Very quaint little restaurant with amazing food. We came across it by accident and we were so glad we stopped there.

Dropped in for a light lunch as we walked past to visit the chateau. The attractive setting is matched by the quality of the food: freshly made and delicious. Enjoyable choice of local wines. Excellent English spoken.

Everyone was super friendly and explained the menu to us. We had an assortment of dishes - including duck, mushrooms, charcuterie, salad and the white sausage. Everything was light and delicious and tasty. Nothing too heavy. Dessert was a choice of 5 different types of tarts - we had the Apple and Rhubarb. Highly recommended!

If U want the most amazing food, after visiting castles all day. U must go here. Everything was freshly made with seasonal vegetables & cooked to perfection. The desserts were special! Thanks for a wonderful find.

Quite amazing, doesn't look like much, but the service is impeccable, the plates delicious and inventive. Since there are very few lunch places near Chateau de Chaumont, we were surprised to find this not-so-touristy place with excellent quality and decent prices providing an all-around satisfactory experience.

This restaurant is a classic find. We were really hungry and knew that the food inside the Château de Chaumont would be mediocre and expensive, so stopped by this cute little restaurant to grab a quick meal. There's free parking on the streets and the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating area. When the weather is warm and nice, who wouldn't want to take advantage of the wonderful outdoor seating area! The menu was in French , but the waiter explained the menu in English. We ordered a coffee and a plate of shiitake mushrooms with goat cheese. Coffee was really good. And the meal was delicious. Actually one of the most simple and best meals we've had in France. With a side of mushrooms, veggies and the shiitake mushrooms with goat cheese, we finished up the plate in no time! I highly recommend stopping here for a meal when you are planning to visit Château de Chaumont.

We had a wonderful meal outside enjoying this quaint location. The service was delightful with Lucy, our server. Blanche, the cook (we got to know them both) served up some wonderful French cuisine with great conversation. I recommend eating here!
