(Formerly named l’ecailleur) Awesome restaurant right in the middle of the port, that we found on YouTube from a popular France travel blogger. Did not feel touristy at all. You can tell that the chef really cares about what they’re creating. We almost came back a second time (but sadly did not have enough time)
Service - 5/5
Food - incredible, and fairly priced especially for the area. Limited menu (probably seasonal), which means everything will likely be fresh.
Oyster appetizer was so fresh (no sharp, off putting brine-y flavors).
Sirloin steak with veggies and honey miso sauce may have been one of my my favorite steaks ever. So crispy on the outside. Medium rare came out more pink than I expected but I actually did not mind it all - tender as expected and did not feel raw or blue at all. And the sauce - wow!
And finally, the market fish - in the US, you won’t find a market catch priced lower than a lot of the rest of the menu. Sauce was beautiful, buttery, flavorful. Good veggies as well.
Ambiance - cute, beautifully decorated.
