We arrived from Dubai and booked two rooms at Le Clef Champs-Élysées. From the start, the stay was uncomfortable — on our second night, the hotel asked us to change rooms. They moved our belongings from one room to another, and during this process, one of our bags — a Chanel bag — was stolen.
This was not just any bag. It contained two pairs of shoes, personal belongings, and, most importantly, my mother’s medical tube, which she urgently needed after her surgery. Losing these items caused her immense stress while she was already in a vulnerable state.
What shocked us most was the hotel’s response. They said they would “look into it,” but they never did. The bag was never recovered, we were never compensated, and the staff acted as if nothing had happened.
For a hotel that positions itself as five-star luxury, the lack of accountability, security, and care for its guests is unacceptable. This was one of the most upsetting hotel experiences we have ever had, and I cannot recommend this property.
