Humberto was an amazing host. This experience gives you the option to taste 5 tequilas and 1 mezcal. You learn the art of tequila tasting as well as the process for production. They have specialty items only available/made exclusively for Disney. Excellent experience. Worth the price! Plus, it comes with a pin that gives you access to specialty cocktails at other locations!

Waited over 2 hours between being seated and getting our food. We were told 15 minutes and waited about 1 hour before being seated. Then another hour for our food to arrive. Food was dry and flavorless

This is a fantastic tequila tasting experience held in the Mexico pavilion. This is much more than just a typical flight of tequila, though. This is education. We've done it twice, and both times we've learned so much. Each time, we had 5 full tequila pours and a mezcal pour, but there were no repeats and the choices were excellent. Humberto is an excellent and skilled tequila ambassador, guiding us through tasting exercises to get the most out of the tequila. It's a tasting exercise, history lesson and sociology course all in one. A caveat: you'll get chips and guacamole but it's not enough to be lunch. I'd eat some real food before you go. You'll also get a bonus margarita to go! Yes, it's very expensive, and that's on top of your ticket to Epcot. Yes, there's a cancelation fee (make sure you read alllll of the terms and conditions before buying a ticket). But I recommend it wholeheartedly. My partner is a member of the scotch malt whiskey society and says that this experience is on par with their tastings.

Absolutely fantastic today with Humberto! Attend this only if you are a prospective “Tequila Master”

Yelp
Probably the best drinks in all of Epcot in my opinion, and I'm not even much of a Tequila person. We've been here multiple times and we've loved it every time. The line/wait can get pretty bad so either go when they open or close to closing, especially if you want to sit inside. My usual order is the Malumita but we've also tried the Dos Hombres Avocado Margarita, and the Black Magic. They also have the absolute best queso so we always make sure to get the Trio Combo that also comes with some good guacamole and salsa. Nice place to sit back for a little and enjoy a drink and some chips. They also do to go orders if you don't want to stay but you can't get the queso then!

Briana N.

Yelp
Considering the line, which does move pretty quickly, I can tell that this is a popular spot! Apparently the same drinks are served in a similar location, but where those are basically on tap, La Cava del Tequila has their drinks hand shaken. The workers here are so efficient in getting you ready with your orders and through the line. They do have more options than on the menu once you actually get to the counter, which kind of threw us off, but we didn't feel too rushed or anything about picking our choices. If you're not a big drinker/prefer drinks where you can't really taste alcohol, I would recommend the Acupulco Colada or the Cucumber. But my friends had high praises for the Corn Old Fashioned and Blood Orange.

Yelp
SERVICE: 5 FOOD QUALITY: 5 DRINK QUALITY: 5 ORDER TIME: 4 AESTHETICS: 4 NOISE LEVEL: 4 MENU SELECTION: 5 OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 4.57 Hands down my favorite place at Epcot. I've been a couple times now. Every visit this is my first stop. The line is usually long but the staff are always friendly, and very efficient which helps move the line in a timely fashion. I've tried pretty much every margarita they have on the menu now. I have fallen in love with the avocado margarita, and it's my go to now. They also serve very unique beer which can't be found anywhere else, but Epcot so if you like Mexican lagers then this is a must stop. Overall, this place is magical, and if you like beer or margaritas you won't be disappointed. Just be prepared for a line and your experience will be superb.

Yoly R.

Yelp
Have only had their avocado margarita but it's so good and refreshing! Always a stop while in Epcot.

James H.

Yelp
The smart ones always go left towards Mexico and make it a point to stop at Lacava for one of their great margaritas, I especially like the avocado margarita. Now the lines can't get along, but it does move fast and you can always get your drink to go, but if you have time and their seats available, sit down and try the tequila flight tasting and oh by the way, the chips are great!

Krista H.

Yelp
The cucumber margaritas are amazing! I wish this place was a little bigger. Service is great.

Amanda T.

Yelp
Warm queso and a margarita is the perfect break for your feet and your belly at Epcot. We liked that the queso also came with some salsa. The charcoal based margarita was a little too sweet and lacked flavor but rest were good. The tequila shot with the sangria chaser is a must before you leave. It's a small place but we were able to get a table relatively quickly. Service was very friendly!

