The hostel is absolutely beautiful! It has a huge garden with 5 hammocks small streams and a river in the end including a beach. The 3 guys who run the place know everything about the area and can give you important information (e.g. where not to park you car etc.). They are always polite, friendly and make you feel comfortable all the time. Also the breakfast with homemade bread, jam from the area, and cereals, coffee, tea was really delicious. Rooms and bathrooms were always clean. Overall an amazing place to stay!

the best hostel i think iv'e stayed in! it's a little far from the center so buy the things you need for cooking because you will just want to stay there! it's good for the ones who want to relax with an amazing garden and river, or next to the fire in the evening. you can go for hikes from there but i just needed to chill. amazing. thank you so glad to find this cozy places around the world

A very unique place ! Super cozy little house by the river. The staff is great and the vibe is chill, and the garden is very nice. It is a bit out of town but very manageable. Go check it out!

This place is magical. A beautiful property that feels like a home away from home. Great, warm atmosphere and easy to meet people. Marcel is the best part - the most lovely host! We booked for only a few days and ended up staying a week. Can’t recommend enough.

A great stay, enjoyed every moment, comfortable rooms and shared space, great breakfasts, and most important, the welcoming owner and staff who did everything to make everyone feel like a family and helped with every request, great atmosphere, the evenings with the other travelers and the staff were very nice, the experience far exceeded the price, I recommend this hostel to everyone.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at La Casona! Our shared dorm was brilliant, really comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Each evening you can sign up for a homemade dinner, the food was always really good. The hostel is surrounded by beautiful grounds with a stream running through the garden. Although slightly out of town, the staff are very helpful with booking taxis and you can share the cost with other guests. 100% recommend La Casona for a quiet and relaxing few days in El Bolsón.

A place to relax surrounded by nature. The hosts were really welcoming and gave us some great advice on what to do and eat in and around El Bolson!

A little paradise - Marcel has created something very special here. Cosy living room with log fire, comfy sofas, books and games. Communal breakfasts with delicious homemade bread and jam and communal dinners too. The volunteers are incredible, great recommendations on everything as well as cooking skills. Beautiful garden. Laid back, social vibe. I very much hope I return one day.
