We called to make a reservation for a dinner for 12 people several days before yesterday and with great expectations we went there. We were quite shocked when we found out that our table was set outside - and the temperature was only +10° C. Somehow it seems that it would have been reasonable to announce the outdoor dining from the reservation situation, after all it is already January. It became clear that we will never come here again

I visited based on Google reviews. It was great choice. We were seating outside, plenty of space, plesent surrounding next to the old church. Customer service very attentive. Food very fresh with just right portions. We had bacalao pil pil - lovely, secreto ibérico very good. Our daughter just went for chicken with fries and an egg. I highly recommend.

Fantastic food and great casual atmosphere. Staff very welcoming even though we had not reserved. Yes, per some prior comments, the service is a bit slow but just be patient and enjoy the experience. Food is well worth waiting for. We also really liked the fact we were not rushed to get the table back which is rare in high season. The staff kindly boxed our paella for takeaway which we couldn't finish as quantity was huge. We will definitely return.

Awful experience at this restaurant. We could have picked up the cues from the start. We sat at a table for more than 10 minutes before the person who appeared to be the maitre d slapped menu on the table without a word. We waited in excess of another 10 minutes to give our order which, despite us giving our best Spanish, was greeted with a series of grunts. We waited a long time for the tapas to arrive, and when they did the "patatas bravas" were like a half portion of McD fries. They were also cold. When asked to change them for hot ones, the waiter offered no apology. There was a good atmosphere in the bar, with a local duo playing and people enjoying a drink, but the dining experience was the worst we have experienced in Estepona, having visited several times. I'd advise you to avoid this place for dining.

Would not recommend!!! We waited over 1 hour for paella, and after getting it did NOT taste good!! It needed salt and other ingredients. The rice was very over cooked! It was seafood paella, but the only seafood in there was shrimps. The location was very cozy, but the food very bad. The staff was not very friendly and very difficult to communicate with in English. Not 22 euro per pers. worth. The toilet were not able to lock, which is bad for a “nice” restaurant, and the staff laughed when asking about the toilet lock.

Excellent food and service. My wife and I had dinner here on a recent stay in Estapona – the food was very good and some of the best we had in the town. It’s fairly informal, whilst serving more ‘upscale’ dishes. The location is great, being just outside of the main bar/restaurant areas and located in the old-town. We had lamb chops and fillet steak, followed by cheesecake – all dishes were excellent! They speak English, and are happy to help. The prices were on the high side compared to many other restaurants in the area (mains being between about EUR 15 and 28), but the quality is high and deserving of the prices. Good service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
