La Clef Louvre Paris by The Crest Collection

Wonderful hotel. Very comfy rooms, well appointed - lovely touches of quality bathroom products and yummy treats. Having large balcony, lounge area, full kitchen and washing machine so good. Staff were super friendly. The location would not be my first choice - a bit too many (other) tourists for my liking (yes, I appreciate the irony) but my son wanted to be near the Louvre and it was very convenient for all major attractions. But most of Paris is. Would stay again, if only they could move to the left bank!

I have stayed at the Clef Louvre Paris for many years when visiting Paris. The location, very quiet yet within walking distance of the Louvre and multiple restaurants, shopping and sights is excellent. This stay was my first time back at this hotel in over 7 years and likely my last time there. I am sad to write that this hotel is starting to show signs of its age and of poor maintenance based on the room I was given and considering its price category. The room smelled of mold, the cupboard drawer containing the safe could not be closed, and the cupboards containing the fridge and washer-dryer were broken. Finally the bath tub drained very slowly and the telephone style shower head did not work. I asked to be changed to another room but was told that there were no other available rooms in my price category by the front desk staff. The breakfast, for 35 Euros, is expensive but excellent. There is a small very functional gym on the premises. I feel that I paid a 5 star price for a 2-3 star stay. At this price you can do way better in the same part of Paris for way less money in my opinion.

Excellent location one block from the Louvre. This elegant property is in great proximity to cafes, dining and many other attractions and nightlife. Exceptional service and amenities With a spacious room, no charge laundering of clothes an nice kitchenette as well. Our new favourite in Paris !!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The receptionist Fewien Chinese, was extremely rude and unhelpful, with a very bad attitude from the moment I arrived. It really gave a terrible first impression. On top of that, the elevator was out of service for two full days, and with only one elevator working in the whole hotel, it was a nightmare to move around. For a place that calls itself a hotel, this level of service is unacceptable. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone!!!

We really enjoyed the hotel and experience. The staff was great, our room was very nice, and the location is fantastic. Overall, I would recommend this to friends and family.

Had the privilege of staying here for a week. The staff could not possibly have been more helpful or accommodating. It is spotless and has the uniqueness of being somehow very modern with a wonderful old world charm and ambience.|If you are going soon (spring, summer of 2025) be prepared for the street to be under construction. Sounds like it should be a nuisance, but it wasn't. |The Louvre is almost right out your front door and there are wonderful restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

The room is marvellous: spacious, excellent ergonomics, full of facilities, with a full function kitchen! The location is great for shopping, walking around and food. The service is very good in all areas. So impressed with the hotel. Enjoy!

La Clef Louvre is a great hotel -- and for us, it was a breath of fresh air in comparison to what we started with earlier in the week. ||We had been staying at another Paris hotel for a week-long business visit...but - oy. I won't sully this review with the details from Hotel #1, except to say that we finally got to the point that we needed to repack and search for another location on the fly. ||La Clef Louvre had an opening though, and bailed us out. Very lucky for us!||We would definitely stay here again, and will be recommending La Clef Louvre to our business associates. The hotel highlights:||--Beautiful room: well appointed, clean, and spacious enough to have a meal, do some work...and relax. We were on the seventh (top) floor and can recommend this, especially in the cooler months - our room had lovely skylights and a window by the table so we could catch the breeze while we worked. Good lighting, closet space, & plenty of outlets to plug in our traveling office. ||--Friendly service: Quick & efficient front desk. When we ran into a minor issue (room safe malfunction), the maintenance man was fast to respond, helpful, and graciously kind.||--Stellar location: The hotel is literally steps away from the Louvre & Tuileries Garden, plus very close to Galeries Lafayette, Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou, Rue de Rivoli & Le Marais neighborhood, etc. And yet...despite being close to central Parisian 'action,' it was really quiet at night. Good soundproofing on the windows, plus just far enough down a narrower side-street to tamper noise from the crowds.||If you're looking for a solid base for exploring Paris - this is it.
