Place is great! It is as described. Antique, family house with a lot of history. They have accommodating staff and good communication before, during, and after the booking. Great for big groups. Went on a Friday night so we heard some noise from the night life close by. Not sure if it’s like that everyday. Beautiful house though!

Our prepaid booking was cancelled by the property/owner without any communication whatsoever. Nice way to disappoint a couple of seniors who were looking forward the the experience. It's a good thing we booked through a popular travel site, so promptly refunded. Travelers beware.

We had our friends’ bridal party here and it was lovely! The character of the home makes it all the more charming, great for photos too :) We just had a problem with the water in the rooms during the night, but our overall stay was great! Ate Jena was especially nice and helpful during our stay :) Thank you so much again!

The home was well kept and the staff was accommodating. The charm of old Metro Manila lives in this house and in its homey corners. Because the house is old do not expect it to look like a super polished hotel. It is a well loved and lived in property, which means the space is storied. We all slept comfortably in our own rooms and having an en suite in every room was the best thing. We were able to heat up our traditional Christmas food and make it a homey celebration even if we were away from home. We haven’t all lived under one roof in a long time and being together for three days felt like a celebration of our childhood. Thank you to La Casita Mercedes for accommodating us.

We enjoyed our stay in your humble home. Thank you for accommodating us despite of the current situation. The host were easy to communicate. The house itself is like a piece of cake. It goes along with our theme. The vintage look of your home is the BEST. The caretaker were so responsive and always available. They help us out during our stay and made us comfortable. I suggest a dipper for every toilet if bidet is not feasible. And if you can offer a meal for a day would benefit you more. Overall, we had a GREAT stay in your home. Highly recommended.:) though very strict in head counts😅 which was already explained beforehand.

We paid $45 a night breakfast included for 2 so our review will reflect this reality. A beautiful heritage house turned into a mini hotel but kept all elements of its past. A wonderful place which you may call Home. You will feel it as you step in. The smile of the unassuming staff, a cordial welcome with nothing fake in it, the beautiful dog, the lovely reception area with the white staircase, the cozy kitchen and the tiny but cute patio. We recommend pillows to be added to the wooden couches and chairs which could make it even more inviting! Our room featured a twin, kinda small for two bed, the room size was just okay, it was clean and there was solar-powered hot water, we did not bothered by the street car noise. There was some painting going on in the small patio area around the time we stayed there. The surrounding area, a stones through from La Casita, is full of good to great entertainment options, all with a wonderful laid back dress down character and joyful unpretentious crowd. We recommend it: 1. If you travel on a budget 2. If you got tired of star rate hotels and crowds 3. If you’re looking for a new experience 4. If connecting with people means something
