La Chalupa was INCREDIBLE. First meal in San Pancho and we were not let down. My partner and I both got the pescado ceviche tostada and 3 sopes. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Don’t sleep on this place!

Upsides : - the fried fish was really good - the server was friendly and explained the dishes and the prices and was patient - the prices are pretty reasonable for San Pancho Downsides : - the service is a bit slow - there are a lot of flies - the place isn't really pretty - some dogs come to the tables and ask for food

Very friendly service. Sadly the pictures did not reflect the food. Watery sauce, cotija cheese enchiladas were not what was expected. It was not expensive but was comically bad food.

Definitely worth going off the main drag if you want authentic delicious Mexican food that’s not touristy.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant. Reasonable prices. Tucked away on a side street but still close to the main street

Excellent down home eating! Stopped in for lunch at 3pm on a Sunday and the place was hopping! Nothing fancy, but great authentic food and friendly service. Features local fish and has a menu del día for 70 pesos. I had the garlic shrimp and it was super tasty. Highly recommended if you don’t want a tourist oriented meal.

Went there for the ceviche. It didn’t disappoint! We were 3 and ordered the ceviche and the nachos and we couldn’t finish our plates. The portions are big and the food is delicious!

Visited last year and back this season, both visits were enjoyable. Food was delicious and the drinks great!
