Love everything about this taco shop. If you haven’t tried then you must stop by for lunch or dinner. One of the best authentic taco places hands down in Buffalo. They recently added conchas to the menu and I’m so excited to try! Always satisfies my taste for tacos.

“La Divina Tacos: A Touchdown for My Taste Buds” I walked into La Divina Tacos the way Notre Dame walks into South Bend on a crisp fall Saturday—confident, hungry, and ready for glory. I wasn’t just here for lunch. No, my friends. This was a mission. A mission to find tacos worthy of a victory parade down Notre Dame Avenue. I ordered three tacos—two beef, one chicken—because even the greatest offenses need a balanced playbook. When that plate hit the table, it was like watching the Fighting Irish run out of the tunnel, the band playing, the crowd roaring, the heavens parting. The beef tacos? Absolute Heisman contenders. Tender, juicy, and seasoned like a perfectly executed goal-line stand. Each bite hit harder than a Notre Dame linebacker. I swear I heard the faint echo of the Victory March after my first bite. The chicken taco came in like a freshman quarterback who surprises everyone on the first drive of the season—light, flavorful, and unexpectedly electric. A real game-changer. The tortilla had just the right amount of chew, like turf under cleats on a crisp October afternoon. Service was faster than a well-timed blitz, and friendlier than a tailgate crew handing you a bratwurst. The staff had the kind of energy that makes you believe in miracles… or at least in extra guac. By the end of the meal, I felt like I’d just watched Notre Dame beat USC in the final seconds—satisfied, proud, and maybe a little emotional. If Lou Holtz were here, he’d probably tear up and whisper, “That’s taco football right there.” La Divina Tacos didn’t just serve me lunch—they gave me a fourth-quarter comeback for my soul. I’ll be back faster than a Notre Dame fan saying “This is our year.”

I definitely enjoyed this Mexican food restaurant. The atmosphere seems like you were in another country. I definitely enjoyed all the different decorations throughout the place. I ordered a variety of foods and savored every bite. I would definitely go back.

Always solid. The taste, quality and efficiency of the service here is top shelf. I've had just about every taco they have, and have never had an inconsistent meal. In addition to the tacos, you can't leave without snagging some rice and beans to go along with them. The drink selection is wildly extensive, and if you like cooking Mexican cuisine at home, you'll come across hard to find items on the back wall. If you need assistance in ordering anything, Alexis at the register is wonderful and willing to help out. Do yourself a favor and hit up La Divina.

Yum , the food was great ordered a few different taco all with grilled onion and peppers.. loved the toppings bar and there is a big drink selection

Probably tied for a second for my second favorite taco place than Buffalo. The carne asada tacos were definitely the best of what I had. The meat was extremely well seasoned and held its own in the taco. The fish taco was fine. And I wish there was a little bit more pineapple on my al pastor. Honestly, probably the best bang for your buck when it comes to Hispanic food around Buffalo

Top tier. Authentic, flavorful tacos. Great place all around with a cozy feel. Staff is great and is there to make food and spread good vibes.

I don't have any photos of the food because I devoured it too quickly for the camera to capture. La Divina never misses. Personal favorites include: steak torta, birria tacos, and rice and beans. The employees are always lovely. The inside is small but you can certainly sit inside and enjoy your food right away or opt for takeout. Just so delicious and satisfying every time.

Loveeee this place. I had been meaning to try it for a while but was finally able to go! Worth the hype. Its a really simple place, you just order the tacos that you want and they're ready pretty quickly. I was maybe waiting for 10 minutes. Birria tacos were amaaaziiinggg. Probably the best i've had. The other tacos were great too. I also really love the taco bar, how you can put on your own toppings. Also great prices too. I think i paid around 20$ total for 5 tacos. Totally recommend if you love an authentic taco!

Excellent and very authentic taco joint. Everything about this place screams delicious. I enjoyed steak tacos with some chips and queso. I also really love that they have a wide vary of Mexican colas. Service was quick and efficient. I'll definitely be back.

