"La Cave Run by Seattle native and professional sommelier Michael Rowe—part-owner of popular craft-beer expat hangout, Badfish—La Cave is a new Prenzlauer Berg wine shop and bar that offers locals a taste of over 200 wines. Set inside a simple but elegant space, with extensive wooden shelves holding bottles from around the world to purchase, La Cave puts a special emphasis on German varieties. The bar area serves around 20 bottles by the glass. There are several wooden tables dotted around for seating, and a supplementary menu of Mediterranean-influenced dishes: anchovies on toast, house-marinated olives, as well as cheese and charcuterie plates. Look out for the monthly wine tasting events."
I ate a really delicious seafood dish there. and There are many different kinds of wine. The owner kindly recommended me a good wine matched to my dish. I am sure I will come back.

I had a going away get together in La Cave tonight and feel blessed. The atmosphere is buzzy yet ideal for conversation, the staff are spot on with recommendations and the food is super good, simple but perfect. Anyway whatever about that, what about the wine. It's a strong broad selection priced very fairly, served well. Some really interesting stuff, the Refosco is a stunner and there are not one but two new world Armenians on show. Go!

A beautiful, cosy wine bar nestled in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. The food selection is top-notch, and there is a wine for every occasion! Our sommelier Michael was very helpful in selecting an excellent drop to pair with dinner.
Come for the wine, enjoy the food, then stay for a glass of port while you continue to enjoy the ambience!

Super yummy new wine bar in my neighborhood. Stopped by to try it out with a friend and we ended up spending the whole evening there. They really know good wine - the food was amazing too - we had the caesar salad, ravioli, coq au vin, and the bread pudding - sooo good! can't wait to return.

This is such a cute place with some of the best bacon-wrapped dates I’ve ever had. The wine selection is the most diverse you’ll find in Berlin with wine from Europe, Africa and across thee Americas!

This place is not what it seems they sell it as a bistro restaurant when they give you low quality food with overpriced wine in not such a cousy or unique place. Also, I must mention that if you’re a latin woman the cook or a chef will think very less of you and make openly bad comments about Latin woman on your face.
