La Dolce Vita | Hotel & Pousada

They are thieves! I booked at this establishment with the cancellation and full refund option. I cancelled my booking on time and they still charged me! Of course no response when I try to contact them (phone, WhatsApp, email) !!!! Don't go to them !!!

Wonderful stay. We were 5 staying 3 nights.

We stayed at this place from Wednesday through Saturday this June. It was fantastic! The place is only a block from Broadway, where all the action is, and only a short 5-minute walk down to the beach.||We stayed at the L'amore apartment/room. Very clean, brand new room. AC unit was so quiet we didn't even know it was on half the time. Breakfast had a nice variety of fruits, cakes, juices, and other local staples. The only problem we encountered was on Friday night and Saturday morning with excessive music noise from the guests at the next door pousada. The manager at our place advised us to let them know next time, so they can take the appropriate course of action notifying the local police (there are noise ordinances in Brazil after 10pm). Staff was always helpful and pleasant. The owners seemed to show concern for our comfort every time they crossed us in the pousada grounds. The chalets were the cutest thing too. The Wi-fi was spotty at times. The swimming pool grounds was beautiful. The place is all beautifully ornated and the landscaping is pristine.||I suggest staying during the week days and leaving before, or right at the beginning of the weekend, to avoid noise and crowds from the capital, Fortaleza. If you can, book a room closer to the entrance of the pousada to avoid noise from the pousada next door, in the back.

So glad to have found this spot in previous post. Great for relaxation after 2 days of delayed flights. Owners photos represent the place accurately. Staying in a basic room with queen bed and set of bunk beds. Clever configuration. I am enjoying the easy access to wi-fi in room and dining area. Nice breakfast, inviting pool, comfortable bed, easy walk to main street (Broadway) and beach. This town has an eco development plan in progress. Lots of new construction evident.||If you're the patient kind of traveler, it works fine to arrive by bus from Fortaleza, via the city bus station (rodovaria). Tookus about 3 1/2 hours on the comfy Sao Benedito (green) bus. There's also a transfer service available from the hotel (inquire directly) but it cost too much be comparison. I'm sure it would be lots quicker. (Bus fare was less the $!0 each at the bus station)

Great rooms named after Federico Fellini movies, all looking brand new. The pool is very attractive. There's live music in the happy hour and the breakfast is ok. I recommend and would return. All the attendants are very helpful. They don't offer towels to be used at the beach.

Stayed here with two friends during the World Cup.||||Very good value. With the beach being so close by, there was little need to dip in the nice pool. Very close to the bus stop so it was easy to drag luggage. Would come back if I ever returned to Canoa Quebrada.

We stayed for two nights and it truly is a great place! Lovely and helpful staff, clean and beautiful pool area, nice cabins and exellent breakfasts . Located close to the beaches and main street. Very child friendly. I would highly recommend Pousada la dolche Vita.

Returned one year later - and loved the place even more the second time. It is a beautiful posauda and the staff are unobtrusive and friendly. Lovely pool, nice garden to rst in the shade. Highly recommended.
