La Disquera

As a first time visitor, I enjoyed La Disquera. The cocktails were superb and the food was delicious. Where it started to go down for my experience was with the vibe and the service. When we got there the place was full and the server very helpful located us at a small spot in one of the back rooms, and we placed the order before he left. We ordered food and cocktails and the cocktails arrived but the food took forever. We were almost done with our cocktails when I told the server to cancel our food order cause it never arrived and we were ready to go he said it’s coming in a couple minutes so we waited anyway and the food didn’t disappoint but the wait time did. The vibe of this place is strange. I’m not referring to it as an unsafe place, I mean that it’s weird ambiance. The decor is pretty chill but well thought out to the name of the place.

The vibe is amazing, you truly lose track of time while you're there. The food is excellent, full of flavor, and the cocktails are just as impressive. Special shoutout to Guillermo, who made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. He took his time explaining the menu and provided outstanding service. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to

Randomly wandered into here and had the most amazing night. It was busy but the vibes were perfect. Cocktail servers find you in the crowd. The dj on Saturday night was incredible and was so effortless in her execution. Be hip, cool, and go with the flow or you’ll likely be looked at like you don’t belong.

My favorite vibe out of any place in PR. Immaculate design. Immaculate music. Incredible, curated cocktails, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. My favorite bar by far

As a woman that enjoys sitting solo at the bar with a cocktail, I can say I always feel safe here, which is priceless. The music is always on point; from NIN to Fania and carefully curated disco, the decor feels intentional not random, and the sake list has gems like Sayuri. The chicken sandwich is pure perfection. I’m picky with vibes, and this place gets it. PS. Still holding out hope they bring back the legendary hot dog that vanished from the menu. Sometimes I dream about it 🥹

Didn't know a place like this existed in PR anywhere until a good friend took us here..kinda want to keep it a secret but won't as it's perfectly sized for a good time regardless of crowd size. the sound system, the vinyl records spinning and the rich musical history of the building and people all seem to mix and mingle just right to create a great buzzphere. The Cocktail menu is refined in a purposeful way to create what seems to be quick and simple but strong cocktails. Makes for a fun night if you have some fun friends, or come to make some. Staff was super friendly as well.kudos.

Wow this is a very cool bar and lounge. It's a bit hidden so it's not super popular yet. A nice variety of cocktail drinks, we loved the Moma and San Juan. The appetizers taste pretty good too. I would recommend coming early because it gets very busy after 9pm and you'll have a hard time finding a seat. The bar and service will also slow down due to demand after that time as well. Very cool crowd. Parking is always difficult in calle cerra so I recommend ubering or valet.

I personally loved this place. In reference to the negative reviews below, it's weird how you go to someone else's island, into one of their local safe spaces, to criticize what you find unsatisfactory. A lot of tourists come to Puerto Rico and are extremely inconsiderate of the culture, their spaces, and are completely ignorant of the history surrounding the Island. It's really tone deaf to leave those types of reviews and if you don't like it, just simply don't return. I personally loved the vibes here so much. Came here after pride and the music by Tayshayra was amazing. Drinks were super delicious and the bartender had a heavy pour. Chef's kiss!! I found the environment very inclusive and inspiring. The space was intimate, the decor was beautiful, the lighting made was cozy, and the service was great. Can't wait to come back .

Highly recommended but really fell short because of bad service. The drinks here were good and the decor was really cool - we came early but I can imagine its a really fun place for dancing late at night with some great disco music. However, the staff really acted like they did not want us here and seemed as though they were purposefully giving us slow service. We didn't eat but their menu looked great as well.

Came here with my wife after literally everyone in PR recommend it to us. The atmosphere is electric, it's such a vibe. The cocktails and drink offerings are extensive and high quality. The price point is great. The staff however treated us as unwelcome guests. Rolled their eyes and acted as if it was a bother that we came in to their bar. I do recommend this place simply for the vibe but just know customer service is lost on them.
