Freaking lovely bar, cocktails were delicious, reasonably priced, and made with love! The team is adorable, so much fun, so much dancing, and very innovative! I honestly I’m going to come back here every night of my trip Friday night cap

If you come here once, you’ll find yourself coming back again and again. This bar has it all: a stunning interior that you’ll want to keep admiring, a great playlist, and delicious, high-quality cocktails. I want to express my deep gratitude to the entire staff for their excellent service, high level of professionalism, and the great atmosphere they create. P.S. Be sure to ask Gabriele (the manager) to make you a Negroni - it’s the best one I’ve had in Barcelona! Highly recommend 🩷

La Confiteria is a cocktail bar with a very intimate atmosphere thanks to the soft lighting and the retro decor. The cocktails are good with balanced in taste. The staff is attentive and willing to advise you in case of indecision as to what may be the most appropriate drink for your taste.

This bar was recommended by a local but we forgot about it until one day when we were walking back to our hotel... We had so much fun here! The bar staff were very friendly and professional. These are true mixologists who are passionate about their craft. The signature cocktails were delightful and I got to try a super top shelf vodka which was poured with such pomp and ceremony that I felt like a princess. I live in London so I didn't find the prices particularly expensive, however, I also didn't buy my own drinks! 😜

Unbelievably expensive. Bad drinks, slow service, barely any liquor in the drinks. The only good thing is the cool decor inside. And it is pretty awesome inside, but I have seen the same idea done better in other bars in Europe. The cocktail I ordered was terrible. Allegedly, it was mezcal. It only tasted of apertifs and was unbearably sweet, nothing like a martinez should be. I could not finish it. My companion ordered a basic vodka with soda and it was 11€! There wasn't even much vodka in it. The service was not unfriendly, just very neglectful. Not in a malicious way, just in a careless one. The prices are unreasonable for the experience and quality.

Amazing selection of very well made cocktails, including 3 very tasty non-alcoholic options. Very clean, fun and decorated place. Amazingly nice staff. Toilets are clean. Great atmosphere but not too noisy as it’s not too big an indoor seating area.

Filthy bar. My partner and I stopped here for a quick drink after getting dinner in the area. We showed up and sat at the bar. We ordered two Old Fashioned's the drinks were okay. Towards the end, we noticed there was a dead fly in drink. It was a fruit fly which means they probably do not take much care to clean their work stations.

Great place for fun craft cocktails. I'm sure you can order an ordinary cocktail here but why be ordinary! The menu selection of unique fun cocktails makes this place lots of fun. I had the Sicilian Fizz which was a crisp refreshing gin drink enhanced with lavender. My friend had the Elderflower Gin and Tonic which was a fun twist on a classic cocktail! The atmosphere reminded me of an old library in a country estate which made relaxing and enjoying my cocktail even better. Another bonus is the bar is open until 2:30am so its a great stop for a late night beverage.

We walked about 30min from our hotel to the Hendricks gin bar next door on a Monday at 9:00pm. They weren't open. Their loss, as we walked in here and found an excellent mixologist and a fantastic atmosphere. We enjoying some great drinks and left without a care. My fiancé had the "alice in wonderland" and I the Elder flower gin and tonic. Try this place out!

Amazing cocktails!!! Stumbled upon this absolute gem of a bar right down the street from my hotel and I'm so happy I did! I ordered an Alexander Torres: brandy, cinnamon, toasted hazelnut liquor, cream and black truffle essence- the PERFECT after dinner drink! Good tunes, ice atmosphere, attentive staff who know what they are doing. I'll be back next time I'm in Barcelona!

Awesome place, great atmosphere. It was raining and it was the first place we ran into. Pretty cool place on our last night in Barcelona. Definitely a bar to go!

Great cocktail bar! The Penacilin was a delicious whiskey concoction with an interesting ginger finish. Their mocktails were great too. Highly recommend for a drink.

This place does cocktails right...and they have a fabulous staff! Worth the walk from the city center. I introduced them to an Amaro daiquiri and they were so grateful, they bought us a round of Amaro shots. Claudio and crew are the best and we hope they make it to Chicago so we can take them out to our spots!!

Great place for cocktails!! The vibe reminds me of a mix of a speakeasy, saloon, and jazz bar all in one. The craft cocktails are prepared carefully by well dressed bartenders. The cocktails are delicious, I would definitely come back!

This is NOT a bar... This is an educatioal palace of specially crafted drinks. These mixologist will master any drink you request. I ordered the Rum Fashioned and this is a must order for those who like Rum. The presentation is amazing and it's made of Zacapa Rum 23. DO NOT leave Barcelona without giving this place a try.

Great service, amazing ambiance and perfectly concocted cocktails! Quaint and charming. THE best espresso martini that has ever touched my tongue. My hubs agreed. It was a perfect little dessert after a big dinner we had down the street. Creamy and rich, but not too much; just sweet enough and a wonderful dark espresso flavor. I wish I could bring this drink back home with me. One spot I will absolutely be coming back to on my next Barcelona trip.

Old school, adorable, romantic and charming. It's one of those places that will transport you in time a bit. Modern cocktails and a willing to please staff. It's a favorite spot when I want a complicated alcoholic beverage or a beautiful atmosphere to write or visit with a friend. Also, they have power outlets next to almost every table, so for those of us with perpetually dying phones, it's a good place to recharge. Snacks from 2-8 euros or so, but made in house and nice; draft beer from about 2 euros, and fancy cocktails run about 8.

Great place!! Historic confitería converted to a beautiful bar. The bartender makes amazing drinks, he is very cool!! A great place to go to for a nice drink.

My friends and I accidentally stumbled across this bar in our attempts at checking out the bar next door that a friend recommended. Turns out it was closed for the evening, so we ended up seated at the bar at La Confiteria and it was the best thing that could've happened to us on our trip. The bartenders were so warming and could whip up a mean cocktail. Maria Jovanna (I hope that's how you spell her name) is absolutely amazing! We watched as she prepared each drink with such precision and did not hesitate to let us know what her next concoction was as we stared in awe at the science behind her art. Being our last night in Barcelona, I could not think of a better way to have ended our vacation than sharing delicious drinks with my friends at this lovely bar. If you enjoy rum, order the the Rum Fashioned! By far the best twist to an old fashioned!

Stumbled into this gem very late on two separate evenings. Between my boyfriend and I both nights, we tried 8 of their cocktails (with some repeats in between) and each was amazinggg! We had different mixologists both times and they were so fun to talk to. Visit for some interesting and delicious drinks.

So I'm not a fan. We ordered wine here and went with our friends who live in Barcelona. And when our drinks came we got a smaller portion of wine than the other customers got. My friend said it was cause we were tourists.

This was the best mistake that ever happened to me (bar next door closed). They have such an amazing atmosphere with the most attentive bartenders. It's honestly a cocktail palace, there is a drink for everyone's taste palette. Maria Jovanna is hands down the perfect mixologist.