Adam M.

Yelp
I'll be honest, I only come here for "The Cucumber". It's a margarita, I recommend that you get it spicy!

Austin B.

Yelp
Am absolutely amazing little tequila bar in epcot at the Mexico Pavilion. It's so amazing that there is always a line that will take at least 30-45 minutes no matter what! Everytime I have been here the service has been exceptional and the bar tenders are insanely fast when it comes to taking your order and making the drinks. I decided to get the Maelstrom recently and it has been the best margarita I've had here yet! It has joven tequila, lime juice, mango puree, mezcal and a black ant salt rim. It was heavenly! It had an amazing smokey flavor and a nice little bit from the spices they added. Super refreshing and definitely dangerous if you get 2 or more! Prices are very theme park-y, with a drink costing roughly $15 or more. The Maelstrom was on the higher end of the list at $18 dollars, but worth it. The styling of the tequila bar is stunning and it really makes you feel like you've been transported to another country (Mexico for this instance). The decorations on the walls are stunning. It is a very intimate place and that's why there's usually a long line. The line is split between togo orders and sit down in the place. Staff is super friendly as well and are attentive. It's great because I've had great drink recommendations from the bar tenders and haven't been led wrong yet!

Kristina C.

Yelp
Great break from walking around Epcot. The bar/lounge is dark and relaxing. The service is fantastic! The drinks are delicious and imaginative. I had the chips and guacamole and it paired well with my avocado margarita.

Ava G.

Yelp
THE BEST MARGARITAS! There was a long line, but being a small party of 2 let us get in before most other groups. They have a large menu of margaritas and tequila. There is no food besides chip, salsa, queso, and guacamole. We got all of the above and it was delicious! The salsa was spicy, guac was creamy, and queso was hot and fresh. My avocado margarita was so unique yet delicious and fresh, with the melon and lime flavor coming through with creaminess from the avocado. My boyfriend got "the Lilly" which came out with a smoke show! Servers here are also so friendly. We had a great time here, this is a great place to rest your feet while at EPCOT. I'd come back for sure!

Brett H.

Yelp
I love La Cava del Tequila!!! I will say the cost of their drinks does go up from time to time. Now, depending on what you order they are sometimes hand-crafted for you and sometimes the bases are pre-made. The pre-made bases are made in-house by them and they use fresh ingredients. You used to be able to hang out at the bar and drink, but due to the popularity, you can only order at the bar and take your drink to-go. They do still offer a sit-down service, but there is typically a wait. The staff are excellent. It is always a delight to see Dinorah, who makes a mean Mezcal Margarita, and Hilda always stops by to say hello to us and greet us as if we are family. The great drinks, lovely ambiance, and great staff give this place five stars.

Brian F.

Yelp
This was one of the destinations as part of my "drink around the world" adventure at Epcot where I got one drink from each country in the park. La Cava del Tequila is located in the Mexico section of the park. It's inside the large pyramid to the right. It's a small restaurant with the bar area to the left and tables to the right. If you're just getting drinks you can order at the bar. I got the dos hombres avocado ($17.50) which was basically an avocado margarita. You can get it with either tequila or mezcal and we chose the former. This was great and one of my favorite drinks from the "drink around the world" series.

Kandis N.

Yelp
The margaritas are EXPENSIVE! It's all about the experience though. Chips and salsa were good!

John M.

Yelp
La Cava del Tequila has a great ambiance and are known for their tequila section. Service is friendly and professional. It is Disney, so expect the cost to be reflective of that.

Rachel W.

Yelp
Great chips and queso and margaritas! Make sure you come here when you come to Epcot, the location is kind of hidden in the right side of the Mexican pavilion. It is very dark and hard to see but that's part of the vibe. Service was good and waiter gave us extra chips for our queso!

Maggie H.

