Google
Top restaurant in Beaune, never disappointed, excellent traditional Bourgogne specialties food, very friendly service and nice atmosphere. We keep coming back each year if we go to France.

Google
Gem of a place that we stumbled on while visiting this beautiful town. Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and fabulous food, not cheap but worth every penny. Would return without hesitation when passing (also dog friendly 😊)

Came for set dinner on sunday and had ham starter and stew duck which was excellent. Added egg in wine sauce typical of region finished off with sorbet. Good value. Reasonable wine selection range n prices

We got complex menu. It was good, but not excellent - I would say normal ordinary good food - roasted beef and duck as a main course, and interesting starters (jambon and lentil ). Wines are very expensive - for this region it is not normal. All tabels around got wine by glasses, we ordered bottle and it was basic, expensive and not impressive

I liked this place. Very much indeed. 2 of us ate here for lunch. You should book as there's not a huge amount of space. Warm welcome from the team, attentive service and very good food. Extensive wine list with something for everyone.

Weekday lunch. High quality Burgundian cuisine at a reasonable price. Local wine by glasses available which was perfect for lunch. Both the veal tongue terrine and lamb were delicate and delicious. Very attentive and kind owner. Will certainly return.

Yelp
Call early for a reservation, the menu is in the classic old style tiers 20€/ 30€/ or 40€. No matter which tier you pick it may be the best culinary experience of your life !!!!!! Consider the terrine de Volaille aux Noisettes, boeuf charolais and fromage epoisse on the cheese plate. They speak only a little English, but just place your palate in their capable hands

Yelp
We were fortunate to get a table without a reservation on a Sunday (when many restaurants are closed) for lunch, by arriving at noon. I loved everything about the meal: friendly service, plenty of menu options, delicious food (by high foodie standards) and great value (21 Euro three-course menu). The 6 Euro house red wine was even good. The chocolate plate was especially wonderful, with an intensely chocolate ice cream and three other chocolate delights. Our one small complaint was that item descriptions were sometimes a bit misleading. Fish with "shrimp sauce" had no discernible shrimp and lobster with "curry" sauce didn't seem to have anything I'd associate with curry; both had a nice, light butter sauce. A creme brulee that mentioned bourbon had no such flavor. But this is a minor quibble, as all of these items were delicious!

Yelp
It's a bit of a walk from the town center, but that means this place has locals as well as tourists, always a good sign. It's classic Burgundy cuisine with a prix fixe menu that is a killer deal. I had the beef--a huge chunk of the local Charolais, while the wife had lamb done to perfection. We splurged on a half-bottle of Haute Cote de Beaune, and it was worth it. There are two smallish dining rooms with whitewashed stone walls and wooden beams. The two servers worked so hard to please their customers in this space; it was a pleasure to watch them handle it with tact and charm. The staff speaks just enough English but it's fun to try your French on them. Be sure to make a reservation. No pretentions here, just great food at a great price.

Yelp
This restaurant serves local simple food with satisfactory quality. It was also family friendly for lunch although the atmosphere is even appropriate for couples. Pot au feu of canard is very nice, being gentle to your stomach and matching Burgundy red wines.

Yelp
We made reservations from home and large lingering parties delayed our seating. We were greeted warmly and given a delightful small appetizer while we waited. We had the €30 menu and a small bottle of Pommard. It was a wonderful first meal for this visit to France. Everything was top-notch.

Yelp
I have never yelped before but my experience at Ciboulette was so bad that I actually joined yelp to write this review. My family of 3 and I arrived for our reservation, were seated after a bit of a fuss ( I am not sure if they actually had our reservation but I saw them cross a name off in their reservation book), and then completely ignored for a half hour. Two women and a man ignored us for 30 minutes despite our desperate efforts to get their attention. That's right, no eye contact, no, "Sorry, someone will be with you on a minute..." Nothing. When we got up to leave, again nothing. No apology, no eye contact, no dialogue. Nothing. Oh, by the way, I have been in the restaurant business in NYC for over 30 years and have never been a fan of public forums (such as yelp) that allow the masses to air their grievances. I know first-hand how damaging bad reviews can be so it is with a bit of regret that I post this.

Yelp
Lovely small restaurant near the north gate of the walled city. Just walk into town and it's two blocks up on the right. It has tablecloths, real decor, very good food and it's inexpensive; about $20-30 Euro. Lunch is always a delight and you're in the middle of town.

Yelp
I love these guys. Super big bonus for being open on a Sunday afternoon in the winter. they have a few set menus. We chose the $20 euro one. Husband got a pumpkin soup, pork cheek bourguignon and poached pear. I had a chicken terrine, pot-au-feu of duck, and a chocolate plate. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. The pot-au-feu might be my most favorite thing that I had in Beaune. The portions were manageable (there are a few places here, their portions kill me. simply too much) and the balance is superb. Highly recommend them.

Yelp
Small, cozy restaurant with excellent food and friendly service. We had a couple of very nice salads (one with beef tongue, one with salmon terrine) followed by some extremely generously sized portions of magret de canard. It seems to be very popular for lunch, so reservations may be a good idea.