Hands down best tacos in Buffalo. I live in the southtowns but everytime I come up to the north towns I will go out of my way to come here

Cody from Omen Ink reccomended I get lunch here before my pokemon tattoo wayy back in July of 2022 and I never gave a review yet: The prices are decent, the in store selections offer a vast amount of goodies ranging from fresh food, spices, candy, a huge variety of soda! I NEVER saw a fruit punch Jarritos anywhere else and it tasted AMAZING. Their tacos and taco prices?? To die for!! When my bf picked me up after my tattoo appointment I dragged him in for dinner because it was just so yummy and so affordable that I had to go back the SAME day!! I haven't been back to the area since, but I definitely need to return because the food there is definitely worth the trip Food was amazing, service was amazing, price was amazing. You gotta try this place. HIGHLY recommend.

Still one of the best places to get some amazing cheap eats. Now don't get me wrong, you can add all kinds of extras and pay as much as anywhere. But you can also get yourself a couple tacos, dress them up at the bar, and absolutely not break the bank. Food is still phenomenal; parking lot is convenient with overflow on the street; and usually there's enough seating. Their bathroom is also super wheelchair friendly. Food options for a wide range of dietary preferences. Basically, a can't go wrong option. Love it.

Easy ordering process. Simple, authentic food options at very reasonable prices. Tons of drink options. Decent amount of seating. Perfect for a quick lunch or takeout.

Food is good but it's expensive and they charge you a takeout fee if you don't eat there so I don't even bother going anymore 3 tacos and some nachos was almost 25 bucks with the takeout fee

Incredible Mexican food in Buffalo NY! Prices are great and service is so fast. Such good horchata! Also has small Mexican grocery shelves on one side. Absolutely would recommend!

Decided to drive out of my way to try some birria tacos for the first time. FYI there is a parking lot out back. That's where we parked. Walking in reminded me of being on vacation because it's not like your standard American place. It was big and also had some groceries that looked all imported. The cashier was very kind! We ordered quickly and our food was ready 10 seconds later! Birria tacos come with a broth to dunk if you like but for me the meat is so juicy I found it unnecessary. The tacos are more fried with a juicy beef (think Barbacoa) with melty, gooey cheese. I ordered 3 but found they sat heavy in my tummy and the 1st two were nice and crisp but by the time I got to the bottom it was soggy from all the juices. I think if I got them again I would order without the broth and have them lined up next to eachother versus on top of one another so they don't get soggy like that.

As I keep chipping away at my list of bucket list Buffalo eats, I recently found myself at La Divina, since I've heard they have some of the best tacos in the area. Let me tell you -- the rumors are absolutely true. I was craving Mexican food for dinner and figured I'd give it a shot since it's been on my list forever. The service was insanely fast, I ordered my tacos and they were ready within a minute. They offer a well-stocked toppings bar so you can put whatever you'd like on what you order! As for my tacos, I opted for two molida (ground beef) and one pollo (chicken). Hands down, they're the most traditional I've been able to find around here. Buffalo is severely lacking in the traditional Mexican food scene, so La Divina is a hidden gem. The tacos were delicious -- I preferred the beef as the chicken was a little dry. But they were so flavorful, and they salsa they offered added the perfect kick. The icing on the cake? This place is insanely affordable. Three tacos ran me $11 total. In this economy, prices like that are basically unheard of. And the fact that the food is delicious makes it a total steal. So if you're on the search for traditional Mexican fare within Buffalo, look no further than La Divina. Seriously, you won't regret it!

I did eat from there years ago and enjoyed it. So we were in the neighborhood and also hungry. When I first walked in I immediately thought to walk out, actually said that to my wife. It was totally dead except for one couple and two workers, it was also very unappealing as it was very dark and pretty warm especially on a hot day. So we did order, we got two tacos, my wife got chicken and I got the steak. We were told if we wanted lettuce or sour cream it was extra, (lettuce?), we Ali ordered chips and used the salsa bar. The chips came out with the tacos and we proceeded to the salsa bar to try to add to the tacos and believe me it did not help. They were tasteless and dry! The chips were stale as can be and the sauces mediocre. Never again. Sorry LaDivina...

Stopped in after the Memorial Day parade with some family members. We entered in from the back door, to a strong fishy odor. I don't know if that's normal for this place, but the smell started to fade as we got closer to the front. Personally I wasn't too hungry, so I only ordered the rice which had absolutely no flavor. I took two bites and was ready to toss it. My sister ordered two items and said they were delicious (I can only take her word for it as I didn't try any). I'm leaving this review based on my sisters experience as she seemed to enjoy the food.

