La Cot B&B

Great hosts Cristina and Nini; thank you for warm reception and great accommodations nice and close to the heart of the action of Catania. Just stayed one night enjoyed the city and its attractions and restaurants. Only one drawback is the noise coming from the street makes it difficult to sleep if you’re not used to it. We had earplugs so was not too bad, but our sleep quality suffered. So I guess better soundproofing would be ideal.

We stayed at the cozy and authentic La Cot B&B, and it was a truly amazing experience. The rooms were uniquely designed, with a lot of space and very comfy. But what made it even more special was the warm and welcoming hosts, Cris and Ninni! We stayed there for two nights, and from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always willing to provide us with everything we needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. We really felt like we met some inspiring people. And the breakfast was simple, homey and awesome! Overall, we would 100% percent recommend La Cot B&B to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. We wish we could come back again soon! :)

If you have the opportunity to stay at this glorious B&B take it. Ninni & Cristina are the most incredible hosts the breakfast was the best I’ve had in Sicily so far, and the rooms are not only comfortable (great beds and AC) but they are also beautifully decorated with an eclectic vibe and warmth that would be difficult to recreate. I would definitely stay here again! A fantastic experience for a great price.

Amazing experience! The location is just perfect, close to all the famous sites. Cristina was in touch with me since the beginning via WhatsApp to help me with my trip planning and once we reached there we were greet by the best Ninni which makes the best breakfast of the world (you have to try the granola). He was extremely sweet and kind and gave us amazing tips of where to go. Place is cozy, very clean and we felt like grandma home! Thank you guys, will go back again! ♥️🫶🏻

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights in July. We found it no problem (we did have sat nav). We were greeted by our very friendly host and shown the B&B. We had a choice of rooms and we took the upstairs one with its own private bathroom. The room was nice and big, the bathroom was clean. Our hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. He recommended a couple of places to eat, where to go etc. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, coffee, croissants, fruit, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, bread. We even had homemade cherry cake (delicious!!!). The location was fantastic - an hour from Syracuse and an hour from Taormina or Etna. Really can't recommend this B&B enough. The roads are a seperate issue but there is parking up and down the road so if you hire a car, you shouldn't have a problem parking it there (for free as well!). Lovely stay, we were both delighted, thank you so much!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at La Cot! The hosts are incredibly helpful and nice, they gave us a lot of useful information about what to see and do in and near Catania, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The place itself is also amazing, it is beautifully and uniquely decorated. Our room was huge and comfortable with a balcony overlooking Mount Etna, and we had a private bathroom (which wasn't actually connected to the bedroom but it was only ours to use so it wasn't a problem). There is also a common area where breakfast is served. We got fresh local delicacies including bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, tomatoes, croissants, jam, cereal, fruit, juice, and a hot beverage of our choice. The location of the B&B is also excellent, it's walking distance from the city centre and a 25 minute walk from the central train and bus stations. All in all, it's the perfect place to stay if you want to experience genuine hospitality in unique surroundings.

We spent four nights at La Cot, during the Christmas period and we couldn’t have been happier with the choice. The location is super convenient, right by the castle and a few mins walk from the markets and key areas of Catania.||We loved the decor and the vibe of the B&B, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and originally decorated, with interesting pieces. ||The breakfast is fantastic, freshly squeezed orange juice and plenty of choice every day, including Sicilian delicacies.||But probably the best of all are the hosts. Ninni was in charge when we were there and made our stay really pleasant. He gave us excellent tips for places to go and restaurants around town, he also found for us the best place ever for Christmas dinner!||We certainly recommend and will love to stay there next time we are back in Catania!||

Friendly and helpful owners gave us a lot of useful information. I spent a lot of time exploring the interior - a lot of small nice details. everything is so cosy, clean and tidy. Our bathroom had everything even a bidet. Towels were changed every day. Heating works perfectly. Mountain View from the window. Great location - all cultural sites, tour highlights and shops are behind the corner. Delicious breakfasts and beautiful table setting. Every day we’ve been surprised by different fresh pastry and bakery, relished fresh ricotta and fruits. Nikki makes a terrific cappuccino. The building has an elevator. The street is a bit noisy But I enjoyed this Italian noise. so don't forget the earplugs. We have had our own bathroom but it was next door to our room so do not forget your house wear. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend. I would like to return.
