was the perfect place to enjoy the sunset on Boudhanath, with a glass of wine and truly delicious tapas. We ordered the veg tapas platter and the pan con tomate + jamon and both were some of the tastiest food we’ve tried in the Kathmandu area! The special that day included desert if you order the tapas platter and it did not disappoint. The staff was also lovely and attentive. It was a little pricey, but worth it. Highly recommend to enjoy a view and great food!

Great service from the three ladies. We did a quick takeaway after a long day of traveling. They really took care of us while waiting by giving us water as we enjoyed the magnificent view. We took away mushroom tacos and it was still very delicious after taking back to the hotel. Thank you

Hot Chocolate!!!!! If you or any close person is fan of hot chocolate, then this place is highly recommended. While enjoying best view of Stupa and devotee chanting for their peace, i ordered same beverage for second time as well and since then, this place has been one of my go to place. Was not fan of hot chocolate but now i am.

Well located within perimeter of Bouddha Stupa. Great view from restaurant and very attentive staff. Only downside is bit too steep on price.