Yelp
Let's not bury the lead: We saw Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul at La Cava del Tequila last Tuesday night! It was an unannounced appearance. Magic! La Cava del Tequila may be my favorite discovery on any Disney trip. We waited in line outside the bar only maybe 15 minutes on each visit. Yes, we visited the bar twice. In one day. We did. During a food and wine festival. Yes. But we first visited it based on the recommendation of my friends who live in Florida. They had me at the concept of an air conditioned bar in a pyramid that serves delicious, imaginative tequila and mezcal cocktails you can take to go. We tried the maelstrom, avocado, blood orange, and frozen black magic. They were all better than most drinks you'd order elsewhere. My favorites were the Dos Hombres Avocado (which I had original style/ w/ tequila rather than Dos Hombres mezcal, on the recommendation of another guest in line, as I didn't know I'd be practically running into los Dos Hombres later that day. The avocado drink was my very favorite drink of the trip and which we'll try to replicate in a few days. We also had the (frozen) Black Magic (created by Neil Patrick Harris). My companion says the Avocado and the Maelstrom were his favorite drinks of the trip. The bartenders were quick and friendly and offered us shots of Dos Hombres mezcal. Of course we accepted as we got another minute in the bar. EPCOT is even more romantic when you've done an impulse shot of Dos Hombres mezcal. The Disney magic continues in my late 30s!

Carlos R.

Yelp
Good salsa and cheese dip.. in a cool environment and Mexican ambience. Sergio great server..

Amanda L.

Yelp
I've only visited this tequila bar, only a handful of times here in Epcot. The reason is that it's always busy at the parks and quite a long wait inside the Mexican pavilion. However, when I have time to just truly relax, I'll make my way here. The bartenders here are great and pretty helpful if you've never been to the bar before as there are many options to choose from. My husband and I split a drink; the Malestrom. An intensely awesome drink. While it's refreshing, it also has that smoked flavor profile. It's a margarita that has joven tequila, mango puree, lime juice, mezcal, and a black ant salt rim. Did not know about the rim prior to me having a taste. It was good, but that aspect made me a bit sick, so just be aware, haha. Prices are more or less what you'd expect at a theme park ($15 or more). However, the drink was delicious, and the size/amount was quite generous. It's definitely worth it. The inside atmosphere is chaotic, but the decor and low lighting inside almost calms you down here. It's a nice spot if you want to enjoy a great drink with

Jorge R.

Yelp
Gracias a Dios! Translated to "Thank God!" - thats the name of the satisfying Mezcal I enjoyed at La Cava del Tequila at Disney's Epcot center. Situated inside the pyramid at the Mexico pavilion, this cozy spot is a rite of passage for anyone attempting to "Drink around the world" at World Showcase, or for any self respecting tequila lover. Their menu of tequilas is extensive and there's something here for everyone. Service is prompt. Lines can get long! I was able to get a nice Mezcal for about $11 . Good pour and very smooth. I can't say no to this place, I'll be back...For more Tequila, oh yes!

Kristen W.

Yelp
Best bar in Epcot! Cozy vibe with great drinks & service. You really can't go wrong ordering any drink here. Don't miss out on the trio of chips with queso guac & salsa.

Sean M.

Yelp
11AM. That is the time when they open the door and allow you to enter what is arguably the best place to get a cocktail in EPCOT. I highly recommend the La Cava Avocado. I actually recommend you have two it is so tasty. The staff here knows their tequila too. True professionals and they have a couple hundred different types! The bar is beautiful but small and be warned, it gets busy and it gets a line so that's why I recommend 11AM. There is no shame in waiting for a bar to open when visiting the Mouse and believe me, you won't be the only one!

Diana L.

Yelp
Our favorite country and spot to drink at in Epcot! If tequila is your drink of choice - this is the spot for you! The menu includes an extensive array of opinions to choose from, there's something for every palate, and the option to get a flight to try multiple! There's rarely ever a wait to get a table! The food menu is limited chip and dip (salsa, guacamole, etc) because the spotlight is on the tequilas - but if you're looking for something more substantial after, there's a restaurant conveniently located just steps away!

Julia K.

