La Cène

Very cozy and clean restaurant with a nice selection of beers! Food was very tasty and beer was cold and excellent. I tried a fantastic local beer brand called Curtius. Service was fast and staff very polite! Highly recommended for lunch if you are in the area! Just be careful since it fills up fast and you might need to make a reservation.

A place to go, when you're in the beautiful city of Liege! In the district of "Outre-Meuse" (the heart of local folklore and cultural tradition in the city), near the youth hostel "George Simenon" (the famous author of "Maigret" which is born in Liege), you will find La Cène on the corner. The menu is quite small, but this is not really a problem, local "Brasserie" kind of dishes, the "Boulet Liégeois" is a classic, and they're simply delicious. Five stars, no hesitation at all!
