La Ciliegina Lifestyle Hotel

This is my third time at this hotel. Welcoming and polite staff. Large clean and modern rooms with tasteful furnishings. Much better breakfast choice than most Italian hotels. The cherry (la ciliegina) on top of it all, is its position, right in the centre of Naples, with S. Carlo just around the corner.

I will start by saying that the overall hotel is pretty nice. It was very clean and the staff was a accommodating . The breakfast each morning nice and the rooftop patio very nice. Also the remote controlled sunroof windows were awesome and the bathroom amazing. The only thing I did not like is the elevator that leads up to the reception area on the third floor was very cramped small and not ventilated properly. It is very rickety in my opinion and once you come out on to the third floor you have about a two foot wide walkway overlooking a three story drop with thin railing, which was very intimidating, other than that it’s a pretty decent little hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location near a Metro station and close to the port. The room was really well equipped, very clean and the shower was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great views across the city from the rooftop bar. |Breakfast was nice, with a good selection.|Yes, the hotel is tucked away and the lift isn’t big, but it isn’t an issue at all, 2 of us fitted in easily with a big case. |It was nice not to be in a big format hotel in the city.

Room 1011 - close to front desk so too much noise. Also, could hear people in the next room talking. reception is located on the 3rd floor in an office building. The room was a nice size. Safe, mini bar, water replaced every day, body products including body lotion, robe & slippers. King bed & pillows - comfortable. A/C worked great. Welcome glass of Prosecco. Good location- near Spanish Quarter. Lots of restaurants in the area.||Breakfast was ok. Very nice staff. Eggs on buffet. Can order specialty coffee.

We were in Naples for 2 nights at the start of a 2 week trip to Italy. It was a great start. the hotel reached out to us almost a month prior to arrival to confirm. They offered a car service to get from the airport which was very helpful. It was probably a bit more expensive than a taxi but it was easy and convenient. The hotel is just off the square in front of the port. Very convenient to shopping and a multitude of food option. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were all very friendly and accomodating. The room was a little on the small side, but overall comfortable. The rooftop hot tub and chairs were a great place to close the day. We were overall very happy with La Ciliegina and felt we got good value. Would happily return.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately the bed was rather uncomfortable we had two single mattresses pushed together but they were at different heights so not ideal. The Jacuzzi shower in the en-suite is really small and not suitable to have a comfortable shower in. The most disappointing thing was our room was close to the reception which was quite noisy at times including early hours of the morning it was either people talking or what sounded like deliveries and boxes being opened so we didn’t sleep great throughout our stay. The breakfast was tasty but the room was so small and felt a little uncomfortable when the room was full. The best thing about the hotel is the roof terrace which is a nice place to escape to after the hustle and bustle of the city. We didn’t go in the hot tub but it didn’t look overly clean from what we saw. The location is close to the shops, restaurants and the port. The hotel is clean and simple and makes a good base for Naples but I would only recommend staying if the price was good value at the time of booking.

Hotel is in a great location, rooms are spacious and airy.. Some have a view of the street.. Ours did, our son's looked on to path way around hotel.||Staff were all lovely and very welcoming.||Breakfast wasn't great.. 3 out of 4 mornings the bacon, eggs, sausages were stone cold since the warming plate wasn't turned on.||Hate saying negatives since the staff were lovely but feel it's important to be honest.. We probably should've said re cold food at breakfast how've decided just to have cereal with yogurt (no milk for cereal)..||I imagine the rooftop area is a great place to relax, if you have time.. We didn't. ||Location 10/10|Staff 10/10|Room 7/10|Breakfast 5/10||Overall I give 4/5 stars because of location and staff.