Went here to try their birria tacos and they are amazing! Just as great as I wanted them to be!! Everything seems very fresh! I was missing a steak taco when I received my order and they didn't even check to see if I paid for it before getting me the correct order! I was so appreciative! Would definitely go back!

Love this place. Helpful and friendly staff, and DELICIOUS authentic Mexican food. This is one of my top two places to get tacos in the Buffalo area. Grab a taco, a tamale, and a jarritos and you can't go wrong! Ambiance is nice with kind of a cafe feel with some grocery products available to purchase too. Spanish music is playing softly in the background so you can have an easy conversation with your food.

best best best tacos in buffalo. Not much more to say. Desserts are phenomenal too. Chill lowkey vibe. Help yourself dine in. Bar with taco toppings and salsa. Coolers filled with drinks you can purchase. Small grocery section with ethnic ingredients. Super worth it. Just don't expect fancy seating and vibes. SO DELICIOUS SO WORTH IT

The best taco place I have tried in Buffalo, NY! Coming from Toronto, I prefer this place over any taco place over in the city. My go to order is the 3 Birria tacos & they always fill me up. I love how they have the side bar so you can fill up on any toppings you want. Service is amazing and the food always comes out quick. The place itself is so beautiful and it makes me feel like I'm in Mexico. If you have room for dessert, try the tres leche, it is the best cake I've tried!

Been a long time fan of la Davina! About as authentic as we get in Buffalo- this coming from a California native! Docking one star because the tortillas always seem hard and not fresh- but they do have good flavor. Seat yourself setting, with a toppings bar that is stocked well and you are able to take to go as well in little containers. Don't forget the horchata!

The Birria tacos were delicious! Love that they have the toppings and salsa bar to get all the things you live on your food. Lots of drink options Fairly priced Customer service was fine Asada taco was delicious, although I prefer a flame grilled steak when eating asada

Still going strong with getting my tacos here! I started going here in 2017 I believe? And May 2020 was the start of going pretty much every Tuesday. I generally do take out, but I've also stopped in for food with friends, or before a concert downtown while on my way down there. Usually to grab a horchata or tamarind drink from behind the counter when I'm eating in. The addition of the extra tables is nice for those people who do eat in. The grocery part is less to accommodate the tables, but you can still get some items. My only complaint remains about the candy lol. The mango tamarind one runs out too fast, need to order extra boxes of it on your orders. ;-)

If I had to be honest with you, These might be the best quesadillas I have ever had! I had steak and chicken quesadillas that are so good, it made me want to come back for more, it was super delicious! And also, the cheese was the perfect amount they added there, the chicken was so tasty and the steak was super moist and delicious! It is a definite come back for this place! And the only place I will be going for quesadillas

This place is fast makes your food incredibly fast and right in front of you, this restaurant is definitely a powerhouse when pumping out food. I ordered their Birria tacos and a tamale. Their prices are super efficient especially for most restaurants prices they charge for Birria. My spouse ordered a few other variety tacos, and even the salsa on the side was delicious.

This place surprised me! It's a classic, street taco place with some really good selections. Not at all a full menu so makes for easier choices. Coming from SoCal where the Mexican food is amazing- I got to say- their tacos are really good. Recommend!

Had some very good tacos here when a friend and I stopped in recently. They sell corn husks and masa too. So the next time I wanna make tamales I know where I'm coming. This place makes me homesick for Los Angeles. In a good way. I'm impressed.

Excellent food in a Mexican store/restaurant and I can't believe I'm just now discovering it. I tried a Barbacoa Torta which was excellent, a Birria taco which is the best Birria I've had, and a steak taco...I tried a bit of each and I'm glad I did. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Amazing tacos. If you're in Buffalo and want authentic tacos, this is your spot. I tried the chicken, ribeye and birria and they were all delicious! They have a bar so you can add whatever toppings you want to your taco. Everything is made fresh when you order, and although there were a lot of people on line the wait to order and get food wasn't very long. They were very efficient. Service was great as well. I wanted to try a tamale but they were out of the chicken ones, but if you're looking for fresh authentic Mexican "street" food. This is your spot!!

