La Cevichería

This place served the best ceviche we have ever had anywhere. We have tried many different places but this one takes the top. We only came here to try the ceviche. The staff was friendly and after some explaining that we only wanted the ceviche (and not a full course meal) we were seated outside. We ordered the ‘ceviche combinado al coco y limón’. It included some crackers and chips. The flavours were amazing and everything tasted very fresh. The price was quite reasonable. If you like ceviche you should definitely try this place!

All of the food we had at La Cevicheria was fresh and flavorful! We had the ceviche de camarón and it did not disappoint. The other dishes such as the Langosta a las Brazas was good and came with huge slices of avocado. They also have a hot sauce that is well balanced in flavor as well as in spice. It is spicy! You can also buy it from them! Yoleides was our server and she was very sweet and attentive. She kept our table clean and ensured we had everything we needed. Gracias Yoleides! Great staff all around from beginning to end!

Hands down the best octopus I’ve ever had in my life. Ceviche was great too but mind blown by how rich and fresh and chewy and yummy the octopus is. The coconut drink was fabulous too. Our server deymer was so welcoming and warm. Loved this restaurant!!! It did live up to the hype.

Delicious and fresh ceviches. Our waitress Karen took great care of us and recommended very reasonable portions considering we weren't super hungry. The Colombian and the Peruvian ceviches were absolutely delicious. Will definitely return once we're hungrier to try more dishes.

Scrumptious, fresh, and super friendly staff in a very inviting environment with beautiful decor! Even the late and famous Anthony Bourdain ate at this place! (I saw a photo at the restaurant). Highly recommended!

Best ceviche in Cartagena & probably all of Colombia. The staff are also phenomenal - felt like dining with friends. We went back twice in one week. The grilled lobster, the Miss Celanea, the mixed Colombian Ceviche in temptation and the seafood volcano were all sooo delicious. Even the dessert was great - the one with the warm plantains and vanilla ice cream. All the tastes shall live rent free in my memory forever.

La Cevichería serves the best seafood I’ve ever had. The lobster, calamari, and shrimp tasted like home cooking with an elegant twist. The mixed seafood with fresh fruit and mango sauce was unforgettable,bursting with flavor. The staff were exceptional, making me feel like royalty with their warm, professional service. I’ll be back in Cartagena, and this spot will be my first stop. Highly recommended!

We were so happy to stumble upon this little resturant on the corner inside the walled city in Cartegena after watching Anthony Bourdain's show, "No Reservations." This place has the best cerviche. Not only do they have the classic flavor available they also have some delicious twists on ceviche. We tried the coconut ceviche and it was amazing! We also ordered the Arroz Vietnamete. It was served in a coconut shell with lots of coconut rice and seafood in a sauce. When I say delicious, I mean it was delicious. Must try when in Cartegena.