Yelp
A very disappointing visit for our last stop during Flower and Garden event with some friends I have not been here since the pandemic, and had some great experiences prior, but sadly this last visit will deter us from returning. We told the hostess that we are here for drinks and also wanted to order food. After about 15 mins they guided us to the bar. We ordered some salsa, guacamole (was good) and chips, cuz that was the only food we can order at the bar along with 2 flights of tequila tasting. The food came super fast along with the tequila that looks like it was previously poured waiting in the back of the bar. We still graciously tipped nearly 30% / $20. Right after we tipped and were about to toast & taste our tequila when the waiter rushed us out of the bar, and said it was a To Go order and we had to take it outside... OMG wow ! Funny no one mentioned this beforehand prior to us ordering The hostess should have been the first to mention this. If we would known we will not have order from the bar or tipped 30% for a to go order... ugh just ridiculous!! The worse service and hospitality we've ever experienced at Disney sadly... super disappointing! We were all very shocked and upset that being our last stop of the day. ATTENTION Disney guest services/ training... you should really teach your employees to let the customers know that the bar is for TO GO orders ONLY! SMH

Joe S.

Yelp
This is an excellent idea, but it's kind of a cluster to get service. There are a few tables, but it's always packed and I haven't quite figured out how to get a seat. You can order at the bar then awkwardly look for a place to enjoy your cocktail, which will be outside the store amongst others sipping by the market shops. They have lots of cool looking tequilas behind the bar, but on my last visit, I didn't see a Tequila menu. It was just all Margaritas. I didn't notice until I wrote this review and the picture from last year showed up. Maybe they still do and I missed something. The margaritas are delicious but be prepared to pay for them. They use some good tequilas so keep that in mind when looking at the prices. I'll return as I'm a sucker for tequila drinks.

Minnie L.

Yelp
It's a tequila speciality bar with a very impressive list of choices. Service was pretty fast Ambiance feels like a mexican basement bar. with no Mexican Coke even though the hostess said it was available.

Andro S.

Yelp
The line here is usually long, but moves fast. Don't let it discourage you. The AC in here is usually very refreshing in a very hot park. They have top shelf tequila and it usually does the trick to put you over the edge. Must try if visiting Epcot!

Aubrie H.

Yelp
This is a must stop when we are in Epcot. We decided this time that we wanted to try something new and we ordered the Lily Rose. It is a little expensive than other drinks on the menu but it comes with a presentation so we felt it was worth it. We loved the taste and always love everything we order here.

JC C.

Yelp
This place is a must visit for the Tequila Aficionados. Very small, seating capacity is around 20-24 at most. I started the line my last visit 1 hour before opened. By the time it opened, over 40 in line easy. Chips & Salsa/Guacamole are pretty much all they offer... The stand up bar is just that, order drinks to go and continue back enjoying the park after being served.

Beth W.

Yelp
This is a great place to find some interesting drink options not found at the more easily accessible bars/restaurants in Mexico at EPCOT. First off, you need to go inside the replica of the Mayan ruins to find this full bar. You'll be rewarded with some great flavors. My youngest and I went with the Avocado Margarita. It had a great smooth flavor that wasn't too sweet or sour. My oldest had the El Diablo as she likes her margaritas spicy, and my husband ended up with a special concoction based on a quick exchange with the bartender. He did a fabulous job as my husband enjoyed his drink. This was a great place to start our adventure drinking around EPCOT!

Steve K.

Yelp
Excellent 'Rita's! Food looked good, but we stopped for drinks only. Only complaint... I wish they disallowed kids (yes, I know it's Disney, but there are TONS of other places to bring your kids; with limited seating capacity, let the 21+ age group have this one).

Danielle V.

Yelp
Worth the wait! On a busy day you can wait a long time to get a drink but it's totally worth it. Bar service mostly with a few tables. The margaritas are amazing and I don't even really like tequila. This is always our first stop while drinking around the world and then we go ride the ride that's inside. The pavilion is super cute while you are waiting as well!

Karen N.

Yelp
The sitting area is very small. It will be a wait if this is the way you want to go. They also have a few standing tables. If you don't want to wait, you can order a drink at the bar and walk around the park. I got the Black Magic compliments of Neil Patrick Harris' creation. Geez, what hasn't he dipped his hands into? It was very good. For those of you who like mezcal, you will love it. There is no food at this bar. You can get that at the restaurant across the way.

