Known as one of the best natural wine cellars in Paris, the place does not disappoint. The caviste knows his wines, and the selection is dreamy.

If you're into natural wine, La Cave des Papilles is a must-visit when in Paris. Located in the 14th arrondissement, this charming and authentic wine shop has one of the best selections of natural, organic, and biodynamic wines in the city. From small independent French producers to carefully chosen international gems, their selection is both extensive and thoughtfully curated. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate—always happy to guide you, whether you're new to natural wine or already a devotee. They take the time to explain each bottle's story, terroir, and method, without ever being pushy. The vibe here is relaxed and welcoming. It feels more like a neighborhood wine haven than a fancy wine boutique. You can tell they care about sustainability, craftsmanship, and quality over trends. Highly recommended for wine lovers, travelers looking for authentic Parisian experiences, or anyone interested in discovering the world of low-intervention wines. Whether you're picking up a few bottles or just browsing, La Cave des Papilles is a true hidden gem.

I've ordered 12 bottles of wine multiple times for delivery to New York City. The bottles arrived in less than a month, carefully packaged. La Cave des Papilles is my best-kept secret for accessing nice bottles from France!

Great selection and staff are very knowledgeable. Small natural wine producers like Ormiale and JC Garnier. Great stuff but you'd have to know the producers, but the staff are very helpful

Wonderful natural wine selection from French winemakers, a few local and imported beers and spirits, cheese, and canned fish. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Located on a quaint street with delicious coffee, tea, and produce shops. My favorite wine store!

Employees are polite and helpful, even in English. However, the store specializes in small and unfamiliar producers, and does not offer tastings, so decision-making is difficult.

My favorite cave of all time. Thibaut has been the best advisor who remembers his customers’ taste and recommends the right wine for different occasions. He’ll be missed sincerely !

La Cave des Papilles - the only place in Paris I will buy my wines from now on!!! on a trip Paris recently I found myself walking around Montparnasse. as I was in France I thought it would be rude not to buy a bottle of red wine! As i walked in i was welcomed my a smile and a hello (surprising in Paris to be fair!) ... the person working at La Cave des Papilles told me that only sell natural wines! in my stupidity I thought all wines were natural but i didn't realise that most wines are full of chemicals to help with yields of grapes. they were very helpful knowledgable in my purchase of a fantastic Burgundy. every time I'm in Paris, I will make time to go to La Cave des Papilles to buy a bottle!
