This is not a typical hotel, as it is two floors within a residential building. You need to enter off the street and go down an internal alley to find a shared lift i.e. there is no ground floor reception. On the third floor, you will find a welcoming reception desk. Everything has been recently renovated and is bright, clean, spacious and stylish. The bed and linen and bathroom and products are nice and luxurious, and the aircon was excellent. The included breakfast was good (but not great) and the rooftop location for breakfast is lovely. Having said that, the rooftop overall was a bit disappointing. We imagined spending lots of time there enjoying the view and surrounds. The hotel photos give the impression of a large plunge tub and lots of sun lounges. In reality, the tub is small and the area is not particularly appealing to lounge around in. I would have enjoyed the rooftop more at night if they served drinks and nibbles, but the bar/food area was only in use at breakfast time (and we were there in peak season). The staff were nice and helpful, especially in assisting us in dealing with a national train strike affecting our onward travel. Location wise, the hotel is well situated - it is a 2 minute walk to the main street via Toledo, 3 minutes to Galerie D'Italia, and 5 minutes to Castel Nuovo. It is perfectly located for transport - just 3 minutes walk to Municipio metro and less than 10 minutes walk to Beverello port. It is just off the main historic centre of Napoli so you can wander through the nearby lanes and make your way up the hill through the Spanish quarter and an array of cafes and restaurants etc.

This was a 5 star experience in Naples. Rooms are spacious, very clean and well furnished. The staff are very friendly and helpful in making your stay in Naples enjoyable. The roof top area is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The hot and cold breakfast included int price is of a high standard. We would definitely return to this hotel when visiting again. Excellent location

La Ciliegina offers a location very central to everything on and around Via Toledo, including the Molo Beverello (10-minute walk) and the Municipio Metro station (5- minute walk). Our room was adequately large and very quiet. The rooftop terrace has splendid views of the city of Naples and beyond, including Mount Vesuvius, and a very welcome hot tub. The price is fair for the property amenities and the location. Perhaps the best feature is the tasty breakfast served with grace and style by Alcy, a lady with a great smile. We recommend this hotel to others and hope to return ourselves.

At first, the hotel doesn't look very inviting. It is hidden in an alley, and it feels as if you were entering an apartment building. There is no real lobby or reception on the ground floor, but you will find it on the 3rd floor. ||But all of those first impressions are forgotten once you reach your room. The rooms are very spacious, bright, clean, and tastefully decorated. You really feel in a luxury hotel. The bed and linens are very luxurious. The bed is one of the best I have seen in a hotel and no surprise since they are Hästens bed. ||The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was included but very basic. |Location wise, the hotel is just off the main historic centre of Napoli. About 15 minutes walking. But the area is nice, lively and close to Castel Nuovo. ||We had a car, and although the hotel doesn't have parking on site but there are plenty of car parks around. So overall, we had a very nice experience despite the not so good first impressions, and I think the price is fair for what you get.

We had a wonderful stay at La Ciliegina Lifestyle Hotel. Our spacious room was bright, and airy with modern decor and high ceilings. Free breakfast was ample and served with a smile. The landscaped furnished roof deck is perfect spot to unwind from a fun day in Naples. Best of all, Esraa and her colleagues at the front desk were professional, helpful, kind and courteous. Five stars all around!

This hotel was perfect for our needs as a spot to be after our flight from the U.S., for a quick Naples visit, then on to the Amalfi Coast and returning for a final night before our return flight. Though not opulent, it is fresh and bright with very clean and nice rooms, a small yet caring staff, a good location, and a decent breakfast included in what we felt is a very reasonable room rate. We were uncertain when booking last November but shouldn't have been. It was a nice little hotel we're glad we picked.

This hotel is located on the second and third floors of a building adjacent to Piazza Municipio. It’s not the usual standard of hotel in which we’d normally stay, but it was adequate. For my liking the room was a bit small, not much bigger than a cruise ship cabin but my wife thought it was good. For some inexplicable reason, when we went to bed on the first night, there was only a bottom and top sheet. I had to go to reception and asked them for a blanket or duvet, which they duly provided. I still didn’t find out why it was missing in the first place. The breakfast offering was okay but thank goodness the coffee was good. The stand out facility for us was the rooftop area. Lots of shade, seating, lounges and a jacuzzi. A number of people took drinks and snacks up there at the end of a day touring. Would I stay here again? In all honesty no, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad.

Secret gem hotel , one of the best hotel I stayed while in Italy . Rooms comfortable and nice bathroom , great A/C to beat Naples heat .Near important areas such as Molo Beverello and Via Toledo . Breakfast was good with great service from. Alcedea . Staff was all kind and especially please forgive me overnight man who had to deal with my bidet overflow in the middle of the night but he was prompt and helpful providing great service even before I left with an early breakfast . Francesco and a female front desk were also great . Will return to this property soon !