Tacos! Behind in posting my review here. Visited about a month ago and really enjoyed our visit. Service was fast and friendly. There were quite a few people inside both on line to order and then waiting for their food but everything seemed to be moving at a decent pace. We ordered 4 different tacos but unfortunately one of the problems with a delayed review is I forgot exactly what they were called. I know there was chicken, shrimp, and cauliflower in 3. What I do remember is they all tasted good but I probably wouldn't order the cauliflower again. Not bad but a bit disappointing. My favorite thing about this place though is the toppings bar. So many different choices! Plus this way you can put on exactly the amount you want. Something you're not too sure of but want to try? Well just take a dab. Need to go back and check out the rest of the menu. 2021-122

La Divina is legit. I stopped here on a rainy Saturday and entering the store brightened my outlook on the day. I miss Mexico and the last time I was there was in 2015, so this was a nice memory jog. It cheered my up and and I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted margaritas on a beach, specifically margaritas on a beach in Tulum. They have really cleaned things up and painted it all up since the last time I was there. I had two tacos while I was there; asada and barbacoa. Both were delicious. I also like how they have a toppings bar and it has radishes. I like that option. The food is amazing and tastes fresh.

La Divina is your authentic Mexican stop located in the heart of Kenmore, NY. If your looking for quality, taste, and selection from tacos, quesdillas, tortas check them out. It's nice La Divina offers a selection for vegetarian tacos. Ordered extra a califlower taco and small chicken quesdillas...both were divine, chicken, cheese and califlower were cooked perfect, great portion size and love the shells their made with.. They continue to wow with service, experience and flavor.

I've driven past La Divina repeatedly, and every time I've said " oh I've got to try that restaurant!" Well I finally did and I'm really glad !! First let me tell you that if you are a Flan lover like I am, not thick Flan or Flan that you eat because its as close as you can get to Flan, but real Flan , they have it !!!! Well they ran out the day I was there because I think I only left two of them. But in any case, they aren't round but other than that, those squares have the lovely dark top ( actually since it's served upside down it's on the bottom ) and the caramelized sugar ( could have browned a tad longer) sauce is the pool for the perfectly creamy texture to sit in, its the perfect bite of Flanny heaven. Now the tacos.... All the tacos I got were the vegetarian tacos and every single one was delicious!!! There was potato and poblano, cauliflower grilled with peppers and onions , zucchini grilled with peppers and onions , crimini mushrooms grilled with peppers and onions. All were served in a double corn tortilla and toppings like sour cream are added but there are more available on a bar at the end of the counter. You can fill to go cups with a variety of toppings from tomato's to grilled poblano peppers, cilantro, various levels of heat sauces and even fresh limes. There are also baked goodies. There's a pig shaped cookie that reminds me of molasses cookies. And a lovely roll that's sweet like Easter bread. I picked up some fun soda that reminded me of the soda flavors from childhood. Tamarind and apple flavors were in this trip. No diet flavors of course but I brought them for other family members and took a sip just for a trip down memory lane. The service was amazing , especially considering how busy it was. The food was all ready in about five maybe eight minutes. The tacos were absolutely delicious. I liked every one of them, and I tried them with various toppings that I picked up from the toppings bar. I actually cut them all in half , two were plenty for a meal because the corn shell was filling. The only thing I can say about the meal is that I was thirsty the whole rest of the day. You know that kind of thirsty that you're still thirsty after you finish drinking something. But it was well worth it because it was all delicious, the service was excellent and the prices were really great. So if you keep driving by and saying " I really should stop there" STOP!! You'll be glad you did!

I used to frequent here weekly when I lived in Kenmore and was a 2 minute walk away, but sadly I only get to visit here once in a blue moon these days when I happen to be in the area. It's been about 2 years since I stopped in due to COVID, but they updated some of the stuff inside and redid their storefront window. It looks great! There are still some left over grocery shelves but it looks like they're working on getting rid of them all. The food was great as always, and I recommend taking advantage of the toppings bar - especially the guac dressing. My favorites are the chorizo and Al pastor but you can't go wrong with any. It is extra for cheese & sour cream so I always opt out of those but it is delicious with it.

Super simple, delicious tacos! You order your taco with choice of meat, pick a few toppings and then you get to dress your taco yourself. Very cheap and delicious! Great for a quick lunch!

