As a traveler, dining at La Dogana Ristorante was a delightful experience. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this restaurant offers a perfect blend of authentic Italian flavors and warm hospitality. The menu showcases fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with dishes like handmade pasta and perfectly grilled meats standing out. The cozy atmosphere and scenic views made it an incredible spot to relax after exploring. Whether for a romantic dinner or a casual meal, La Dogana is a must-visit culinary gem!

Amazing menu and extremely friendly staff. We had a wonderful sparkling wine and local red with our dinner. The menu was fresh and fun. I would recommend dining here for not just a meal, but for a dining experience. The cheesecake was one of the best I’ve had!

We absolutely loved the restaurant! We came on short notice and they welcomed us right away. Their wine selection was fantastic, the food was all fresh and locally sourced, and when we left they even gave us tips for the area. Really great place, I can highly recommend.

The food and service was incredible! The owners were incredibly helpful with picking out our courses and wine. The view is top notch. If you are looking for a gastronomic experience that is totally encapsulated with the local flair definitely go here!

Excellent restaurant with super friendly atmosphere. Owned by Dutchies passionate about cooking with local ingredients, this place really took us by surprise as we went in for a modest lunch and were taken aback. The gazpacho with burrata and basil is e cream was otherworldly. They had just started growing their own herbs, can only imagine this place will get even better.

The husband and I came here for lunch at the recommendation of the Lonely Planet as “modern Italian” cuisine. We were given a table in the sun room, which didn’t have proper ventilation or air conditioning, and had large cobwebs and dust. I asked if we could be moved to a table out of the sun, where it was considerably cooler, and showed him the table. He said that table was reserved. That was not true, as no one showed up while we were there. We had a salad, which had no dressing or seasoning (basic); spaghetti with shrimp, were spaghetti tasted and looked like it was mass produced, and I expected it to be made from scratch, although the sauce tasted good; and grilled sea bass, which came with raw diced peach, so not very imaginative. The sea bass tasted good, but overall we left disappointed and uncomfortably hot.

A delightful new take on the Tuscany experience from the wonderful Dutch duo, Lieke and Boet. Started with sunset drinks on the picturesque terrace and continue inside where the lingering sunset made for a beautiful backdrop to dinner. The hyperlocal experience is brought to light as Lieke points out where the ingredients for your dinner were sourced, starting with the Enoteca’s selection of wines from Palazzo Vecchio- a winery with vineyards visible right from your table. A definite must-stop on a tour of the Montepulciano region. My only complaint- that I can’t come back tomorrow.

Yelp
Excellent! Beautiful, tasty, and well presented food. We were looking for a place with dishes with more vegetables. We've eaten a bit too much bread while having been in Italy. La Dogana was recommended, by the proprietor of our bed and breakfast, as a place to go for good food. It was perfect! Our servers were terrific, too, a very pleasant young woman and a very attentive perhaps maybe owner/chef or matte'd?

Yelp
This is an amazing 5-star restaurant. Classy and sophisticated with very appetizing delights. The view alone is outstanding but the food takes it to a whole new level. Farm to table at its finest with local wines that do not disappoint.
