We were suggested 3 course meal - empanada with meat for start, main steak or ribs or ravioli, and a dessert for 35,000 ARS. We did not take it as we weren’t that hungry and had instead 2 main courses - one steak and one ravioli with ricotta and nuts in a white sauce for 20,000 ARS each. A beer cost 5500 ARS. The food and service were great! Highly recommend :)

What an amazing spot! This is a hidden gem. They only offer three-course meals; appetizers include empanadas, a cheese plate, meat with a salad, and dessert. The staff there couldn't speak English, but we managed to communicate using Google Translate. They do have an English menu. The price differs depending on payment method (approximately $4 more for card payments). They have two sections; the front section is where you walk in, and once inside and you continue walking, you will see a modern building with a 270-degree view (right next to the rafting shop). I highly recommend sitting where you can enjoy the view.

An incredible dining experience — the best ribs I’ve ever had! The food was truly exceptional. While no one spoke English, the staff was very patient with us, and we still felt welcomed. There was a bit of a communication barrier as we didn’t realize there was a menu you could order from, and we were given the set meal, but honestly, it turned out to be a great deal. The set meal was plentiful, and we were served so much delicious food. One thing to note: the meal took a long time — over two hours, which unfortunately impacted our afternoon plans. That said, the food was absolutely worth the wait. I’d recommend making a reservation if possible to secure a better seat, but just be prepared for a very leisurely and long meal. Overall, it’s a place well worth visiting for anyone in the area!

Went here hoping to enjoy an authentic outdoor parilla grill, but seems they don’t do it on weekdays. On offer was a three course pre fix menu. I was surprised at the high quality of each dish, definitely a good meal. If you’re wanting the grill experience, I suggest calling ahead and seeing if it’s available.

📝 Hands down one of the best eating experiences in Argentina. La Escondida is a true gem in Potrerillos where you can find authentic local food and the pleasant vibe of a family-driven restaurant. It didn't sound like there were many non-Spanish speaker customers, making the feeling also more authentic compared to other restaurants. 🍴 They offered a 3-course lunch consisting of an entrada with fiambres, a main dish (we opted for costillar a la llama, which comes with side salad and potatoes by default) and dessert (had flan casero con dulce de leche and pear in malbec). Without making this review too long, I can only say everything was delicious! ☝🏼 Service was fast and efficient, but what we most liked was that it felt genuine: one of those times where people are passionate about providing great service to customers. Note that the place was crowded and if you don't reserve you may need to wait to get a table.

Great atmosphere and really good food. We stumbled across this solace by accident and were really amazed by the view, how nice we were received as well as the food!

Everything you could want from a mountainside Argentinian BBQ. Mouthwatering. Excellent wine selection to pair

One of the best meals I've eaten, and certainly the best value meal I've ever had! Everything is homemade, and the empanadas and flan were exceptional. As was the steak with malbec sauce. Would thoroughly recommend!