I really need to come on this side of town more often because I have been finding some great spots around this wah and La Divina did not disappoint! You walk in to a huge open area that houses authentic food and small amounts of grocery items. There are seats available to enjoy your food which you may want to do because it's that good. Their prices are awesome so I tried a few things while I was there. I got a chicken taco and a ribeye steak taco which were both very tender. A birria taco which is made with beef brisket and comes with liquid magic for dipping. I literally put this juice on EVERYTHING once I tasted it. I also got a tortas and chose chorizo as my meat. The sandwich had a good flavor and the bread was very soft. For my drink I got a large Horchata. I'm soooo glad I got a large. It was so good. I went with a friend who got the beef taco, a quesadilla, a birria taco, a side of queso (it was huge), and a side of beans. She said everything was great. I had the queso and it was BOMB! As of right now they don't deliver but they are considering it soon. There is a side bar where you can add condiments such as tomatoes, salsa, etc. There may be a huge line, but you won't be in it long. They are very fast and accurate which was great. My friends and I are already planning to go back and try more food.

Heard so many people rave about their birria tacos and they weren't lying they were juicy, super flavorful, cheesy and the shell was even a little crispy which is the best! The chicken tacos were good but definitely 2nd, I think they could've been seasoned a tad bit more and they kind of fell apart. I've always been more of a chicken taco girl but these birria surpassed my expectations. They give you a great amount of meat on both. The service was extremely fast and very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be coming back.

La Divina delivers exactly what I was looking for - Street tacos. I opted for the new mushroom and poblano as well as the asada. The corn tortillas are perfect - soft, not dry, not mealy, and the ABUNDANT toppings bar fills in any gaps that you may want. I also got a chicken tamale. I don't have enough tamale knowledge to judge, but, I loved it. I added a bunch of their really amazing salsa verde to it. I stared/drooled at the nachos that came out and I wanted to go back and order 2nd dinner. Not because I wasn't pleased, but because everything looks so good I was getting fomo. For sure great value and quick and speedy service. SImple inside - so anyone reviewing a lack of a star for the interior is missing the point of this shop.

I'm so mad I lived walking distance from La Divina for three years and I didn't realize what I had until it was gone. And by "it" I mean me, cause I moved. UGH! I have been wanting to try birria tacos since I heard about them about a year ago, but I wanted to make sure my first one was at a tried and true spot. Previous reviews insisted that this place was it, and I'm so glad I trusted them. SO CRISPY CHEESY GOOD. Ugh. Truly filthy and delicious. I got three for my husband and I to split and it was a lot for us, which is saying something because we are pros at eating food. We also got a carnitas, asada, and barbacoa taco (the owner once told me the barbacoa was her favorite thing in the menu so had to try). All three were delicious, especially with the pico de gallo and cilantro from the toppings bar. It was tough to snag a spot to eat, and the line was kinda long when we got there, but we had our food within 20-25 minutes. Next time I'd order for pick up and eat it at Mang Park around the corner.

Their food speaks for themselves. It's a place where you find taste, and nothing but taste. We ordered the Birria Tacos, Tamales, Pescado-Fish, Ribeye, Al pastor-pork, flan and chocolate mousse. I would have given a five star if the interior was a slight better. But their food is amazing and they have customers coming in all time. I would like to go there again but for take-outs only.

This is the first time I've been here & I had a good time with my son. It was a nice little Yelp event, so thank you to Yelp & Alex. I received my free beef taco w/Cheese & Sour Cream & my free Diet Coke. I bought my son a beef taco w/Cheese. I ordered us chips & Queso to split. The Queso was Delicious !!!!! The tacos were good, but the shell tasted a bit "off". The tortilla chips also tasted old & kind of stale. . When we got to the self serve counter, everything was pretty much empty & what wasn't , looked very old. I guess we just went at the wrong time of the day. I may try this place again around lunchtime & see if there is a more positive difference. There weren't enough tables for everyone there & I'd say about 1 out of every 10 people were wearing masks & the 1 guy w/o one, was coughing a lot. Some employees were wearing them, but not all. Speaking of employees, they were all VERY nice. That was a big PLUS ! The tables were not being wiped down as people left. I liked hearing the music they were playing & the authenticity of the place. But, the 2 stars go to the friendly employees & the Queso.

