This is truly a hidden gem of El Calafate. You will live in silence on a hill with a beautiful view of the lake. The price for this is a $5 taxi to the city center. The restaurant in the hotel is priced like in the city. What you need to know: the hotel is like a vintage museum - lots of common areas where you can sit, look at the lake and take a break from the activity. Good breakfasts from 6:30am to 10am BUT when we had to leave for an excursion earlier - breakfast was available for us at 6am. This helped us a lot and gave us a boost of energy! I think this is one of the best hotels in El Calafate and I recommend it to everyone

Wonderful place to stay in El Calafate. I wasn’t prepared for how stunning the views are! A really peaceful haven to start / end your Patagonia trip. The staff are so kind and helpful - always contactable via WhatsApp, and making me feel really welcome, like a home away from home. Yes, it’s a short taxi ride or (c1h) scenic walk into town, but you are closest to the glacier for expeditions. I would definitely come back to stay here again!

Excellent staff who proactively chased up our pick up for the day outing, providing hot water and milk for a late night cup of tea and making a delicious box lunch (chicken roll with mayo, tomato, lettuce and egg). Comfortable beds and spectacular view from the dining area and our window. Just a bit out of town but that makes it closer to Perito Moreno.

I booked this hotel because of the price frankly BUT have to say I have never been happier with my choice. The hotel sent regular text through WhatsApp to keep me informed and provide assistance prior to my stay and during the stay. The hotel is just outside of the busy city area of El Calafate so if you don’t have a car it will mean getting a cab but that isn’t difficult. The hotel is spacious, clear and comfortable. The staff is helpful, friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very nice every morning and you also had an opinion of eating dinner on the property. The view from my room was amazing. I loved everything about my stay in this property.

Rooms are dated and a little too far from town to walk to. (Need a car, really). The positive is that it is away from town, the food is good with beautiful views over Lake Argentino, it is a good value place to stay.

Our room was very large! The bed was super comfortable, the staff super friendly. The location is also great as you don’t have to cross all of El Calafate if you’re going to Glaciares de Perito Moreno.

Our room had a beautiful view of Lago Argentina the sunset and sunrise were even more breathtaking. We stayed here for two nights. While not the best it served its purpose as a one/two nighter. Would not stay longer than that. ||Although it’s located in a peaceful part of the El Calafate strip it was a bit farther away from the town. Not as accessible on foot however was a quick taxi ride away. ||The only disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. The offerings included cereals, breads and pastries or a continental breakfast as we say in the United States. It did not seem adequate enough in my opinion. I would stay here again but it would not my first choice. I would probably bring my own breakfast. :-)

Great location, great cuisine and price/quality ratio is the best you could get. Great rooms with a perfect view. You have free parking. Thank you Corina, you were truly helpful everytime. Regards Fede and Mile.
