La Costa Motel is a true hidden gem on the Gold Coast! It’s rare to find a quiet beach in the area, but this spot offers just that – a peaceful stretch of sand almost all to yourself. The motel is perfectly located, just a short stroll to the beach, and it captures a charming local Gold Coast vibe that feels like stepping back in time to how the coast was 20+ years ago. The motel itself is beautifully renovated, and the rooms, though compact, are thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. My family and I had an amazing time here and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing, nostalgic Gold Coast getaway!

La Costa was amazing. Love the old Gold Coast style. The rooms are the cleanest I have ever come across a very comfortable. So close to the airport that I walked. Also close to the beach and cafes/shops. Perfect place for a get away.

This is the cutest place ever! Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The coffee machine was a godsend in the morning, and free breakfast was great. Also loved the well-stocked mini fridge. Loved that is was close to the beach, with very friendly staff knowledgable of the local area for recommendations. Overall, with the attention to detail, this place has set the bar high.

Beautiful place, super quaint - clean and comfortable accommodation. Beautifully decorated with a generous breakfast basket in the room. I only stayed one night, however would definitely come back for a long stay next time. Late arrival fully accommodated and easy!!!

Di and John were fantastic hosts in the perfect location. The rooms were beautifully presented and the daily service from breakfast packs to towels to rubbish removal, was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for these hosts - can't recommend highly enough.

Small, basic but cosy room. Tastefully Renovated in keeping with the period of the building in a cute retro beach shack aesthetic. Large smart TV. Continental Breakfast included. Coffee machine and pods provided. Mini bar provided. Close to beach. Friendly owner with great communication. |No off street parking available which was disappointing.

LOVED this place - clean and comfortable. Close to airport and beach. The little added touches were wonderful and appreciated. Can I give it 10 stars???

This retro 50’s themed motel is such a vibe and ticks all the boxes for a great weekend getaway : Clean and spacious room, good room amenities, short walking distance to an almost private beach, handy beach towels and carry bag, and a bonus of a generous breakfast basket in arrival! Check-in and check-out was contactless and breezy. Good location to popular eateries along Kirra a few minutes drive away.

Booked at the last minute due to a cancelled flight, with no alternatives available until the next morning. It's within walking distance of the airport, even with heavy bags. The staff were VERY friendly, more than happy to put in the extra effort for you. Not much if any soundproofing between rooms though, so hope your neighbors have the same sleep schedule planned that you do. A massive and very pleasing experience especially after dealing with a flight cancellation.