Michele R.

Yelp
As a former Cast Member trained to present World Class Service, I was very disappointed in my most recent visit to La Cava. This has always been a frequent stop at Epcot for the past 10 years, and while the prices continue to increase, the service has definitely gone down hill. This visit was on a Sunday and there was surprisingly no line. My friend and I were admitted immediately into the bar. There were 4 bartenders standing around and no one greeted us. We stood there for at least a good 5-10 minutes until the bartender closest to us looked up and said "What do you want?" I was caught off guard by the coldness and asked if they had any Vodka drinks for my friend. She just wanted a vodka soda, he didn't reply then abruptly placed a cup on the counter for her. I asked for an avocado margarita which is now priced at $18.50 (keeping in mind the portion size has also decreased). It seemed like it was premade and was not fresh. He then handed me the card machine which defaults to 18%+ tip. I picked Other at the bottom and gave 15%, which in my eyes is still pretty generous given that the service was horrible. He then looked at the amount and rolled his eyes. What a horrible experience. With AI taking over the service industry, These bartenders should be grateful they have jobs. Very disappointed and will probably not come back for $20+ drinks with an attitude.

john j.

Yelp
What a refreshing break from the scorching Florida heat. After a few rounds of Avocado Margaritas we left happy and finally cooled off. Now if I could just get ONE more Margarita....

Brittani W.

Yelp
This is the BEST place for margaritas at Epcot! If you don't care about having the nice selection and just want a regular one, they have a stand outside that has some of the flavors, but they don't have some choice options such as the amazing Avocado Marg! It is a tad pricey and typically there is a bit of a line but it's a fun experience! There is seating as well if you want a cool spot to relax for a bit and enjoy your drink with friends, or even walk around the inside area where you can shop a bit! It is very immersive in the entire Mexico pavilion and worth a venture in!

Crysty M.

Yelp
Share a standing table. If your going to drink meeting strangers is fun. Sometimes you meet people who are there enjoying drinking just like your own group. Great way to start the day drinking mission. It was quick and the server was great made sure to answer our questions.

Michael R.

Yelp
I always go to this bar in Mexico at Epcot. The drinks and service is top notch! We ordered the qeuso and chips were very good. We ordered the avocado margarita delicious as well. The service is always top notch and we were able to get to a table and relax while we we're enjoying the bar..

Jose R.

Yelp
This lounge was a nice little surprise when we where walking around the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot. It was near closing so we were able to get a table. The waiter was nice and helpful with selecting drinks. We started off with the Trio Combo which was chips with salsa, guacamole and queso dip. The salsa was bland and not very flavorful however the guacamole and queso were tasty. We got the Cava Avocado and Piña Loca cocktails and both were super good. I did go back a different day to get a Paloma and I personally didn't think it was very good.

Bill M.

Yelp
Sitting inside is a hard to get experience but it is worth it. You might have to wait a bit since it is such a small venue but you will be rewarded with a truly unique experience at Epcot. Once we sat down we had the trio of chips and salsa. The guacamole was amazing! It was silky and creamy and so yummy. The salsa was fresh and tasty. So good! The chips were scorched like they were lightly toasted on the grill. So good!! Thoroughly impressed with this place even if they have taken away having flights at the bar. Servers were amazing and given all the drunk gringos they showed incredible patience

Anna E.

Yelp
This is a must for Epcot! Located inside the the Mexican pavilion (with amazing air conditioning!!!) its a cozy and delicious place to grab a drink! You can order at the bar to go or wait for a table (only a few tables are located inside but if you're here for the tequila then it's worth it for table service). My husband had the avocado margarita and he gave it a 10/10. Shout out to Dinorah our bartender who was able to advise me that they cannot guarantee the avocado or other batch margaritas are gluten free. She made me the best classic margarita from scratch to ensure my safety and it really made my day even more magical! The tequila selection is expansive (and delicious) I will definitely be back!!

Amy K.

