It's ok here. That's thé best I Can Say. Thé room we had was large with a large bed and a view over thé bay. It's all a bit tired and needs more than just a paint job. Thé ice machine didn't work but you could get ice from thé bar. It's very expensive at thé bar . €15 a cocktail and €12 a Heineken. No Affligem. Thé beach is pleasant and so is thé pool. Thé stand out points for me were thé breakfast area over looking thé sea and thé rhum tastings by Serge who gladly translated into English. Thé location outside is a bit naff , just buildings restaurants etc.

I would love this hotel if they make some strategic changes and improvements starting with the front desk staff. But from reading prior reviews of same, doesn’t look like the person in charge there or owner cares. The receptionists are NOT courteous or friendly. They need training in customer service fast and NOW. They are downright rude. I cringe thinking back of their tone and terse responses during my stay. The other staff members were outstanding always with a bonjour or bonsoir madame :) and happy to help! Next, the hotel needs to invest in well positioned oscillating fans for the common areas which is only comfortable after sundown. The only room with a huge fan is the club area which covers part of the dance floor. All other areas are too HOT! If it’s a marketing strategy, it’s failing as it’s hurting this hotel’s guest satisfaction score. Even the musicians who perform daily have to bring their own fan which is a testament of how hot it is there. It’s a worthwhile investment that can’t be expensive to execute. Other than that, had a good week even with broken elevator most of the week and no water for a couple of hours.:))

We spent our wedding anniversary night here and were pleased. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It is good to be respectful and speak a little French though many staff know some English. Google translate helped us communicate words we didn't know. The beach is wonderful, and there are jet skis to rent but we did not. Breakfast is fantastic and plentiful. The restaurants and bar are expensive but the views and sounds of the ocean are lovely and worth it, along with the great service. I was concerned after reading reviews so will comment on those. There are bugs outside but it is the tropics and expected. We only saw 1 mosquito in our room. We stayed on the 4th floor, maybe that helped? Room numbers are hard to find but we figured it out. Elevators only go up to 3rd floor so keep that in mind. The buildings need maintenance. Salt air affects concrete rebar. That should be fixed with the rates being charged, but some work is being done. I smelled a slight musty odor in the room but my husband did not. We had an ocean view and it's hard to keep moisture out, especially when it rains everyday. It was tolerable and not overwhelming. We would suggest the hotel install a holed rubber mat on the corridor as luggage wheels can be heard in the room. We turned up the fan and used white noise. Overall we recommend staying here. The pros outweigh the cons. We were comfortable and enjoyed our time.

Not worth it – Poor service, stolen cash, and misleading “all-inclusive” We had a very disappointing stay at La Creole Resort and Spa. •    Room key stopped working, and we were locked out for hours before anyone helped. •    Told the bar was open, but when we went, we were denied service for no reason. •    Cash was stolen from our room, including tips left for housekeeping—and it’s likely someone who wasn’t even housekeeping came in. •    The “all-inclusive” package is a joke. So many restrictions and hidden rules that it felt like anything but inclusive. If you’re looking for good service, peace of mind, and a true resort experience, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This place was stressful, disorganized, and dishonest.

We have visited this hotel three times with our family including 3 young kids. |The hotel is beautiful and the food is really good quality local influence and good value. The pool is lovely and the beach is picturesque and stunning. |However as frequent travelers there are some areas of improvement. The hotel needs to cater better to world travelers. For example kids club is only open on French school holidays. The service around the pool is minimal and you have to hunt for the man or go to the bar. Americans and UK people are willing to pay for good service as they are used to pool services |The AC and water doesnt work well and first day stopped in night. |The breakfast buffet is ok but not on par with other island hotels. The coffee is warm. I wouldn’t be motivated to eat dinner there but so many good places to eat outside |The jet skis service is really good. |I think the hotel has so much more potential to attract more worldwide travelers if a bit more research was done on other hotels in carribean.

Our first trip to the Caribbean and we loved it. |The hotel was just as we had expected it to be very clean, nice staff, plenty of breakfast variety. |Beach access is good loads of beach beds and sun shelter, the sea is shallow and lovely and warm. Night entertainment is varied we enjoyed it all. Large swimming pool.|Don’t compare the star ratings to the UK it’s the Caribbean if you want Hilton 5 star then book the Hilton don’t moan.

The hotel staff was beyond kind and accommodating. I don’t speak French and I was never made to feel uncomfortable. This was my birthday trip and the staff remembered that it was my birthday and also gave me a special treat. The Zewag restaurant was delicious! They even helped me find food off of the property, which I appreciated. The property is beautiful and it’s also in a great location near the airport.
