My wife and I stayed here for a few days when celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. The hotel is located just a 5 mins walk from the Louvre but is tucked away from the busyness of that area. We got the train from CDG and walked from the nearest station. It was about a 13-15 min walk with a suitcase and was absolutely fine. ||Upon arrival were greeted by lovely staff when we arrived, offered a drink and shown all of the facilities around the lobby. We had booked a premier suite which was lovely - we had told them we were celebrating our anniversary so were greeted to a bottle of champagne, a box of fudge, balloons and rose petals everywhere which was such a nice touch! The room had a little kitchenette with all you would need to cook for a couple (though we didn't use it) and a washing machine. The bed was actually two beds pushed together - we would have preferred a double bed, but it was fine, and the giant round top bath in the room was gorgeous! It also had a decent size en suite with a large walk in shower. We were really surprised by how quiet it was with the windows shut as there is a busy cross junction just 30m from the hotel, but we couldn't hear it at all. ||They have a help your self/honesty bar in the lobby which was a really nice touch, though we didn't use it as we were out and about most of the time.||The hotel is in a great location and most tourist places are walkable if you are willing to. We walked to Notre Damm, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph and many more. It also has great transport links if you wish to travel by bus/metro.||Would absolutely stay here again!

La Clef Louvre is a great hotel -- and for us, it was a breath of fresh air in comparison to what we started with earlier in the week. ||We had been staying at another Paris hotel for a week-long business visit...but - oy. I won't sully this review with the details from Hotel #1, except to say that we finally got to the point that we needed to repack and search for another location on the fly. ||La Clef Louvre had an opening though, and bailed us out. Very lucky for us!||We would definitely stay here again, and will be recommending La Clef Louvre to our business associates. The hotel highlights:||--Beautiful room: well appointed, clean, and spacious enough to have a meal, do some work...and relax. We were on the seventh (top) floor and can recommend this, especially in the cooler months - our room had lovely skylights and a window by the table so we could catch the breeze while we worked. Good lighting, closet space, & plenty of outlets to plug in our traveling office. ||--Friendly service: Quick & efficient front desk. When we ran into a minor issue (room safe malfunction), the maintenance man was fast to respond, helpful, and graciously kind.||--Stellar location: The hotel is literally steps away from the Louvre & Tuileries Garden, plus very close to Galeries Lafayette, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou, Rue de Rivoli & Le Marais neighborhood, etc. And yet...despite being close to central Parisian 'action,' it was really quiet at night. Good soundproofing on the windows, plus just far enough down a narrower side-street to tamper noise from the crowds.||If you're looking for a solid base for exploring Paris - this is it.

This review is primarily about their lack of professionalism and extremely rude behavior. ||Arrived at this hotel only to be told there is no hot water and was offered to be transferred to one of their other locations. However, we specifically booked this hotel to be in this location (not near the Eiffel Tower or the Champs-Élysées) so we declined but asked to be refunded and to use their telephone to make other arrangements. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful - very unlike what a 5 star hotel should be. We were told we would only be refunded if we booked the hotel with a "refundable" option. After some arguing, Florian agreed that he would refund us but would not provide any receipts or documentation of the refund. ||Once we were able to use their phone to make other arrangements, within a few minutes one of their staff started yelling at us to give back the phone immediately (mid phone call) because they "get a lot of phone calls at this time" and our using the phone was inappropriate and he thought we had enough time using it. He basically snatched the phone off my ear and out of my hand. Luckily we were able to use google voice and make other BETTER arrangements that way but it took us significantly longer bc we had to redo the whole thing after having the phone taken away from us. We also had to go through our credit card company to get the hotel stay fully refunded. ||Will NEVER return and would NOT recommend to anyone.

The temperature in paris is 7 degrees centigrade, with a thermal sensation of 2 degrees centigrade. ||I arrived in Paris at 03:00 pm.||I noticed that the heating in the room was not working well.||The Employee confirmed that there was something wrong and did nothing. ||He ended his shift and left.||I lived for dinner at 6:00 pm.||I reported the problem again to reception. ||I got back from dinner at 9:30 pm, but everything was the same way.||I demanded a solution, as it was a 4-star hotel with a daily rate more than 400 euros.||They brought a broken portable heater. ||It worked for 15 minutes and stopped. ||The hotel's disregard for the guests is impressive and unaceptable. ||What can we do?||DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!

Really great hotel right next to the Lourve. The room was simply amazing, had large French windows that faced the main street and had good views of Fountaine De La Nymphe. I loved the French architecture and furnishings in the hotel and in the room and the balcony was great for cooling off at night. The large king bed was soft and luxurious and despite being jet lagged had no trouble falling asleep. The best feature was having a kitchenette so we could prepare food using fresh French ingredients.

What a gem of a hotel. We stayed here in August 24 with the kids in a junior suite. The location is so central it is within walking distance to many major attractions, all the amenities you could want and plenty of restaurants. The Louvre is a minute across the road,a few minutes then into Jardin du Tuileries and from there you can walk down the river to the Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Palais Garnier, Galererie Lafayette,Pompidou Centre etc. It's a little bit further to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and Jardin du Luxembourg but still very doable.Still lots of Paris Olympics 2024 sites to see with the Paralympics coming up.||Our favourite find was hanging out at the beautiful Jardin du Palais Royal which backs on to the hotel...a stunning location to take your breakfast pain au chocolates and coffee to to eat in the sunshine next to the fountain.||We would go back in a breath. The hotel itself was attractive, clean, peaceful. There was some noise as you would expect in a city centre but nothing that spoiled our stay. The kitchenette in the suite was very helpful having the kids.Staff are really helpful, attentive and respectful and put up with our poor French! We will definitely stay again. Practising my French as we speak!

DON’T STAY HERE!!! We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights.Great location but terrible hotel. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Very outdated, dirty, smells bad, loud, no decent cleaning service. Bed is like a brick, couldn’t sleep at all. And the worse part is that there was no hot water for over a day and nobody at the hotel could provide any help/assistance. Manager of the hotel was helpless!

It was a wonderful stay. I would like to thank Ms. Ruiqin Shen's patience and professionalism which helped me a lot in Paris. Without doubt I will choose this hotel again, because I believe the staff's professionalism represents the hotel's professionism.
