ZEST Rarotonga Street Cafe

Very enjoyable buffet lunch at ZEST Rarotonga (I think formerly The Rickshaw). Good price and plenty of options - each very tasty and more or less SE Asian style mixed with local flavours. Steamed buns were my favourite. Majority of which were Gluten Free - important as we have two GF kids in tow and it is difficult satisfying their tastes and dietary needs. Well explained food on offer. On this occasion we also had grandparents with us and they too were happily fed! ha.

Lovely food, great atmosphere, and super friendly and attentive staff. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. The cocktails were good too!. A few cats around the place made this a 10/10 for me as an animal lover lol. A must-visit spot in Rarotonga — highly recommend!

Fantastic food and understanding of allergies! I think I was giddy when I realized they had vegan cheese (like really good homemade vegan cheese!) and clear Gluten free options. Vegan and GF enchiladas were the special (SO good) and similar option with Nachos but we added pork. Having an allergy to dairy also can sometimes be trickier than gluten. No problems here. The sangria was like nothing we had ever tried before in the best way possible. Glad we did not miss you while we visited Raro.

Ahhh, this place is magical. Bossa nova music, colourful welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff, swift service, magnificent cocktails (particularly the Zest Mule!), and delicious food. 5 stars all round from me!

Cute as little rustic Mexican place at muri. Staff were super smiley and so accomodating. Their frozen margaritas are huge and delish. I had the quesadilla, yum!

I had the Poly Max Enchiladas from the Specials Board (with tofu and vegan cheese), and can honestly say it's one of the best dishes I've ever had. The taste was out of this world! Genuinely phenomenal. I really hope they move it to the main menu, rather than only being a special, because it's just so good that it seems a shame not to offer it at all times! They are vegan-friendly, even though their menu doesn't necessarily suggest it obviously. They can substitute most things for vegan options, such as tofu, vegan cheese, and vegan ice cream. They are also able to make vegan pizzas with their vegan cheese. They take care with vegan orders, too - it's not just a second thought. This place was a complete surprise in just how good it was and how vegan-friendly it was. We will definitely be going back!

Honestly, one of the best restaurant experiences which I have ever had. La Casita is a low key Mexican-style restaurant with a beating heart, in the middle of the Muri township on Rarotonga. Pasha, the restaurant manager, and the other staff, visited our table often without intruding. They cared about our experience there and Pasha, who was our primary server, made sure that our order was perfect. The vegan options for both our meal and cocktails were *amazing*. *Highly* recommend this place to anyone. Thank you La Casita.

Well decorated place. Food was delicious and good value. They made us a (delicious) dessert nice and fast in a takeaway box because the bus was on its way. They even helped us track the bus and find the bus stop. Amazing staff too.
