La Costa Motel

What an amazing motel! We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are beautifully equipped and really comfortable. It was super easy to find, and check in was even easier. The location is fantastic - less than a block from the beach, and only another block from the freeway.||We arrived earlier than expected, so we wanted to head down to the beach - not only are there beach towels in each room we're encouraged to use, but a quick call to Ros meant the kids also had boogie boards! ||The breakfast (plus extras!) inclusions were really generous, and absolutely made our kids' day.||In the end, we were so sad only be staying overnight... I think we'll need to build a couple of nights into our journey next year! Of course it isn't the cheapest motel going around - but I still think it was great value for a really memorable stay.

Brilliant location - opposite the GC airport Very clean, super comfortable beds & bedding. Air conditioning worked very well The basket of goodies was beyond wonderful! Plenty for each of us and top quality too. Love the real milk and the oat milk inclusion. The info pack is excellent and it is very clear the owners are very passionate about caring for their guests. I stayed only one night with my 14 & 15 yr old kids Absolutely recommend.

Only spent one night at La Costa Motel unfortunately, as it was the greatest quirky, well renovated motel we have stayed in. The room was beautifully decorated, immaculate complete with lovely breakfast basket. Gorgeous little patio to enjoy a glass of wine & enjoy the well maintained outdoors. Thank you Ros & Aiden for a delightful stay, will definitely return.

We loved how eclectic this place was - different to the usual Plain Jane type motel you see everywhere else. The attention to detail sets this place apart. The complimentary breakfast basket (which I'm a sucker for), the beach towels and bag, the bikes we hired WITHOUT additional cost, shampoo/conditioner/soap, coffee machine, the list goes on. The ONLY con is the noise from adjoining rooms. I could've 'watched' next doors movie last night and needed ear plugs to drown out the sound. If you have quiet guests in the other room it wouldn't be a problem. But sound proofing would make a big difference. Would I stay again? YES! I've saved it for future reference. The service and extra goodies without additional cost and its beachy feel won us over. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Lacoste Motel was absolutely fabulous! The place is 100% faithful to its theme and exceeded all our expectations. Diane gave us a great deal and arranged a spacious, beautifully set-up room at short notice, which was truly appreciated. Rose, who was there during our stay, was a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and attentive. The whole experience was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. We will definitely be visiting again with our family in the future. Highly recommended – 100% worth it!

My family and I booked accommodation here & have been left beyond impressed. From our first conversation right through to the our stay we were most impressed. The service provided was lovely & the breakfast basket was such a beautiful touch! We will be back! Thanks guys!

Staying at La Costa is our family pre-fly out ritual and we love it so much! The cute rooms, the thoughtful welcome baskets and the location make this place the best spot to stay before flying out.

What a delightful find and close to Gold Coast Airport.The little extras like complimentary breakfast and beach bag with beach towels an outdoor seating area at the front door. Room was very clean. Will definantley come here again.

Booked at the last minute due to a cancelled flight, with no alternatives available until the next morning. It's within walking distance of the airport, even with heavy bags. The staff were VERY friendly, more than happy to put in the extra effort for you. Not much if any soundproofing between rooms though, so hope your neighbors have the same sleep schedule planned that you do. A massive and very pleasing experience especially after dealing with a flight cancellation.