The most delicious and fastest food and trust me I'm picky! We got barbacoa, asada, pollo, nachos and everything was authentic and full of flavor. Salsa bar to customize your tacos with toppings. Great service. Would 100% come back again and again!! Thank you!

Birria tacos are to die for! The corn tortilla is dipped in a spicy broth and topped with a mound of shredded spicy beef and cheese. It's then folded and placed on the flat top to melt the cheese and caramelize the tortilla shell. It's incredible! I travel from the Falls once a month just for these tacos. In the past I've also had their shrimp tacos and barbacoa tacos which are quite good as well. But it's the birria that keeps me coming back.

Good, but it has definitely gone down hill from when they opened. Corn tortillas are now bought from Chicago, WTF? , topping bar is ok , place is clean, Their Flans the best , I've ordered from every Spanish or Mexican place I've eaten in the 2 years and there's is definitely the best, but still not as good as my sisters.

It's been a while thank you yelp for reminding me about this great taco restaurant in Kenmore. Sit down about ten tables stand up area if you're inclined! A good amount of tacos tamales rice beans and a multitude of bottles and cans of beverages including a wealth of Mexican fruit based sodas. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Today I enjoyed a Barbicoa- brisket taco and a chorizo taco. I loaded up at the condiments bar there were hot mild and medium hot sauces, guacamole, cilantro,onions,radishes,roasted peppers and Pico De gallo to enhance your tacos or rice and beans sides dishes. The beverage I tried was a Mundel apple soda that was light and refreshing. The place is no frills quickly serving food get in and get out type of establishment. There is a refrigerated case next to the cashier by the front door that had a few different pastries and flan that looked delicious. I always eat too much and forget to try them next time for sure.

Little place in north buffalo. Tacos are amazing! Birria tacos are my favorite, highly recommend. They're relatively inexpensive 2.95 for veggie, ~3.55 for meat, and ~4.95 for specialty like tongue, gut and birria.

Tacos are one of my weak spots, wherever I may be, if there are tacos on the menu, you can be assured I am considering them. The temptation I tell you! I saw the pictures from La Divina, and my mouth immediately started watering. I made it the first place I got food in Buffalo. Now, if I've said it once, I have said it 100 times: balance is everything. On the one hand, I appreciate that they did not skimp on the meat, on the other, this, at least in part, led to a less than stellar experience. Before I take a bite into the meat... quick note: if you are looking for lettuce, or have a tortilla preference, make sure you specify. When asked if I wanted cheese and sour cream, I requested "with everything, please", this was only applied to sour cream and cheese. Lettuce must be requested seperatly. No big deal, authentic tacos come withour lettuce, I believe. I ordered an Al Pastor and Barbacoa taco. Quick side note: they claim the barbacoa is brisket, however, isn't barbacoa typically braised/marinated pulled beef? If this was brisket, then the wonderful fatty parts of it were missing. I dig the [unlimited] toppings bar, you can shamelessly personalize your tacos with abandon. No shame in asking for more pico de gallo if you can just help yourself! Other options included 3 (seemingly) house-made hot sauces, lime, cilantro, radish, and others. At the time of this review, they are individually packaged (COVID, and all). What would be very helpful here, though, is if everything was labelled. It would save having a bunch of people asking what they are looking at (esp. in regards to the sauce offerings). The meat was, unfortunately, this place's undoing. First, because of the sheer amount of it, even with the toppings you can reasonable fit before you get an impromptu taco salad, it overtakes anything else. Seocnd, while I would not describe the meat as tough, I am not sure if I would go as far as to descibe it as tender, per se. Regrettably, the problems do not stop there. The amount of juices that burst out upon biting would have you thinking I was eating a burger! The proteins had almost enough moisture to make their own soup. The Al Pastor was not quite drowning as the Barbacoa was, but had seemingly excess oil. This blurs both the flavors and textures of not only the meat, but also any toppings you add. Instead of bold, distinct flavors, you get something resembling a stew. I did find the Al Pastor a little devoid of those bold, bursting flavors, but this might be attributed to being dulled by juices. They have some things going for them here: the toppings bar for one, fast service for another, and that two tacos makes a filling meal For me: a filling meal should also be enjoyed, and not just eaten to quench the hunger bug.

Very good Mexican food. Fast and real. Lunch not too crowded. Taco are very tasty and made to order.
