La Closerie des Capucines

We were upgraded to the amazing Manhattan Suite - a wonderful light space with super comfortable bed and sofa. Lovely touches like candles, chocolates, locally made drinks in the mini bar discretely hidden in the walk in closet - and the bathroom ... Pity we had to come home o normality but it was a wonderful weekend escape . The other rooms are also individually furnished and lovely. Breakfast was worth leaving our lovely suite for , fresh local produce served with such grace. The quiet, fragrant gardens, pool and sauna all provide a time for relaxing and detente. My only comment - a small coffee machine in the room would have been the icing on the cake!

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The room was elegant and comfortable, as was the bed. Bathroom was high end with terrific walk in shower. Breakfasts were the highlight of the day. We can’t express high enough appreciation of the kindness and consideration shown to us by Zelie. She took care of all of out restaurant reservations and helped us with access in and out of the property. THANK YOU!

Loved our stay here. The details in the accommodation were perfect, the grounds were delightful and the breakfast sublime, but most importantly the hospitality was unparalleled. The wonderfully expansive and generous hospitality Elise shared with us took an already great stay to the next level. Can't wait to return!

A delightful and peaceful spot. The house is beautifully renovated, the rooms large , comfortable, and well appointed. The garden leading down to the river is charming, and the staff friendly , welcoming but still highly professional. Perfect stay !

A true hidden gem! Each time we come, it's like a second home away from home and we are taken care of to the full extent. The rooms are impeccable and the service is to another extent. Thank you once more Zélie and Elise!

We had the most incredible stay here with friends! One of my most memorable trips of my adult life, the hotel is gorgeous and clean, the staff is so warm and welcoming. I would go out of my way to come back here again. Would love to come in the summer for the pool, but it was equally wonderful on a snowy winter weekend. 100 out of 5 stars!

This is such a special place to stay. We traveled with two other couples during a snowy few days in the gorgeous village of Arbois. The house itself is so lovely, unique, welcoming, and cozy. Having a stocked kitchen was such an asset and the common areas really made this house feel like our home during our stay. The breakfast is exquisite! Elise and Zélie are incredible and will make you feel like family. There were so many personal touches throughout our stay that really made a difference. Thank you for treating us like royalty! We cannot wait to return.

A lovely, boutique B&B in the heart of Arbois. Super helpful & friendly staff. Our room was on the top floor with views over the town and countryside. Has a small pool with loungers, there’s also a sauna! Very quiet and peaceful. They don’t do lunch or dinner however, there’s a small fridge for guests to put food or wine, and small selection of chilled products from an honesty bar.
