LOVED this cafe tucked away inside the courtyard of the bookstore. The food was really delicious and the matcha latte I had as well. It really was like a little oasis tucked away from the busy city. I could've spent all day here. The bookstore was also WAY bigger than I realized initially. Plenty to choose from.

really nice bookshop. loads of books over three floors and all well organized. They have a beautiful café with outside garden to sit and enjoy. And the best there is a separated garden just for reading your books. Awesome. One star only as they add these magnet stickers inside the books that you cannot remove without destroying the book itself absolute no-go. Come for the coffee and the nice garden.

What a little gem 💎 Such a gorgeous space full of beautiful books and accessories. You could spend a lot of time in here perusing the shelves. There is a beautiful terrace where you can have a coffee or food, there is an orange tree in the middle of the terrace. So gorgeous, call in and you won’t be disappointed 📕

This bookstore is a very cool and underrated place in Barcelona! I was recommended by a friend who lived here and I was not disappointed.

We arrived in Barcelona this afternoon and I was looking for a book that explained the history of Spain in English - the entire history from prehistoric times - in a couple of hundred pages. The staff was so helpful, particularly the young lady who sits in a corner on the first floor. She helped me find the perfect book, one by Giles Tremlett, and I was out of there in a few minutes.

This is one of the best bookshops in Barcelona. First of all, you're drawn in by the architecture. They have refurbished a ca. 17th century building with a modern interior and filled it with books and a lovely café. One could spend all day here looking at all the different topics on offer. The café has a daily menú del día which the one time I ate there was very very nice indeed.

I am not a fan to go to bookstores, don't get me wrong, I love reading but I hate not finding what I want. Because I have lived in many places I tend not to store to many books (they are heavy) and lately I love to get my books for free in the library. But sometimes is good to have a special book, or you need to buy a present. That's why we end up in La Central. This bookstore is located in an old church of the Carrer Elisabeth and is worth visiting. It is specialized in humanities books and it occupies an humongous space, covering the church and an accessory building. The comic section is also very good, but as I told you, I find difficult to browse with their cataloging system. And don't forget to visit the downstair section, where they have the sales and special offers.
