First meal here! A good breakfast had! I had the one with sour cream and my husband with cheese- neither like we know as back home but nice! The rice and beans with fried plantain was good. Decent portion sizes too and the fruit juices are good! Highly recommend.

This is a casual place and it had good food. We were on a tour, and the tour guides took us to the restaurant. I had fish and it was good. The dessert was very sweet. Overall, it is a decent restaurant.

The beef steak here was really good. Of all the places we've visited in Costa Rica, the beef steak was seasoned the best here. We just had to order an additional cut on the side. The service was also quite friendly and checked in with us to see how we liked everything. This is a hidden gem in San José.

First food I have in Costa Rica so I don't have anything to compare to. But i liked it. lots of different flavors with my casado con carne

Our walking tour guide took us here for lunch after our tour and it was delicious! Highly recommended for authentic local food. I had the ‘chifrijo’ which was great - the usual rice and beans with crispy pork, guacamole, tomato and tortilla chips. Apparently not many restaurants have this dish so I would recommend trying it!

What a great (not so) little spot. We found it by accident but so pleased we gave it a go. Very reasonably priced food for the city centre. Enjoyed a traditional coffee at the end of our meal. A perfect way to spend our last evening in Costa Rica!

Nice typical costarican restaurant. Had the olla de carne, a mojito and a coffee. Service was good, food was good, the coffee was traditionally prepared with the manual filter. The mojito could be done better, should have probably ordered a soda or a beer.

Better than how the restaurant seems. Specialty of the day (grilled pork rib) was amazing. It would be worth 5 stars if client service were a little bit better and meat were cooked enough. (It was served medium well-done.)