Yelp
If you don't like this place, then take your pretty little Disney strut and walk right back out of the pavilion! This place is visited by many for a reason - it's AWESOME! That is all. Good vibes, good drinks, out of the heat, has snacks, has tequila, what else could you ask for?! So many people give feedback that they're "batch" drinks or in plastic cups, etc. and while they are not wrong, I do have to ask "What is wrong with that?!" - Have you ever tried to make hundreds of the same margarita for hundreds of people daily and at the speed of light? I mean, Disney is full of Magic, but I don't think they've mastered that just yet! LOL. It also doesn't make them any less delicious, so just appreciate the magic Disney IS trying to exude so that everyone can enjoy a margarita without waiting for 2 hours. Most people visit here for the infamous Avocado Margarita and yes, if you're getting it TO GO, it will be in a plastic cup. Wanting to take a seat inside the bar area? You'll be severed in an actual glass. Either way, same tasty margarita! My personal favorite is The Cucumber, served with fresh cucumber, lime juice, orange liqueur and a tasty tajin rim! Super refreshing, and a must try if you a classic margarita taste. Mezcal fan? Try the Black Magic (my husband's favorite). Accompany ANY of these with their chips & dips - we like the trio with salsa, guac, and queso! Honestly, I know the hype of La Cava is just oh so irresistible, but if you're not wanting to wait in line, know that you can get a good amount of drinks at either of the two quick service locations outside of the pavilion. Not in a rush? Test your luck, grab a table (more likely with a small group), order some snacks, and sip on that pretty little margarita (or 2, or 3...) - Salud!

Trisha W.

Yelp
I had never been to this fun little place because I am usually with my child. We wait in lines for food and rides. Not for mommy to have a beverage. Girl weekend rules are different. My margarita was amazeballs. It had a kick from the cucumber-jalapeño juice which I am all for. I kind wished I had grabbed two while I was there. Because we needed a snack, we ordered the chip and dip trio. The bartender said they were out of queso, so we got double guac. No complaints from us.

Cheryll H.

Yelp
We absolutely love this place. We wanted to grab a seat for a drink and snack and it was so good. Anytime someone can get you to spend $25 for chips and dips, you have to give them kudos. Loved every bite. The blood orange margaritas hit the spot too. Great service and atmosphere.

Brian S.

Yelp
A lot has changed at Walt Disney World since the COVID pandemic shutdown, with many restaurants and bars changing menus and prices...some for the better, but also some for the worse. La Cava del Tequila, I'm happy to say, has retained its spot as one of the best bars (potentially the absolute best bar) at all of Disney World. The drinks are still amazing - the margaritas here are some of my favorite on the planet. The appetizers are also still great - we always get the chips and salsa, and they continue to be a wonderful snack. And, the service is still amazing - they stayed open a bit later for us, which was appreciated. If you like cocktails - and especially margaritas - you owe it to yourself to have a drink (or a few) at La Cava!

Anais H.

Yelp
Best place for margaritas on all Disney property! My all time favorite and go to cocktail here is the blood orange margarita. I tried the wild one once and it had a strange Smokey taste to it. Wasn't my thing, but if it's yours, then go for it! The staff is super friendly! Best time to come is right when it opens at 11 am. Also, the chips and guacamole are a yummy treat!

Athena H.

Yelp
I don't think this place lives up to the hype. I tried the Avocado Margarita and it was good, nothing spectacular and very expensive. The bartender was not friendly. I would try this bar again and maybe try a different beverage

Tim M.

Yelp
Our favorite place! Chips, guac and queso are amazing! Best Margs anywhere. I personally loved the cucumber marg and my wife got the maelstrom. Make sure to ask for it spicy!

Clara S.

Yelp
There's always a line for La Cava del Teauila and for good reason- their drinks are delicious! This was the first time I've ever gotten a table (standing room only), usually we just order from the bar and walk along the showcase. Our group ordered the tequila flight, the Maelstrom & La Flaca. La Flaca is my favorite because its light and refreshing for a hot day in Orlando. The others liked their drinks as well but the surprise was the dried crickets(?) with the flight of Tequila. I don't think it mentioned it on the menu but it was a fun surprise as we tried to figure out what they were LOL. First we thought it was dried olives or coffee beans. It was fun to try them! The service and atmosphere of course was wonderful!
